Good job Advanced Auto Parts! For having great employees! It is refreshing to meet someone as kind as Sharif (apologies if I misspelled). He saw us struggling with our car and was quick to jump in and help. We were there for a new battery and he was happy to swap it out. Of course it got complicated to get the old one out and at many points he could've said "sorry we cant" and instead he went above and beyond to help. He got his hands dirty and didn't hesitate to try whatever it took to make sure we were good. On a hot day the last thing some people want to do is be outside wrestling with a car -especially if you dont have to, but Shariff was kind enough to do it and he deserves to be recognized for that. You can tell he likes his job and he's a genuinely nice guy. This place is lucky to have people like him. Top tier employee 👏

The truth is that they leave something to be desired with the customer service. We only arrived to change the battery of a car and we were trying to remove the battery from the key for about ten minutes and the assistant just stared at us without saying anything or looking for an object to help remove. the battery and we told him okay there we will come back when we can take out the battery and he said ok okay come back it's so tinti which is why they make the truth known customer service is not for these people

Sheriaf was amazing. He installed my battery within minutes and also helped me pick out a few other items I needed.

Young man named Junior was pleasant to work with and made my online order smooth. He installed my wiper blades and had a positive attitude.

Had a simple online order to pick up. Got an email saying it was ready to be picked up. As soon as i said what I was there for the associate told me it's not ready or in stock. Seemed mad that someone would assume that an email saying something was ready for pick up would actually be ready for pick up. Told me, and i quote, "it's not a guarantee an item is in stock, you have to call the store." Really had an attitude for no reason. While all of this is going on, someone who seemed like a more senior employee gave him the item I was there to pick up. He scanned it over and that was that. Totally unprofessional and rude.

Average Advanced Auto Parts Store... not much to say. Picked up a washer fluid without a label, customer service said "no label" he should have offered to get another one. I bring one back with a label, and let them know there are several others without labels. Did not seem very concerned. Today, no one seems to care about the meaning of Customer Service; as they are the representation of the business, its owner and the brand.

The prices over there I don’t know why they me battery for 16$ and after that I find it for 6$ Avery were and the worker there poor in customer service. Expect older lady she was very nice and helpful I think that place need good manger or need help generally don’t go there there other auto parts around

I was visiting Asbury for brunch and my battery died unexpectedly. My AAA tech told me to get a battery ASAP after I got jumped so I stopped at this location before heading home since I am an hour away. Brandon was friendly, quick and efficient. He got me in and out with a new battery within 20 minutes and provided me with great advice. Thank you so much Brandon! And thank you AAP for hiring such great technicians.

In a time where kindness is zero to none in todays word I stumbled upon some! Brandon and Jon helped me out of a real bind a few days ago after I had been running into some trouble regarding my front brakes. I was promptly assisted here and was given all of the tools and assistance regarding part's I could ever need. Brandon and Jon went above and beyond in helping me, and this was at near closing time and I just happened to really luck out with them being able to assist me so thoroughly!! Thank you again fella's from here on out I will only be coming here to this store for any and all auto parts! I live a half hour away but for the hour round trip its worth the drive to be treated with kindness and shot straight! Old school mentality all the way brother!!

Although they did not have what I was looking for I was immediately attended to and had a nice conversation with the very knowledgeable and experienced a guy who was working in the store. When he realized we weren't going to find what I was looking for in store he immediately went for the catalog online to see if he could fulfill my request. A lot of other people would just say "no, we don't have that"and be done with it. Duly impressed.

Pulled into the lot like a damsel in distress! Dead battery and my car wouldn't shift into gear. Jon took his time thinking about what could be wrong. Disconnected the negative lead and let it sit for 10 minutes. Reconnected it and i was on my way!! Great service by a knowledgeable guy who wants to make people happy. Go and visit this place - you'll be glad you did!

I came in with two broken parts on my tail light. Not only did they have a $10 difference in favor for each part here than pep boys and auto zone but, they had exceptional customer service and they were very friendly and helpful and caring. The manager John was in front of house and assisting me. He’s a great guy and was polite to both me and other customers as I observed him. He really wants the best for his location. I’m happy he was there to save the day! He’s a good team leader and very fitting for this position. He’s a corporate guy & hopefully his hard work pays off one day and landS him an even higher position if he wishes to apply! He works well under pressure and doesn’t break a sweat! You’d be happy to have him on your team!

Chris G helped this afternoon. Pleasant and helpful! Cautious with COVID-19 concerns and distance! Helped me select and install the steering wheel cover (it’s a tough thing to do without help) in less than 15 minutes. Rang my purchase and had me on the road in no time. Thank you, Chris! I went to this location twice in the past week to price out a hose for my power steering, as well as purchasing windshield wipers. I also called prior to going and the manager picked up the phone and said the only reason they picked up was because they thought it was their staff calling out for their shift. He proceeded to yell “you need to call back later.” I still went because that was the closest store to me, after I purchased the wipers they said they wouldn’t help me put them on, and the hose piece that was in the system was not in the store. At Auto Zone they assist me with everything I need! This location has the worst costumer service I have ever seen in retail. Don’t go there!

Only auto store in the area that accepts old oil And antifreeze/coolant. Drove from toms river to recycle my old coolant after flushing my cooling system. No auto stores in the toms river area accept old fluids. They were Also very nice here at this location

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! From the moment I called on the phone, Delaney found me the part I needed, was super helpful, told me about the woman the day before who saved $30 dollars by ordering it on the website and getting the 20% discount and then gave me the part number so I could do the same. Went there and Dave put my battery in within minutes of me getting there...he checked everything, my voltage, my alternator, my starter and I was on my way! Thank you Advanced Auto Parts of Neptune!

There were 4 of 5 people in line and only one person working that was having trouble finding what the 1st person in line wanted. Never had a problem at their Shrewsbury store. Needless to say I left...

Great place. Needed two new wipers and it was drizzling rain. The employee actually changed them free of charge. Reminds me of the days when gas station attendants checked under the hood and cleaned your windshield.

Waited over two hours to have a battery that was under warranty tested and exchanged due to being defective. I can't seem to understand why just about everyone who came in the store after me was given priority over me. I will say the employees were polite, otherwise this would be a one star review.
