WholeFoods Tribeca, how about respecting New York law and NOT LETTING DOGS IN YOUR STORE?
I shop there every day and every day I see many dogs that obviously are not service animals. No one ask the inconsiderate dog owners for justification so they all get in with their dogs. As a result, you can see dogs sniffing groceries, barking at customers, putting their paws on food displays, and even peeing - true, see the picture. It's DISGUSTING and totally UNHYGIENIC.
RESPECT THE LAW and make sure dogs stay out of your store.Feb 15, 2026 -
There are so many options in the deli here. Test good be slightly better overall but not too many complaints

On Jan 12, 2026, around 1:20 pm, I was using the Amazon return self-service kiosk at this Whole Foods. After scanning my QR code and finishing the return, I forgot my phone and walked away.
If you use the return machine without any staff helping, definitely remember to grab your phone.
Luckily, the kind gentleman working at the Amazon return counter kept my phone and answered my call, which is how I got it back.
I’m very grateful for his help. My phone has my bank cards and IDs digitally loaded, and losing it would have caused a lot of trouble.Jan 12, 2026 -
I tried to speak to the manager about an employee participating in gangstalking activity here. First manager I spoke with was really nice, although she made it seem like someone would for sure reach out to me by email. This was Monday 10/27/25. On Sunday 11/2/25 I returned to check on it & it just so happened that a customer this time hit me with a cart. So, now I wanted to check on the previous & submit a new complaint. Bc I knew you could clearly see on camera, me trying to get away from her knowing shes trying to come after me with her cart because I'm evading the hit. I spoke with a different manager, Karina, to let her know I spoke with a manager previously but did not hear from anyone. She seemed defensive, I'm not sure why and like she wanted to manipulate the conversation. After seemingly getting a bit nervous she said to me "This was Friday, right?" I did not confirm or deny what she said because I had to think about the day, but then the convo quickly continued. Friday was just 2 days prior. Its really silly to make a complaint on a Friday (holiday at that) & expect a response 2 days later, and a Sunday too. As someone familiar with psychology, I felt like this was nothing more than 'word salad' to cause a ??? moment, stun & redirect the conversation, succesfully deflecting from the main topic. I have been heavily harassed at this WF, W Houston, Union Square & 6th ave, Newark & Weekhawken. These are not meerly "coincidental" or "rude" events. They are organized, and executed utilizing groupchats, illegal surveillance & accepting bribes to help try to suppress another individual. Yesterday, an employee forcefully crashed into me around 9:30 am at Union Sq. It was intentional & pretty hard. I respected the manager for having a positive attitude while listening to my complaint. I was able to have it put on file with the police station.

Reporting to the health department. Lot of non service dogs as tall as my waist sniffing around hot bar and fresh produce. Maybe if the staff were nicer, I would have turned a blind eye.

I noticed this location has a habit to lock the doors earlier. And maybe that is ok. But today I was there 9:50pm (they close at 10pm) just trying to grab a jar of milk. Would have been in and out in 2 mins. The security person shut the door closed right in front of my face and didn’t even blink. I did show him a screen with the time trying to ask to grab my item - he just turned around and walked away.
Not a way to treat customers. Say “sorry closing early». Or update a schedule to show the time correctly. Such rudeness has no justificationNov 16, 2025 -
Every time I come here, I enjoy shopping and eating. You can find everything you need: fresh ingredients, ready-made meals, and a very large buffet with freshly prepared dishes. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and you never have to wait long at the checkout.

Well stocked - a little confusing layout compared to the more “regular whole
Foods” given the labyrinthine basement. But fruits and veggies are fresh and the selection is good. Not as good as the WF in Tribeca (ex the cheese section there has about three times as much variety as Wall St)Oct 12, 2025 -
Very friendly atmosphere and everything your looking for. I mostly enjoy their organic fruits . They have a salad bar, hot food bar, alot to offer. You can also have your packages delivered here to pick up..

Great selection of good options! But listen… we need to talk about the real MVP: the 12–2pm po’ boy sandwiches on pretzel bread. Absolute 10/10, no notes, perfection on a plate (or in a wrapper, technically). They had it before the pandemic, and ever since it disappeared, my taste buds have been living in exile. Please, Whole Foods, do the right thing—bring it back! Don’t let pretzel bread po’ boys become just a beautiful memory.

I couldn’t find anything I needed in this store, and the layout made the experience even worse. Having to walk through a tunnel of products just to check out is frustrating and unnecessary. The person who designed this setup clearly didn’t think about the customer experience.

The wholefoods is decent, but they let dogs everywhere. Dogs near hot bar is disgusting. Also the entitlement of the people who shop here is gross, had to go to customer service stood in line for 20 minutes because a woman had 20 different returns with no receipt, giving the girl a hard time and making everyone else there wait. Should be at least two people there, i feel bad for the staff here

It makes no sense to me to have pride on being an allergen friendly store when you sell bulk peanuts. Self serve. My family cannot shop here because of this. And it spreads over the entire store from the carts to checkout anything customers touch. I feel there needs to be a peanut area for the employees to touch only and bag. Just like they have their own cheese area. It's extremely frustrating to find a good store with amazing everything except the cross contamination from the peanuts.

As a Whole Foods it’s fine. I feel bad for the staff as customers are rude, demanding, entitled, no sense of spacial awareness, will take stroller and dog (s). Will stand in middle of aisle pondering. Also help themselves to antipasto and loose nuts with their hands.

Unforgettable Service at Whole Foods—Thanks to Samantha!
I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Samantha at the flower section inside Whole Foods, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. From the moment I walked up hoping to find sunflowers for my sister—her favorite flower—Samantha greeted me with warmth and genuine care.
Above and Beyond Service There was only one bouquet of sunflowers available, so I decided to get roses instead. While waiting for them to be wrapped, I asked Samantha if there were any more sunflowers. She kindly asked me to wait and said she’d check in the back. She magically returned with the most stunning sunflowers I’d ever seen—fresh, golden, and vibrant, like sunshine bundled into stems. She wrapped them with beautiful attention to detail, adding her own artistic touch to make them feel like a true gift.
A Touch of Humanity and Knowledge With a cheerful smile, Samantha shared a little sunflower lore, including the fact that they’re the national flower of Ukraine—something I hadn’t known. That moment turned a simple purchase into a meaningful encounter. She didn’t just sell flowers—she offered joy, warmth, and a touch of culture all in one.
More Than a Transaction Samantha elevated the experience from routine to unforgettable. Her kindness and enthusiasm were contagious—leaving me with a huge smile and attracting admiration wherever I went with the sunflowers.
If you ever find yourself near the flower counter at Whole Foods and Samantha’s there, trust me: you're in for more than just a bouquet. You're in for a moment of grace, beauty, and genuine human connection.
Thank you, Samantha, for turning a simple errand into a lasting memory.

Revisited with Hope to Upgrade My Review — Unfortunately, Things Got Worse
I came back to Whole Foods Tribeca hoping to update my last review and give the store a better rating — as 99% of my reviews are positive. Sadly, what I witnessed made that impossible.
A known bottle and can collector, carrying two filthy bags filled with recyclables, was seen stealing what appeared to be hundreds of dollars in vitamins. He then made his way to the salad bar, where the dirty cans repeatedly brushed against the food. Shockingly, security watched and did nothing. I informed customer service, who also failed to act.
As customers, we deserve clean, healthy food and a basic standard of hygiene. This experience was unacceptable, and I will never return to the Tribeca Whole Foods salad bar again.
Please see the attached photos.May 11, 2025 -
The pizza here is surprisingly good. The food bar itself is top quality. One of the best Whole Foods in the city. Very large layout. Endless organic products.
Great location too by WTC, financial district, and hudson river park.Apr 14, 2025 -
Food selection is good. Staff are nice. BUT they allow homeless people to stay at the Cafe area and use the carts for their things and/or then no one sanitize the tables and carts. It is a health hazard for people who are eating. I sympathize that homeless people need a safe place to stay especially when it is cold. But not to the expense and health of other paying customers who can get sick after using the tables they used and its not being clean. I also understand that staff are not paid and trained enough to deal with this situation. The wholefood company should try to deal with this and refer the problem to the city of NY

This is the only Whole Foods that consistently has a supply issue. Everytime I go here I'm disappointed about the lack of anything. It's almost sad - either there is a food shortage or this store doesn't know how to manage a super market

Whole Foods dinning area is disgusting! I came with a friend to grab a bite before go home and I couldn’t find fresh food and clean area to eat! What happened with this place?!

Product placement proved to be perplexing as I spent precious time searching for yogurts, only to discover them tucked away behind the vitamin aisle. On a more positive note, the Mediterranean and Hot bar delighted me with their wide variety and freshness. However, the average cost for a medium cup and a box amounted to $21.
My shopping experience took a turn for the worse in the self-checkout area. There were no clear signs or instructions on how to pay for the items I had selected. In contrast to Target, where self-checkout is straightforward, I was left baffled and ultimately abandoned my cucumbers and tomatoes at the self-checkout station.Sep 11, 2023 -
This is one of my favorite Whole Foods locations. I work the area so I frequent it on a regular when I’m in the office. Every time you walk in and look to your right all you see is a colorful array of beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables lined up neatly to perfection. I’m a nut job for stuff like that. My other favorite area to visit here is the olive bar which features an assortment of different olives artichokes etc. when I tell you I’m in heaven I really mean it. This is my go to when making charcuterie board. Not to mention the meat counter has very good cuts of meat. I affectionately refer to this place as “Whole Paycheck” because you will spend your whole check in here if your not careful.

Awesome supermarket... specialising in high quality and healthy foods.
There’s a wide range of fresh fruits , seafoods and vegetables here. This store also provide a huge range for take away vegan foods. Superb !Jun 23, 2022 -
On my sightseeing visits to New York I prefer not to spend too much time eating lunch, while trying to avoid fast food restaurants.
The Whole Foods Market chain is a great option.
The prepared food options are of a high quality. You can take it to eat at the hotel or in some places they also offer dine in.Apr 12, 2022 -
Great store, wonderful location! Fresh produce greets you at the entrance and it's the best thing ever. Never disappoints, love it! Also it's the perfect place for a picnic shopping before going to Rockefeller park.

If you come to visit the new World Trade Center, or the 911 Memorial Museum, don’t forget to come to this Whole Food market, either for a cup of coffee, a quick organic meal or for everyday groceries. You won’t be disappointed when you indulge yourself in this wonderful organic world! It is called the Healthiest Grocery Store the USA. My family love this grocery chain and visit it at least twice a month. Just come and see it for yourself! There is even a lounge room for you to relax a while when you got tired or bored.

This Whole Foods is very poorly laid out with the multiple entrances confusing shoppers and totally disrupting the normal flow of the Whole Foods experience. Besides that; it’s a great store with the expected high quality groceries, huge hot bar area and tons of drinks and snacks. They need to stock more Lemon Perfect! When I went they were out do the original flavor.

Awesone grass fed, beef hamburgers! Big, and tasty - about 1/2 lb. French fries perfectly crisp. We ate here 3 days in a row. In the middle of the store. Sit down and enjoy yourself!

Massive and complete with everything that you could possibly want in the world of food. Nice dining area upstairs, too, with window seats looking out on Manhattan. One city block wide, the store is supposed to be the 2nd largest in the USA
