Excellent customer service, always well stocked and clean. Great parking.

All other departments not withstanding the produce department is the worst I've encountered. I usually go around 6pm on weekdays, on my way home from work, like 99% of most people. So one would expect product to be out for the last wave of the day. But shelves are empty. And whatever is out there is old and passed its time. So tell me Stop&Shop - if I am working all day and weekends are already slammed with other chores, when am I supposed to buy produce? UPDATED 11/28/23: The website address you gave does not work. It just takes me the general website home page. UPDATED 09/02/25 Still the worst produce department. Again, always empty shelving/display and whatever is out there is beyond its time. Can't get a decent piece of fruit or vegetable in this town.

Very clean floors plenty of help bright atmosphere shelves are stocked Pharmacy is fast and Mgr Jason is very helpful with my questions, Starbucks is clean and staff Naila and Brian are very friendly I Highly Recommend it ****

This is a complete revision of a previous review: We had a problem with an outdated item, and a sale not clearly defined. The general manager ( I will not disclose her name, for her privacy) went beyond all expectations to correct the problem and to send to us a proper store credit. You see, coming to the store for the refund was not feasible, as we live very far from any Stop & Shop (we were shopping as part of an out-of-town trip). The manager made it right. If the corporate office is seeing this, you must note that your store manager , at this locale, cares deeply about her store and about her customers.

Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced items, and very clean store.

It is a nice and clean Stop & Shop. I have nothing to complain about this supermarket. People working there are kind and professional.

Great supermarket with major brands. I wish the fresh produce section was larger and with more variety, the selection of salad is somehow limited. Prices are not cheap, but they are cheaper than some other local alternatives. Friendly personnel and very clean and airy.

Robot Employee, check's in at every Stop & Shop. "I need Pop-Tarts, which are obviously always...? Oh hey! Robot Employee! Never see you till it's, alarmingly, to late. How've you been?"

Customer service here is atrocious. Manager on duty today was very nasty and rude. Associates at customer service are not friendly and give attitude. Lines down the aisles today. No registers open, only self checkout, 1 associate to assist tons of old people who don't know how to use self checkout at all and hold up the entire line. Had a question before I came in, called and got hung up on twice, third time I waited on hold for just over 15 minutes before an associate with a horrible, nasty attitude problem picked up. She could not help me and got her manager, who was even nastier, condescending and mean. I never use Stop n Shop because the "fresh" foods are not fresh looking at all, but I gave it a try today and I will NEVER make that mistake again.

They don't usually have shopping carts in the store. Mostly you have to grab one from the parking lot. Plus they don't stock very well. Many times I find empty spots. Bathrooms always dirty

Bad experience ? I have been visiting this store for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience, but today was the worst. Mrs. Marie, the cashier, treated me poorly and threw away my food. It was not my problem that I was busy. It was the worst thing I have ever experienced.

My favorite local large supermarket. They run out of the "chill box" veggies too much. The few times I had to stop by the courtesy the folks there were neither cousteous or helpful. Too bad because most of the store is a big hit.

The whole point of shopping here is to be able to scan and self checkout. Most of the time there are either no scanners or the kiosk is out of service. The App is horrible. You put things in your cart and it crashes or when you go to checkout the cart zeros itself out. Stop & shop please get your tech-act together at this store. EZ enough to shop elsewhere.

On 7-26-23, at about 4:25pm, I went to the "Courtesy" Desk at the Port Washington NY Stop and Shop to report that the 12 pack of Gatorade advertised on the the shelf for $6.49, showed on my receipt for $10.79. The woman I spoke to immediately went to the aisle where Gatorade is located and returned, claiming I was wrong, that I was mistaken. I then immediately went to the aisle and shelf, where Gatorade is located, and discovered the sale tag missing from the shelf! She REMOVED THE SALE TAG INDICATING THE LOWER PRICE SALE TAG! Is Stop and Shop Management aware of deceptive advertising? Isn't deceptive advertising a criminal offense? To be continued........

Please…get more baskets for customer shopping!! Not everyone needs a cart. You have more baskets sitting at the front of the store, on shelves, with returns in them, than you do for shoppers to actually use. Be better Stop & Shop…be better

This place is dirty looking. The produce is horrible and the shelves in produce are never cleaned. You'd think if the shelf is empty like it usually is, someone could possibly give it a wipe down. Nope. Dirty dirty dirty. There's barely any thing in this store. It's way to expensive anyways. ShopRite, definitely

Has everything you would want and/or need in a grocery store. The prices are okay. The sales items often do not ring up at the sales price. I always use the self checkout to carefully make sure each item rings up correctly. More than half of the time I visit this Stop & Shop there is an issue at the checkout so take photos of the sale item so you can show the person working the self check what the item was advertised for. They are good at adjusting to the sales price. It's frustrating when this is often the norm that the advertised price and scanned price do not match up.

The scales added to the self checkout, weighing each item after scanning, are an insult to customers, and slow down the whole checkout process. Who checks the errors the store makes in programming the prices into their system to make sure customers aren't overcharged? And how about making sure there's adequate inventory on the shelves for the items on sale?

Stop n Shop prices are usually the best out of most regular supermarkets, but this location hires people that are disabled and/or disadvantaged and although I applaud the sentiment, I dont want homeless people touching my food. Sorry if you are offended. Go ahead and let the person who was knuckle deep picking her nose pack your fresh fruit into bags. No thanks. Today, they had very few registers open, and the self checkout line was outrageous so I ditched my items and walked out.

The reason I am giving your store only one star is because the older woman you have working in the bakery writing on the cakes is extremely rude. She needs to learn how to be nice to the customers. She definitely needs a customer service class.

I recently shopped here and have to say it's pretty good. My only complait is the staff. When i went to the meat section, the people who were working there took forever to notice us waiting on line. When we asked for our order, the guy was so slow it made me angry. Before he gave us the order, he told us it would snow later that day (which it didn't because it was summer). When we waited in line, there was an old lady checking out the food who was again, really slow.

Great place for one stop shopping. Huge store, nicely organized with very helpful staff. Today I had an excellent customer experience with a Boar's Head representative who helped me with finding the sweet and smoked ham I was looking all over for and the glaze.

I ordered my son’s birthday cake for the first time at the Stop & Shop Bakery. A young man with glasses assisted me with my order and gave me some of his recommendations. The day of my pick up, he had some issues with the printer where the photo that was to be used was not coming out as expected. He was apologetic and told me step by step what he was going to do to resolve the issue. He quickly finished my cake, it looked perfect, and the cake was a big hit at the birthday party. My cake was aboslutely delicious. The inside was very soft and fluffy, and the strawberry filling tasted very fresh. Great first experience!

Big store just can't understand why cashier's are so rude... I'm aware of this normally because I have brown skin but I went to a brown skin lady not sure of what culture due to her garb but she was rude as heck turned to a white female not in her lane and was very nice to her. I worked with the public for years and one thing is for certain green money is green money I'm sure the management understands that all too well. They just need to stipulate it to their employees.
