These guys made a mess and didn't clean it entirely, then they left my cans open in torrential rain downpours so they filled up with water, then they left my stack of spare metal deer fence which is recycling. This is just one example of continued terrible service and unprofessional behavior over the years.

They throw the trash cans anywhere! in front of the driveway so we can't pull in, in front of the mailbox so we can't get our mail ,and sometimes they roll down the street. Slow down and have some respect for the neighborhood.

Outstanding service and reliable. Our driver Ray is a fantastic community member and has been outstanding to my kids.

These guys, who pick up for Suburban Disposal are amazing. Stan and Edgar are the guys, who pick up Cross Keys, (Washington Twp) Gloucester County, NJ. They put the cans back, so as not to block the mail carrier or traffic on this semi-fast paced street.

I manage a 952 Unit 55+ Association in Red Bank NJ, where Suburban Disposal has been handling their trash and recycling hauling for more than a decade now, and we could not be more pleased with the service both on the ground and at their main offices. I highly recommend them!

Suburban recently began servicing my neighborhood in Gloucester County. They have provided reliable service in a dependable manner. My son, who has ASD, enjoys watching the trucks come through every Tuesday morning. When he asked if he could visit their station, it took my husband only one call to make arrangements. They visited the Camden site and were welcomed with open arms. Chris gave them a tour, answered my son’s questions, introduced him to everyone, and demonstrated how to operate a truck. He loved it! So we get timely and quality service with a genuine interest in building relationships with our community.

5 STARS!!!!! I am sending this review to give a big shoutout of two of your employees!!! I left my beach house this morning to run errands. My house is off of 19th Street in Ship Bottom, LBI and caught behind one of your garbage trucks. It was about a 5 minute hold up. I’ll be honest I was a little in a rush but then stopped to say they have a job to do just be patient. I know in this world people don’t get enough compliments so I wanted to take this time to give one. It was storming so bad, it was torrential downpour with the street starting to flood. But these two workers were hustling so hard!!!! It was just the two men running down the street lifting two garbage cans at once while the other ran back to the truck to move it up a few streets. They got the cans houses to the left and then to the right. They were hustling!!!!! It was such an organized and well oiled machine system!!! I was simply amazed in their hard work!!! And while they both were doing such an amazing job, they never stopped once while both being soaking wet!!! 5 Star Service from these two hard working men!!!

I have lived in West Orange for 5 years now and have to say the service from this company continues to get worse. Almost every week the pick up guys will haphazardly pick up SOME of my recycling and leave other items as they “rush” from house to house. However today was the icing on the cake as I watched one worker attempt to pick up my recycling only to be told by another worker to “leave it we gotta go”. And so they did. Five boxes of cardboard left on my curb for me to have to take back inside until next week. Not happening anymore. I contacted West Orange Public Works and the Mayors Office and I told them that from now on, anything Rosselle leaves behind, I will be leaving on the street for the wind to dispose of. Within 35 mins the township sent a pickup truck to grab the items and they told me they will be watching my trash route from now on to see what this company is up to. I’m on Mitchell St in West Orange and it only seems to be my house being targeted for discrimination. Terrible service.

Horrible service! These guys miss my garbage can two out of three times. But yet my neighbors 10 ft away gets picked up. When I call and complain I get the brush off and told they will send a truck for it. And that truck never shows I understand it’s difficult to find good help these days, but you have to have some sort of a functioning brain to ride on the back of a garbage truck. That same brain should be looking around and making sure they picked up everyone’s garbage on the street. This isn’t rocket science! This is why they will never get any tips or holiday gifts from this home Horrible Service!

I had my garbage can on the street the previous night, but it was not picked up at all. In the past they have left some of the garbage bags when I have several out on more than one occasion over the years. I paid it no mind since it was usually winter, and the garbage would not rot. I called to complain since it is warm out and the garbage would rot and stink. However, the "customer service rep" denied that the garbage was not picked up and insulted me more than once. He refused to give his name and hanged up. Classy! I called the town and the person that answered from the DPW said that they have had complaints about the company. I do not recommend that you rent a dumpster from them. When I moved into the house, I replaced the roof and rented a dumpster, and I was charged more than what I was quoted. They never told me that there was a weight limit. I have lived in different towns and states across the country, and never ever had an issue with garbage collection. Update: Service has massively improved, and I am quite satisfied with the current level. If this keeps up, I will have to revise my review entirely and give them a 5-star rating. Keep up the good work!

Your company does a horrible job. I have had garbage sitting in front of our home for weeks now. I watched your personnel just walk by and go to the next house. They are disrespectful throwing trash cans all over the block and trash at 4:37 a.m. It's on my ring monitor. The block looks horrible after the finish.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! These guys are garbage at collecting garbage. They refuse to take my garbage ALL OF THE TIME even when I go out of my way for them. I pay for backyard pickup so I shouldn’t have to do anything to have my trash taken, and yet they still refuse to collect it even when I bring it all the way to the curb for them. No clue what their issue is but they frequently throw my cans to the ground as well when they’re done. This is the worst garbage collection service I’ve ever seen. I pay so much for services that I don’t even receive and frankly that is disgusting. Terrible service and hires people that don’t work.

This company is contracted through our town (West Milford) and they ALWAYS leave half the trash in the can when they pickup. I’ve also had them dump my recycling out in the road and tell me there were incorrect items in the can but DPW confirmed the items were correct for that day. We don’t have a choice which service we use and it sucks our (HIGH) tax dollars go to such a terrible company.

Have missed full trash cans several times. I call Customer Service and they ensure they will be back to pick it up, they never come. Last time I called, they told me “oh well” try us back another time. Really unfortunate when I have a house full of kids with tons of garbage that continues to get missed. They are contracted through our town, such a shame

I get garbage picked up on Tuesday and Fridays oak bergen county haven’t had anyone pick up my garbage since before 4 of July. Garbage truck driver wears black glasses and drives by for the last month. He said he doesn’t get paid enough to pick up garbage that’s heavy. Would it be heavy if he picked it up last month? Had a problem with this company and guy always greedy guy wants money for doing his job this what we pay 15,000 a year for in taxes

This company is my neighborhood garbage pick up. I have lived here in Belleville, NJ for 16 years. The service provided by this company to my household has been extraordinary, even throughout a life threatening crisis, at the height of the pandemic. The weekly collection has been unweathered, in rain, freezing temps, and storms. The gentleman whom have provided us their hands to collect our waste have been a neighborhood friendly face. Servicing my family with a smile and friendly greeting. They are considerate of other vehicles on the road and have moved aside providing me a passage on numerous occasions. I have experienced their curtsy with the return of by bins as well. The pick up is always collected timely and efficiently. I stand by Suburban. Thank you all for outstanding commitment to the community.

This garbage company is horrible. They never picks up all the garbage or picks through the garbage and take what they want to. In Paterson they leave a mess. They block the street on 12th while they're in the liqour store. They have millions of dollar contracts but do the worse job. When they go to the suburbs they don't leave those towns like they do here. I wish I can post pictures.

Unfortunately this Company is contracted through my township. The employees assigned to our area will not put the canisters where they pick them up from, always thrown back to the property next door on either side. This write up is after weekly calls to the company. There should be a supervisor ride behind the trucks

One of your drivers nearly ran my family off the road. It was after a toll between Somers Point and Marmora, when the lanes merge. We didn't even see him coming, but he felt it so important to get in front of us that he nearly hit us and the shoulder to squeeze in between and he screamed something out of his window as he did. Then when he saw me trying to get a picture to let the company know about his reckless behavior he flipped me off, and then smiled at my kids in the back seat and flipped them off too. He seems to be truly mentally unstable and I hope the company actually take this seriously. I see this isn't the only time this issue has happened. I don't see the option to add photos here, but I will include them in my review on Facebook and anywhere else.

I can't say enough about the guys at SD, from Matt C., the driver for us here in Keyport, to Gabe in the office. So professional and hard working, they care to resolve issues right away and respond to inquires quickly. My utmost gratitude goes to Matt C. .... he's a total gem for dealing with our dumpster situation with grace and understanding. Great guy and really cares to do a thorough and courteous job! They have the most incompetent workers of all time. They take trash from curb and throw it into the middle of the street when they're done. This has always been done around Paterson and Clifton by this company. No matter how many times you complain it never changes. They need to educate and train their employees better.

I live and Rumson and a few years ago, this company took over the disposal business from our municipal workers. After having small town services for so long, I expected to be disappointed - but I was so wrong! These guys are amazing! They are very friendly (always smiling and waving) and they are efficient and thorough too. These guys hustle through their routes like no others I've ever seen - sometimes running along side the truck, yet always smiling and friendly! And if kids are in their yard/porch and ask for the truck horn to be honked, they always wave and honk and get claps and smiles galore. The work ethic and professionalism is truly admirable and inspiring! Thanks to the whole crew!!! <3 We appreciate you so much.

UPDATE One of the owners reached out to me via email and text message after this post. He was very helpful and agreed to send me a refund. They also came to pick up their can the same day. He explained that They hired a separate company to do the pick up in my area which is where the issue was. Original post Suburban disposal acquired the company that I was using in freehold New Jersey. They consistently no showed for trash pick up leaving us with an overflow of garbage. We canceled our account with them, but almost 2 months later they continue to charge us for new services, have yet to provide a credit, or pick up their trashcan. we have called them repeatedly but no one ever answers and they do not return phone calls. I’m hoping that they do get back to me eventually so that I can update this review to at least say that they have resolve this matter but in the meantime I will have to dispute these charges with my credit card company.

Had renovations done on my house, noticed they serviced my towns trash so I called them first to ask about containers and options. Spoke to a man named Gabe, amazingly helpful and understanding! He made it as painless in the wallet as possible! These guys deserve 10 stars!

UPDATE: The owner did finally get in touch with me after I left this review. He did have someone drop off not one, but two milk crates a day or two after he reached out! I appreciate that he did contact me, but was disappointed by the way my issue was handled by the employees. **On Wed, Oct 2, two of their guys picked up the paper recycling I left out, as I have for the past three years, twice a month. This time, they took the large plastic milk crate that holds my recycling. After telling me that I was lying about the milk crate, they did find it in the back of the truck with the recycling. They did not return it. Instead, they told me they would “deliver” it to me on Friday. Well Friday has come and gone, I have called and left messages with none returned. They took my property, kept my property, and refuse to return my call. I now consider this theft, as they took it without intending to return it. And the worst part is that there is NO WAY to get in touch with them other then an email (which I hope goes to the right place) or a voicemail. Terrible terrible treatment of a customer.

I see there a lot of bad reviews, but the guys that man the truck working in Point Pleasant Boro are amazing! I had dropped my wallet when getting out of my car the Night before and not sure how it got farther down our street,but our guys saw it and backed up their truck and came and knocked on my door to return it! I was sleeping,but my neighbor saw the whole thing sitting on her porch! She said she would take it and give it to me later and when she did i was humbled and so grateful to them!! I called them two times to have someone pick up my trash. First time dispatcher tells me she will send an email to inform them they missed my trash and would pickup if they were still in the area. Really? Thats not good customer service at all. If this continues, I will definitely change companies!!!
