Today was my 1st time returning bottles/cans ♻️. It was easy - you dump the bottles/cans on the metal table, they count them & give you your money 💰😉. I don’t understand how ppl come here & be having problems 🤷♀️.

YA'LL SUCK....NOW GIVE ME THE AUDIMATTED IM SORRY YOU GIVE EVERYONE ELSE SINCE I COULDNT GET MY MONEY. I DESERVE THAT ATLEAST. THEY ROBBED ME. I COUNTED MY CANS BEFOR I LEFT JUST TO SEE IF IT WOULD BE CORRECT . I COUNTED $17.55 WORTH OF CANS. I GOT PAYED $8.00. THEYRE SKIMMING FOR THERE OWN PERSONAL GAIN. I HAVE CONTACTED THE BETTER BUISNESS BEAURUE AND FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM. I HAVE IT ALL ON VIDEO THAT THEY COULDNT SEE AND ALSO SUBMITTED A COPY OF THE VIDEO AGAINST THE COMPANY

Would give 0 if I could got here at 4:30pm guy closed door as I was walking up and locked it put out a sign that days be back jn 15 minutes. Went shopping came back at 5:45 to others still waiting for the guy to come back. Everybody else has now left along with me NEVER COMING BACK

I have had nothing but a great experience when I go here and the skinny tan girl is working or when the talk skinny boy with glasses is there. Any other time I have gone in there I have been treated very poorly and most times they are closed. I've heard other staff yell at customers and I've even seen them internationally close when they see people coming. I have also seen so many belligerent customers go in there and yell at staff, I have seen costumers attempt to return bags with needles, dead animals, you name it and then yell at the employees working. I would also like to make a little psa for the costumers complaining about staff taking a lunch break or counting slow or not allowing more than a certain number of bottles… GO DO IT YOURSELF. Went at 5:30pm door was open with the sign saying closed for 15 minutes. A worker off the clock said he shouldn't be closing yet so went in and the guy working angrily said he wasn't going to take back our returns because he had a long day and was done for the day. Supposedly he was drunk as another worker said he doesn't know what he's talking about about he's drunk. Proceeded to tell him you don't close til 6 and there's only 4 small bags. He angerly yanked the bags out of my mother's hands, yelling and screaming and shaking the whole time at us. Very unprofessional and scary. The way he was acting seems like if we were men he would've put hands on us.

I love returning my cans and bottles to this place, with 6 40 or 60 gallon bags were in and out within 4 minutes. They throw out the ones that can’t be used, or the barcode is destroyed, but either way you still get your moneys worth.

Why close 15 minutes early! I have been trying to return bottles for weeks because of my schedule with work and things the closest place to my house and made it at 545 and its closed! But someone is still in there with the doors locked!

ZERO STARS, if this could be 0 stars it would be. Avoid going there at all cost. They cheat people on a regular basis by short counting. Then when people like myself have counted the returns ahead of time they get extremely rude when called out for short counting. They shorted me $2.55, imagine if they did that to every customer, imagine the senior citizens in our community they have shorted. The area manager was there the day they shorted me, asked her about it and she was just as rude about it. Hmmm, makes yiu wonder why? Asked to review the camera footage with them, they claimed they reviewed "internally ". Of course you did, 1, 2 skip a few 3, 4 is how it went, correct? Why not review it with the customer? AVOID BATAVIA BOTTLE & CAN RETRIEVAL CENTER LIKE IT'S THE PLAGUE. I would be more then happy to delete this review if they allowed me to review the camera footage. If this review is still up, then you know how that went.

I don’t know why this place gets such negative reviews… they’re respectful and patient. If you have a large order, they have a washer counter system to make sure you get what you’re owed. I’ve never had a problem here. Everyone deserves a lunch break - if you’re on here complaining about it… get over yourselves. That’s the most dehumanizing thing to complain about.

I went in there this morning with a car load of bottles and cans so much to the point that I had to do this on my own as there were no spots for a passenger. I literally had 15 if not more garbage bags full. When I went in I unloaded the bottles in cans and they began to put them in the appropriate places, number one they told me they would not return one type of can though it did have the New York return stamp on it, they said they have a hard time getting their money from the distributor, not my problem! I politely said okay and allowed him to count the rest, it took him quite a while to do this. During this time he never once noted the number of bottles and cans though he left the area several times while counting, spoke with people, while counting and various other duties. The result, $43 mind you I often bring in bottles and cans and receive approximately $35 with far less than I brought in this time. I know for a fact that they screwed me over. Upon taking the cans that they would not return to another retrieval center I told them about my experience and they stated that they've had many many people complain about the same thing from this particular retrieval center. They apparently practice this often! I would not recommend taking my returnables to this center, if you want what you owed!

DON'T GO HERE!! They don't even deserve one star. So none of them there want to serve anyone, they complain if you bring them "too many bag" or if there's a lot of customers. Then they close for lunch at 2pm when most people would want to return bottles and cans after work or before school lets out. And!!! They close for 45 minutes! So when they get back to work they have a big big line and they give everyone a hard time cuz of it. The customer service sucks and so does all of there work ethic. The business needs more competition or to just be shut down completely.

Closed for 45 minutes at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Just straight closes for 45 minutes. Lines built up like crazy. They get upset they have work to do. Lady there was super nasty. Definitely never going back. I'd rather put them in one at time with a machine at Walmart or Tops. Just don't go there. It's not worth it. The lady there acted very superior to us and condescending. Even though she obviously isn't intelligent enough to get a better paying job. Only had 2 bags and yet no service. She told us we can go elsewhere so we did. Regardless of any automated message for a reply I get begging for another chance, they'll never see me again.

Their advertisement says that they’re fast and easy. I don’t know how you can consider their service fast. It’s actually quicker to go to a store where you put the cans into a machine one at a time.

Sign said be back in 20 minutes. Customers lined up outside. Employee just ignored everyone. Waited for over an hour to get in. Placed open at 11 am and has been closed from 12:30. It’s now 1:40 and still closed.

I had $70 in returns and pretty much was told not to come back with that many during the summer. Your not the only bottle place around. I'll just never come back.

I stopped in on a Monday after driving 35 minutes to get to this destination. I did have a generous amount of cans to return.(6 large bags) there were other customers in the redemption center. The one employee that I saw asked me to please leave my bags along the wall. She stated that she was not able to get to them right now because they were busy. when I stated that I would stop back later to pick up my money, she informed me that she most likely would not even get to counting my cans today. She stated that they would notify me later in the week when they were done. I picked up my large bags of cans and went on my way. I think that this would be a good redemption center to use if you only had a small amount of returns or you lived close to the redemption center where it was convenient to come back at another time in the week to retrieve your money. I now consider myself informed, and I will continue to go to my local redemption center in Warsaw, New York

Rude employees. Don't want to do the job Don't work there. Ive brought a large amount of cans and bottles(about a pickup truck bed) and been turned down 4 times. Twice i pulled up more than 45 minutes before closing time and the door was locked. One time the female employee watched me pull up and locked the door in my face as i walked up. You can bring one or two bags in and be helped right away. Anymore and they give you a line about how overwhelmed they are.

Rude ppl, idk why they rude I'm getting my money back. There not doing me a favor I'm doing them a favor. They have a job because of us there customer's. I payed a 5 cent deposit when I bought my cans and bottles. All im doing is getting my refund back. Have more common courtesy and kindness. You don't like working with public get a new job. Especially that skinny girl with a dark tan. She made a rude remark because I still had a little bit of water in my water bottle, saying some other employee wouldn't have accepted it, lol clowns.

Had dropped off 2-3 bags w name and number , was told stays in system and can cash out whenever . Didn’t need the money and when dropped another bag was called and told to come get my money. Great , told her just add it to my account and she could not find one bag entered in the system under my name “so money was stolen “ had a owner call me , she was nice and going to look into it and videos and call me back . 3 months later of course no call , funny enough they don’t ever check overages and if they paid out what they took in . So I’m sure they are banking, isn’t the money it’s the principal and stealing wether 20 bucks or 500 makes it no better or worse . Even the courtesy of a call saying I’m sorry we had some employees in the past where we had issues and saying she couldn’t do much would have been something but just was forgotten and I’m sure hopeful I’d just leave well enough alone . And I oddly bet my response from the owner will be the same “We are sorry for your negative experience. We are always working to improve customer experience, customer service, and overall appearance of our stores. We hope you give us another try to win back your business in the future! 😂

Will never go again. My Mother and I had the most nasty lady wait on us 12/31. Only one person working (when we came in). My mother was told rudely she needs to put on a mask. She forgot to put it on. It happens. Right then mom said to me she’s not getting a tip. We always tip too. Then it went down hill. We were TOLD to stack the full boxes we had. We didn’t know what she was talking about. Then she said it again. We said we wanted them back. She didn’t like that. Mom said she yanked the boxes from my her, then threw them back at her. Then we had an empty box and was told to break it down. Very bossy and rude. I said we will stuff our returnables in a machine ourself before we go back there!

I have only been here 2 times, but both times were not pleasant experiences. Horrible customer service and drove 30 minutes out of the way to just be locked out and ignored because the girl was too lazy to finish up the last 15 minutes of her shift. When a waiting customer knocked on the door to be let in, the girl started shouting at us to leave.. If your'e that unhappy with your job, QUIT!!! Don't take it out on your customers :)

Actually have return bottles/cans here for years without ever an issue. Nice polite associates, great experience. How ever today one of the 2 associates working has managed to have the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. While I understand customers were waiting outside (my son and I as well waited outside in the rain for over 10 mins) but if I did something wrong you could have corrected me without humiliation without telling without treating another human like a POS... Listen if you hate your job (and don't want to be bothered doing it) that much, quit! It is never ok to behave that way. We all have things we are dealing with and doing the best we can.. I will never step foot inside this establishment again, you win. If I could do zero stars I would, just saying.

This place used to be really quick which I loved. The good workers are gone and now the new workers let the machine count the returns which makes everything take longer. I’ve been waiting over 30 minutes to get into the place now. Don’t people know how to count bottles and cans anymore. It’s not the most glamorous job but damn make customers happy. Bad bad customer service now.

Been dealing with them for years. Never any problems. Employees always polite. Never any sorting problems. Always make sure cans and bottles are clean and not crushed as required by NYS law. For those with issues, read The New York State Returnable Container Act. It’s online.

Twice i went there with a load of cans. Service was very rude. First time i thought i came up short so i counted them all the second time beforehand, i also used thier bags they gave me and was told 10 cases to a bag so the second time they stiffed me out of 14 dollars as they said it was because i havent been there in awhile and also that coke cans were in same bag as a few diet pepsi cans.I will never go a third time! Place is a joke. Beware if doing any buisness there as politicans are more honest than they are! Ive since started taking them to ARC and couldnt be happier.

Horrible! We drove 30 minutes because they were one of the only ones “open” in the area. Got there before the closing time and they wouldn’t answer the door. Instead they stood with their back to me while I knocked. I own a small business so I’m not keen on giving others bad reviews, but if 0 stars was an option, they earned it.

Bottles were in the cold so they came in squished. As I emptied each bag onto the counter i was puffing them back up myself. Workers were very rude and informed me i couldn't bring them in like that (as if I did it on purpose) because it took too long (4x 30 gallon trash bags and it was about ten minutes because they watched as I puffed them back up). I even apologized and stated I was trying to help.There cold response was "new owners new policy". I changed mine too and now I won't be returning here.
