They let Steelers only supposedly in here but lately there has been more and more private people coming in and jacking up the prices and let me tell you the prices are pretty high in Newburgh due to the regular people coming in with dealers
Prices are pretty high but I'm glad they're back open because not everybody knows how to use their apps and computers on an auction plus it's better with friendly service in person welcome back
MANHEIM IS GOOD .. good experience except the individual “ PAT “ on the phone her attitude was not professional , not - friendly .. Other then that the other staff is friendly .
Professional staff. Place is huge. Must have thousands of cars. Pretty well organized parking lot. The car we were picking up had flat tires. And the security staff that was helping us did not have a tire pump. Surprising, but it was solved by a trip to a walmart.
Bad place to deal with I have been buying cars for all over manheim and I never have problem with you deal with manheim ny it’s hard this way the people run away I bought one car and I never receive my title by mail I open claim and one person his mane Neal Fitzpatrick hi send me email oh we send your title and we not responsible for it the guy try to ack like strong guy and I ask him to speak with manger hi told me his not there . I purchase vehicles from the Manheim New York location all of the time and due to an apparent glitch in their system during yesterday's sale, they sold 1 of the 4 Tesla vehicles that I thought I had purchased from them to someone else without even reaching out to me beforehand. Sale date 6/27/19. Lane 7 Run #105. No phone call, no email, no attempt to communicate with me whatsoever. I had called them immediately after I saw the error which was 5 minutes after purchasing the vehicle online before the sale had even ended, left numerous voicemails for several different departments but never heard back from a single person. Then I just get a call back from the Arbitration department today saying that they're not sure what happened but unfortunately that vehicle was already sold to the next highest bidder at noon yesterday. This seems to be the new normal for almost every Manheim auction location these days. Their buy fees keep going up and up every year, however their communication and level of customer service keeps going the exact opposite way getting worse and worse. Very disappointing but the simple fact is that they truly don't care about this issue or even my business with them because they know that we are simply just one single small drop of water in what's a massively large ocean of customers for Manheim. Keep that in mind if you have choices on who you can purchase vehicles from and ultimately give your hard earned money to, as Manheim certainly doesn't deserve it.
It used to a good auction but now you can’t find any decent car under $2500. This auction will let anyone sell cars with bad engine and transmission without even mentioning it.
PAID FOR POST SALE INSPECTION. REAR MAIN SEAL OUT AND MISSING COIL PACK AND STILL PASSED! THEY REFUSED TO UNWIND THE DEAL BECUASE WE PUT OVER 150 MILES GETTING BACK TO THE STORE. WOULDN'T HAVE LEFT HAD POST INSPECTION DONE THEIR JOB. TALKED TO SEVERAL PEOPLE, SENT PHOTOS....NOTHING. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
With the exception of Devin and Amanda the security officers are worthless and competent lazy malcontent idiots who would much rather play on their phone than help a customer the site layout is ever-changing and no one ever knows what's going on this place needs to take an example of Devin and Amanda's attitude work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to accomplish the mission
How can anyone auction with so much money not have a good heating system to keep there customers warm when standing out in the lines to bid.also they say title is here when u bid on a car then when you go paid for it and ask for title they tell you is not there yet but that they'll send it to you. They just want to charge you 15$ for each title they ship u so if you have 3 cars they'll ship you 3 different packages just to charge us 15$ for each package. And there employees are rude
Worst Manheim to work with!!! They NEVER answered on the phone!!!! NEVER!! I have no ideea how to set up price and other things with them! I have one car in the auction to sell waiting for 2 weeks because they don't answer on the phone to set up the price!
Got a shuttle to be driven around, but spent hours looking for a car that wasn't there because security didn't scan it out when it left two weeks prior, was told by an employee that it's not uncommon.
They have varieties of cars for sale and big parking lot for the sold cars. They also provide VERY CLEAN bathrooms & great staffs with money winning opportunity every week.
Wow, the clowns at the office were worthless. They lost my car and all they can say is " it's over there" me "over where" them "over there" this went on for a very long time and I walked the entire lot and couldn't find it.
Thanks to the older gentleman who drives the van he was very helpful. This place is a real mess. Nothing is organized and no one is willing to help. Be aware buying at this auction.
If I could give zero stars I would. I am a dealer and have been in business since 1991. I buy from all the Manheim Auctions across the U.S. and I have never been treated so poorly by Manheim until this week. I purchased 2 trucks from Manheim New York this month. My transporter shows up to pick them up. One is buried behind bushes and the transporter pulls it out and the headlights and grill are missing. The headlights and grill were there when it ran through the lane and in the condition report pictures. I called Manheim to speak to Arbitration and they tell me it was not documented on the pull out slip when my transporter pulled the truck out and that it most likely happened in the staging area outside the auction. Mike in Arbitration sends me a picture of a sign at the gate. Wrong! My transporter had to pull in the auction to get my trucks because the lazy security guards did not want to help and they did not want to locate the keys to my trucks that were in the office so my trucks were never in a staging area outside the auction. Second, Manheim is more concerned with blaming my transporter then they are that they have a thief on the property, most likely one of there employees they are trying to protect. I am writing this not because of the cost of a grill and headlights that I now have to pay for to get the truck right to sell but the fact that Manheim New York has no concern that they have a thief on the property and don't care. All they have to do is look at the security cameras and they will see when my transporter left there lot with my truck there is no headlights or front grill. They would rather blame my transporter than find the thief that took the parts off my truck. Pretty sad with the $400 to $500 fees that I pay per truck that Manheim New York Arbitration or Management could not take a look at the security camera to see who stole the parts off my truck. Buyer and Seller fees pay there salaries, they seem to have forgotten that. With this said I will never purchase another truck from Manheim New York.
