This old lady that works there and from viewing the other reviews on here, she is the owner & was racial profiling. I get there with my bag of bottles and she goes in my trunk to move my bags around. All I said to her was I have another bag of bottles in my back seat and she got so nasty with me. She made me wait after she took care of everyone else just to come back to me and say I'm all set to go. She never even took my bag of bottles inside the store, my bottles never got returned. Everything was fine until she seen I was black and then gone snap at me. If you don't want blacks at your establishment then put up a sign or take your business to the white house. It's plenty of other bottles recycling places in wny, no one has to keep coming here to get disrespected and not feeling welcomed. It's the customers that give you business, so ms lady you need to recycle your nasty attitude for a better attitude.
This is a great place to go... when Kevin is working! The older women who work here are always so nasty to me, why? im not really sure! I do bring back glass bottles and really try to disperse into different bags because I know they can get heavy. I always offer to help them but they yell at me about it. Kevin always has a smile and always so polite! I truly keep coming back because of him!
Why are you so awful to people?? You made a heart surgery patient paw through your trash bin TO TAKE OUT TRASH!!! Then you recklessly chased them in your truck to keep them from using the next drop off point. You are the face of your business, if you hate what you do then go work in a back room somewhere. Some people aren't people persons!
I highly recommend coming here when Kevin H is working. He is so friendly, and clearly a hard worker. He helped me grab bags from my car, and was so kind to my son while we waited. Top notch Bills fan. All around seems like a great place. Thank you again Kevin!
Wouldn’t return my bottles here ever again. Some rude old lady refused to pick my bag of bottle up off the ground. They had to be in the car for her to pick them up. She should go pick up a new set of teeth.
When I went they did not have lines painted on their parking lot and their lot was full, so I was not sure where to park so I just parked where there was room. Some crochety old miserable lady yelled at me to “PARK IN A SPACE!!!” in the rudest way possible, even though there are not only no clearly visible lines defining what a “space” is, but I had nowhere else to park. If you’re reading this, either paint lines on your parking lot or don’t verbally abuse people for not knowing where they’re supposed to park because there was NO CLEAR INDICATION OF WHAT A SPACE IS. You’re better off just returning your cans at the grocery store.
They come out to your car and take your bottles and cans. They have really cute dogs that are nice. The staff are quick, clean and kind. The kindness part I think is important. They give back to the community. I think that's important too. We've driven up with a truck full of bottles and cans and they've handled it quickly and easily.

Very rude. A lady working there said I needed to stay in my vehicle and they would come to me when I walked up with my bags, no problem, but when I asked when that would be, she snapped at me saying, “When we get to you!” I asked because there doesn’t seem to be a regulating system/ticket system with the parking and I had to park away from the door. I saw several people come and leave and no one ever came to my car to get my bottles. I waited 10 minutes in the parking lot before posting this and still wasn’t serviced.
Would not recommend.
Excellent service...they come right out to the car and get your bottles. Quick and super easy. Owner is sympathetic to charities and lists many that people can donate their bottle money to; I run one of those charities (10th Chance Animal Rescue) and it's wonderful to receive a check a few times a year! And the store is cute with its country look.
I'd never used their service before. I received direction on what to do from the owner who was outside when I pulled up. She was not welcoming. I can see from other reviews that this is not new.
Three stars because the employee who helped me was helpful and patient with me.
On 3 consecutive visits I was treated rudely. The 1st was because the woman unloading the bags of bottles and cans "thought" they were too heavy and the bags were gonna break... none broke. The 2nd occasion the same woman complains to me that there are holes the bags and they're going to break when she unloads them... none broke. Today the owner comes out yelling that I need to separate cans from bottles because of broken glass... no broken glass. If anyone is gonna use this place make sure to have ur returns spit polished and shined otherwise the Sheera-Man Haters Club is gonna give ya grief!!!
STAY AWAY! There are many other bottle redemption places around here, go literally anywhere else.
Stopped by on Friday 6/10/22 to donate two bags of bottles for charity, as I've been doing since this place opened, and got YELLED AT by the owner (female, blond curly hair; from other posts, I gather she is the owner).
Because my trunk latch sticks, I usually get out of the car and hand the bag(s) of bottles to whoever comes out, and this particular time I was in a bit of a rush on my way to an appointment. As I stepped out of the car, the owner was about to help another car. She noticed me get out, pointing to the sign that says curbside service (note, the signs don't say curbside service is mandatory) and yelled "YOU HAVE TO STAY IN YOUR CAR". At this point, I already had the bags out of my trunk and the trunk was closed. She didn't know about my trunk latch, but I'm not about to explain it to her as she's helping someone else, so I say "okay" and place them on the ground behind my vehicle, getting back in my car. She sees this and yells "And I'm NOT picking the bags off the ground". I put the bottles back in my car and left, never to return.
I don't know who this lady thinks she is or what she has going on in her personal life, but that is no way to talk to customers. Bottles aren't worth much, but if that's how she talks to her own customers, I can't trust she's actually giving this money to charity. I will gladly take my cans and bottles elsewhere. Really looking forward to new ownership taking over, or better yet, what else will move into that building once this pathetic excuse of a business FAILS.
They come to your car and unload for you! You can donate cash from cans/bottles to various organizations right there too! They have a huge list to choose from like animal rescue, girl scouts, various sports teams for kids, and many more. Real nice staff! Good prices on their merch too! Lots of team clothing. They even have cannabis treats for sale! Convenient location on a quieter street corner with a traffic light for easy in/out.
As soon as I pulled in, the owner started yelling at me for getting out of my car and whatever else she was ranting about. She was in a bad mood and was talking trash about the people that come here. They count by hand so it takes a little longer too. I will not be going there again that's for sure. Plenty of other faster and nicer people at other place. Don't go here
Fast service, they come to your car and take your bottles for you. They also have many organizations that you can donate to if you wish. The owner is honest, hardworking and a member of the community. I personally go there for all of my bottle returns.
This place is so wonderful! They come right up to the car due to covid now and get your bags, count it up, and come right back out! They also always ask me if I would like my bag back that carried the cans/bottles. They are so quick and accurate! So very friendly to my kiddos in the back seat as well even while safely at a distance! Wonderful atmosphere. I definitely recommend.
This place is great! There are a couple bottle/can redemption places closer to me but I gladly drive a little further to get the great service at Xtra dime back. Great service and great people. They can do a couple bags super quick or they can do super high volume. Plus, they do great things in the community! Support these guys, they're awesome!!
After 4 tries, finally able to recycle quickly and DONATE to a local NFP! Got to Millersport at 3 p.m. Wed. (only open on Wed. at 1 p.m). & was told they had a robbery the night before. The 2nd stop on Sheridan near NFBlvd has a "Closed for Renovation" paper sign in the window. The 3rd stop on Colvin near Brighton had so many people in line I left. Went back today and they close at 4 p.m. on a Saturday? By chance I drove down Brighton to Englewood and luckily found Xtra Dime Back! In spite of 5 vehicles full of cans I was able to remain in my car and was out of there in 10 minutes. Efficient, pleasant, community minded operation. I'll go back!
I have never used a recycling center before, but now I will never not use one. Xtra Dime Back is wonderfully easy, reimburses generously, and the staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful!

Normally don’t write too many reviews but I stopped in while running some errands. As others have stated, very polite and friendly individuals. Quick-clean and professional . Loved the decor in the store . Unlike any bottle return center I’ve been too.
Decided to go here today because they were still open when I got out of work. The guy working was pleasant. Nice and fast! Definitely will be 'returning ' here from now on!!
Best place I've been to so far. The employees are so friendly and treat you like a person. This lady that took care of me today was so nice and very pleasant!
