Today is April 21st, garbage collection day. Yet there’s garbage still in the can. I checked the schedule to see if I made a mistake but nope, I didn’t. I didn’t see the garbage cans from the other houses, only bottle recycling for tomorrow.
So I have to ask: did everyone else's garbage get collected and mine was ignored? If so, why? Or did everyone put their cans back when they realized the garbage truck wasn’t coming? If so, again, why? Why didn’t they show up? This has happened before on days that weren’t holidays.
I don’t know why this happened but it goes to show there's a major issue in Paterson employees doing their job and not being held accountable by their “superiors” when they don’t. But it’s Paterson, I shouldn’t be surprised.

Paterson recycling is the worst! They didn't pickup on 04/15/2021 or 04/29/2021, yet I bet everyone there gets their paychecks like clockwork. Do your job!!!

My recycle and other neighbors on my street hasnt been picked up. I make sure I take out my recycle the night before pick up. Today is Thursday and still no pick up. I emailed the current administration but no respond. I have pictures of dates that recycle hasnt been picked up and it's a shame. I called on a wednesday they told me someone will pick up recycling on Thursday..NO PICK UP..called again on friday they assured me someone will pick up that day..STILL NO PICK UP..MONDAY morning still NO PICK UP
I spoke to a supervisor in regards to a recycling pick up (I may have mixed the days up: 5+ bags) he assured me he would have someone out the next day to pick them up, very helpful. Very satisfied.
