I can’t get over how good the ribeye was here—easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and so juicy it almost melts in your mouth. The old fashioned I ordered alongside it was fantastic too—smooth, strong, and just right. Honestly, it might even beat Capital Grille and other popular steakhouse chains I’ve been to. Everything about the meal felt spot-on: steak quality, seasoning, temperature, and even the drinks. It’s one of those dinners that just hits all the right notes and makes you feel like you’re treating yourself to something special. If you love a classic steakhouse experience done really, really well, this is definitely a spot to hit up. I left thinking, “Yep, I’m coming back for more of this.”

I’m extremely disappointed with our experience at Prime 94. When we made our 5:30 reservation, we were told we would need to leave by 7:30. That would have been completely understandable, if we were actually seated on time. Instead, we weren’t sat until 7:40. Three members of our party (7 total) arrived about five minutes later, but the delays only got worse from there. It took at least 20 minutes just to place our drink order. The drinks themselves were slow to come out, and then we waited another 45 minutes just to place our appetizer order. The service was consistently delayed throughout the entire meal. As soon as we finished our entrees and placed our dessert order, the manager on duty sent us a text saying we needed to leave because the next party was waiting. We asked our waitress to pack the desserts to go, but she encouraged us to stay since it was two people’s birthdays and she knew we wanted to sing happy birthday. Moments after the desserts arrived, the manager came over, dropped the check, and told us again that we had to leave. When we expressed that we had waited multiple times for drinks and food and that the delays were not caused by us, his response was, “I know my waitress and she’s very fast,” which completely dismissed our concerns. To make matters worse, one person in our party overheard the manager at the host stand asking our waitress if it was “the kitchen’s fault” that we took so long. She responded “no” and said it was our fault because we were already “15 minutes late.” That was simply not true, and it was incredibly unprofessional to speak about guests that way within earshot. Not only was it inaccurate, but it felt disrespectful and dishonest. It’s extremely frustrating to be rushed out of a restaurant, especially during two birthday celebrations, when the timing issues were clearly on the restaurant’s end. The entire night felt disorganized, stressful, and poorly managed. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

We had a reservation and three members out of seven of our party arrived 10 minutes late. Despite this, the service we received was unacceptable. Our waitress referred to us as “kittens,” then took 35 minutes to take our appetizer order, which caused a delay to the rest of the meal. While we understood the delay and were patient, the situation only worsened. When we were later asked if we wanted dessert, we received a text from management telling us we needed to “hurry up.” We asked for our dessert to be packed to go, but our waitress insisted that we eat it in the restaurant. The manager on duty (2/28) then rushed our table out entirely. When we explained what had occurred, he dismissed our concerns, stating, “I know my waitress, and she wouldn’t take that long or ask you to eat dessert in house.” This response showed a complete lack of accountability and respect. As someone who works in the service industry, I cannot imagine treating returning and loyal customers this way. As a result of this experience, Prime 94 has lost my business, as well as the business of my family and six other families who were with us. Save your trouble and go somewhere you and your family will be respected!

I used to rave about this place and recommend all of my friends and family here for celebrations but after tonight I will NOT be recommending them. I made a 5:30 reservation and was told we had to be done by 7:30- interesting but wasn’t a problem. We are usually done quickly as our group has the same order every time. Half of our party arrived at the time of our reservation. We waited for our table to be cleaned off and set up. Some of our party was 10 minutes late. We ordered a round of waters to start. The server took a bit to come over for drink orders after that. Not sure if this was her fault, maybe management for overbooking and giving servers large sections. Regardless, we ordered drinks and then ordered appetizers and entrees at the same time to speed things up/ just in case the kitchen was busy. Everything came out okay, we finished eating and asked for dessert menus as we were celebrating 2 birthdays. I then received a text from the restaurant (manager maybe) that their 7:30 reservation had been waiting (the server said the next party was coming at 8pm and we were fine)- not sure who was lying. I caught our server and said “I just got a text, we will just take the desserts to go”. She told us we were fine. We received dessert and the bill, placed the card in it and waited for them to get it and finish our dessert. The manager (assumed) came over very rudely asking if we were ready to pay because we needed to hurry. He ran the card and proceeded to take his sweet time bringing it back. We had to go to the host stand to get the card and bill to sign it. Food has also seemed to have gone down hill- very little/ no seasoning. We will be taking our business elsewhere- especially for large parties/ celebrations.

Prime 94 Steakhouse completely exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish..perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell they take real pride in the quality of their steaks and ingredients. Every bite was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere was upscale yet comfortable, and the service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was attentive, professional, and made the whole experience feel special. I highly recommend Prime 94 Steakhouse to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I traveled to New Jersey for business last month, snd this Steakhouse ended up being the highlight of the trip. I ate dinner there three times and lunch once during my stay. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the hospitality were all outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection! The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the French onion soup was hands-down the best I've ever had! What really set this place apart was the service. The hospitality was phenomenal from start to finish. Charlie, the bartender, made us feel right at home with great conversations and made sure we always had a Peroni on hand. Andrew, the manager, was attentive and welcoming, ensuring everything was perfect. And Brock was such a stand-up guy - he even took the time to show us where they dry-age their meat, which was really neat to see. If you're anywhere in the area, this place is absolutely worth the visit! Incredible food and even better people. Highly recommend.

Great steak house, with good lobster tails. Quite, in the cut spot. Great for date night

If you’re not a regular, don’t expect prompt or courteous service. When I first walked in, I had to wait to be seated. The maître D asked the bartender if there were any seats available he said no, when the maître D looked over, he said that there was one to see it available. The bartender still said no. I’m guessing that he wanted to save that seat for somebody later found out why. Once I sat down, the bartender walked past me several times before he asked me if I wanted a drink. He never came back and asked me if I wanted to place a food order, the other bartender from the other end of the bar came over and took my food order. Several of the customers that were apparently the bartenders regulars got prompt service. A female came in and sat next to me and he said I’ve been waiting for you. Apparently this is why he didn’t want me to have this seat at the bar, he was trying to hold that seat for her, A seat opened a few minutes before she arrived because the couple that was next to me just left. He took the other customer’s order promptly, even made a free drink for the couple that was sitting next to me. He kept talking to the female customer next to me about his new tattoo about his ex-girlfriend never once asking me if I was ready to order. Yeah, the bartender took my order for two food items, that also took a very long time to arrive 20 minutes after I ordered them . But the final insult is when I placed my order for food and it never arrived. People place their orders after me and receive their orders promptly. I waited for over 45 minutes and both people sitting to the left and right received their orders, and we’re finished, my food still never arrived. They try to say that I ordered something after I placed my order and that caused a delay but still it should not take 45 minutes for in order to be processed. I read the reviews and I’m quite sure a lot of people have a good impression of this place but as of right now I do not the food was OK but the service made it a horrible experience.

I love it here. This became our new favorite steakhouse. The food is delicious! And the atmosphere is very nice.

The food was simply awesome. Far definitely better than Season 52. The steak is absolutely amazing, well seasoned, juicy and with a fine crust. Sides could be bigger to share but overall very good, definitely recommend the truffle fries.

We had steaks and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Server Jorge was top tier. Hosts were attentive and friendly. Has a great atmosphere. My husband had a cappuccino and he said it was delicious. Definitely going back. The food was exceptional. 5/5 ⭐️’s!!!!

The steak was great, the lobster was cooked perfectly tender. The service was very good as well. Wine is also reasonably priced.

My go-to when traveling to New Jersey on business. I’ve been there 6 previous times. This trip, my coworker and I went there 4 days in a row on a 4 day business trip, it was that good! Everyone there from Charlie the bartender to Andrew the Manager were welcoming, genuinely friendly and appreciative of us being there. Special shoutout to Brock, who took us through the kitchen and showed us their dry-aging room. What a great guy. Equal to the hospitality was the food. The NY Strip, French Onion Soup, East & West Coast Oysters, etc were amazing! Sad to say, I almost liked the oysters as much as the steak. Sorry guys. Thanks again Team Prime 94 for the hospitality and awesome food. You’ll be seeing us again soon. Bill

Went last night, and had a great time with the wife and friends. This place has a great vibe, lively and energetic. The service was great, big menu, diverse options, etc. My wife and I split the cast iron shrimp appetizer with pepper flakes in a garlic and lemon white sauce. This was tremendous. She then went with the chicken milanese, which she loved (too big, but no complaints about that). Now for the reason for the 3-star food rating: the 37 oz., 28-day aged, tomahawk ribeye special ($94, I think). Bland, at best. Dry and lean, with no flavor. I kept waiting for it to get better as I approached the center, and it never did. All I could think was, "This is not a PRIME piece of meat." Everything else was great, including what I thought was a great wine list with several attractively-priced options. But when "Prime" is a part of the restaurant's name, sorry but I expect better when i order the mac-daddy steak option off the specials list. Anyone can have an off night, but in my gut, I can't help but feel taken advantage of. Probably wouldn't return.

The prices felt steep for the portion sizes. The lobster roll was about the size of my hand and gone in just three bites. If you’re looking to feel full, the salads seem like a better value. Overall, the food lacked flavor, definitely could use more sauce, and the chips were plain and uninteresting.

Food was amazing .. we had apprises salad past but then my favorite we had steak and veggies everything was perfect .. I had Goran serving us he made me a virgin Bloody Mary and then brought out some deserts cheesecake and chocolate cake too I was in heaven .. will be back with my foodie friends

The food, atmosphere, and host were absolutely amazing. Jay gave us the best service and made proper recommendations from the menu. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Honestly best steak. Perfect temperature and char crust. Been here twice and they perfected it. Also they have west coat oysters. My rating 10/5

Best place we had my parents 40th anniversary here. Food so good clams orgenato stand outs and oysters were the best so fresh ??. I had chicken Marsala was very good. My husband had buffalo chicken wrap very good. My mom had the seafood salad it was massive, and very good as well. My dad said he had the best steak he ever had.

We were here for.my wife's 50th birthday dinner. Ordered a tomahawk steak with baked potatoes. I tell you, it was so good and my wife would not stop singing about it. It was worth every dollar of it. The restaurant was a bit too dark for me though but its all good. I would recommend this place over and over but keep enough money on your card before you go.....?

The service was amazing. Very attentive with drinks and the timing for food. The food was so yummy ESPECIALLY for the price point. 100% recommend to anyone local or traveling through

Superb food. Pretty good attentive service. Thoughtful manager. Only 3 Stars for atmosphere because it is always very bright in there. Like end of night, clean up bright. And the sound system volume and coverage is way too low. Music and sound in restaurants is mainly for camouflage of other's conversations and clinking forks. But still awesome food. Worth the trip.

Came for my fiancee's birthday. From walking in the door, the staff was warm and welcoming. I started with a smoked old fashioned (delicious) and we split the burrata. The porterhouse for two with truffle mashed potatoes and the brussel sprouts with pancetta was our dinner. Great portions and plenty of leftovers! Coffee and dessert rounded out the night. Fabulous from start to finish! We will definitely be back!

Everything we had was excellent! The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the ravioli completely exceeded my expectations—absolutely top notch. The burrata salad is my favorite, and it was delicious. Drinks were great, and we even got a complimentary dessert, which was such a nice touch. The service really stood out—our server was super friendly, and the host didn’t make us wait at all. Even though the place was packed and we didn’t have a reservation, he found us a table right away. The only thing I wish is that the restaurant were a bit bigger, since it’s always so busy. Still, a fantastic dining experience overall! ??

Prime 94 Steakhouse & Grill was pretty amazing. We found it via a Facebook Ad. The dry aged prime rib eye was on point. The price for the quality of meat was a very good value. Paired with truffled mash potatoes, brussel sprouts and creamed spinach… it was a VERY rich dinner. I was starting it crave something pickled/ sour to help offset it. Service was great and it was packed on a Monday night! Go a bit early to minimize your wait and hunting for a parking space ?. I’m going to nitpick on two things. As all the tables were full, the air got a bit warm and humid. For the breadth of desserts they had, i wish more were made in house. Overall a great experience. We would def return.

Came here to celebrate my partners graduation and the staff was super friendly and very accommodating! The drinks were strong but good. The appetizers were great as well! The steaks were huge and filling. The sides were plentiful! Lots to bring home. Lobster Mac and cheese was very creamy. The mashed potatoes were filling and so much for one side!! We skipped dessert but would def go back again!

Enjoyed my first visit here with my husband. We came on a Friday night without reservations. I was surprised that the wait was only about 15min. It was super busy inside, probably because of their happy hour specials ("social hour"). The decor was a rustic and cozy tavern vibe. We ordered the burrata, NY Strip, Filet mignon, truffle mashed potatoes, asparagus au gratin, carrot cake, and molten lava cake. A bread basket is available upon request. Food arrived perfectly prepared and tasted great. My favorite was definitely the truffle mashed potatoes. My Filet had good flavor and was nice and tender. We especially appreciated how hard our server and the rest of the staff was working, pretty sure he had the entire room with several large parties by himself. Our drinks were constantly being refilled and our plates were consistently cleared from our table. A great place for a nice dinner. Would love to return for social hour in the future!
