Love having a small Target in our town. It carries a bunch of great brands and products my family likes, including a lot of healthier brands - Vital Farms eggs, Coco June Yogurts, Organic Navitas Cacao, and many others. It's a quick and easy shopping experience. I also love that I can swap out my Soda Stream canisters easily.

One employee with no manners has ruined the store for me. I spoke to management and they agreed that this woman was in the wrong but did absolutely nothing about it. They did not ask her to apologize, rather they let her stay and go on interacting with other customers when she clearly is a very nasty person. Most of the employees at this store are a pleasure, however it takes one very nasty employee to ruin the experience , and the managers did not handle this at all. I wish I could give more stars. The issue is the staff members don’t greet at all. I guess the folks need a refresher course on greeting & attending the customer. Other concerning matter judging looks staff members pass…say if I come to store wearing my national dress (back from home) I will be followed all the time as if I have come to steal.

Self check out is now 10 items or less, and they don’t have any cashiers open except at customer service…now waiting behind 3 people doing returns. Open a register!! Cashier then directs me to self check out because she doesn’t want to be bothered ringing up customers.

Prices on many basic items are 20-40% higher than full-size Target stores. You’re paying a lot more for convenience at neighborhood Target stores such as this one.

Every target on Long Island sucks but this is by far the worst! They have carts of junk everywhere! Literally 2 or 3 down every isle blocking the isle and the shelves. And they’re not filled with new stock- they’re piled high with damaged products, junk, and garbage! Meanwhile the shelves are pretty bare; expect to leave not getting half the stuff on your shopping list. The clothing section takes up most of the store meanwhile there’s almost no one shopping for clothes. Most customers come for groceries and this store has the smallest most poorly stocked grocery section of any target I’ve ever been to. It’s shame for the people that live in this area since their basically forced to shop at this horrible store since there’s only one other supermarket in the area.

Target is number one when it comes to Customer Service! Today Maddie and Greg at Port Washington store were exceptional! Just extremely helpful and kind locating my order!

I will willingly drive an extra 20 minutes to go to a farther location because I officially can’t stand being in this Target anymore. It is constantly littered with dozens of huge carts to the point where customers are unable to maneuver around them/access items to buy. I would be more forgiving if this happened once in a while, but this has been the norm the last probably ten times I've been there. It is a hot mess and it seems they've just completely given up on actually stocking shelves with merchandise. It’s just not worth it and I won’t be going to this location anymore to brave this absolute nightmare. I can't imagine a manager being ok with a store constantly looking this awful, but if there is a manager present at this location, do better.

Probably never coming to this target again since every time I’ve gone they have 0 cashiers only self check out. Wait on a long line to check your own stuff out … no.

Target has ongoing problems with stocking their stores. Both simply getting thing onto the shelves after it’s already in the store and keeping their products in stock in general. I generally like the store but it has been frustrating trying to get some things. Also, on many items, their prices have gone from been great to simply okay.

Always very clean and not crowded. Staff is always there when you need it. Unlike other targets, this one is definitely not as big, so they have a much smaller inventory, but they still have a relatively good selection of things. This is my go to store, especially during covid, as it's definitely not as crowded and cleaner than other targets. All the staff are wearing masks which is a big plus.

Waited over 30 minutes in line for an online order for 3 new employees to figure out how their return system works. Educate your employees or put more intelligent people to work areas that should take a first grade reading level to understand

Cashier/associate was exceptionally courteous and efficient. He came over to help me right away and processed the refund in seconds. I was out of the store in 3 minutes... so appreciated and important during a pandemic.

everyone is so helpful and the place looks nice and clean. The woman at the self check out is an absolute gem. Friendly and so helpful. She deserves a HUGE bonus!

Unhelpful. They have some good employees but target as a whole is a selfish company. They refuse to help the community. I was in there to purchase food for a single mother of 2 children who has covid. They wouldn't help me in any way provide for them.

The process was easy and seamless. The price was better than competitive. The product was in stock and ready as soon as I placed the online order. The staff was courteous and polite. Did not have to wait long for the in-store pickup once I arrived.

price and quality plus shopping ambiance, problem is the self-check out experience. applying coupons and even normal check out often times requires staff on duty to "come assist" according to screen prompt. What's the point of the self-check out then?

I was at the Jewelry counter and Moj was serving me. She is an excellent sales woman. Moj is very eager to please, knows her merchandise and has great customer service skills. I strongly recommend your store promoting her and giving Moj a significant raise!

I didn't receive all the items requested. I got a cat litter box container to only bring it home to find that it did not have the cover. I originally ordered this at a different target to only find out that first location (westbury) did not have my item in stock AFTER purchasing and selecting that location. RIDICULOUS. I had to drive all the way to Port Washington to get the item in stock. COME ON. If I purchase it online, then have it in that store. Reserve it and put it in the back, especially if a customer already purchases the item online prior to pick up. WHAT A SCAM.

I've really been enjoying having such a great store so local to me! Thanks Target for coming to Port Washington!!! Finally a retail and grocery with such friendly staff, easy check out and so clean!!

It's a fun little Target that I get tasty snacks from if I'm in that town. The shelves are always stocked, employees are very friendly, and it's really clean here. It's a small format Target, so it doesn't carry all the items a regular Target does, it doesn't have a Starbucks/Pizza Hut/Target Cafe, and there's no registers operated by cashiers. They do have self checkouts though and guest service is right next to the self checkouts, so that's pretty convenient. The plaza it's located at, in it's current state, has barely any stores, but that's not a problem for me. All in all, it's a cute, tiny, Target that's a nice addition to the town.

Great store for a great town. May not have as many things as a regular Target but enough for some essentials. Staff and management were great especially when we were getting formula for the baby. A Must visit for anyone in town instead of trekking to westbury.

Great selection of items since it is such a small store. Workers know there stuff. All the checkout counters are self check out so the lines move slow. But probably only this busy because it just opened.

I love our new target store so much ! Even though it’s small but it’s okay. Port Washington is a small town not to much huge stores or like company’s in our town only rid ad and stop&shop. After school as a kid is fun to look around. Got almost everything you need to get. I’m very proud that we now have a target in our town.Hopefully more stores will come to our town.

As it is only a small format Target store, I was expecting much fewer departments than a regular large scale target. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find many of the products that I can find in a regular Target. It certainly doesn't everything. But it has everything I need. I find it to be a welcome addition to our town!
