After reading through multiple reviews, I feel compelled to share that my experience regarding race at this restaurant was not isolated.
There are several reviews from people of color describing the same uncomfortable feeling—being tolerated rather than welcomed. What stands out even more is that when management responds, they consistently avoid addressing the racial aspect of these experiences altogether.
In their replies, the focus is placed on logistics, service style, or how the restaurant operates, but the repeated concern around race is never acknowledged directly. When multiple guests express the same feeling and that part of the feedback is ignored, it starts to feel intentional rather than accidental.
No one is asking for special treatment—just acknowledgment and accountability. Brushing past the racial component sends a clear message that the discomfort of people of color is not a priority.
If you’re not willing to be part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.
Based on my experience and what others have shared, I would strongly advise people of color to think twice before spending their money here. They seem perfectly comfortable taking our money, but noticeably unwilling to address the racial issues that continue to be raised in reviews.
My wife and I went to this restaurant yesterday, and unfortunately, the experience fell well short of what we expected.
The food itself was solid. The sliders were very good, the mozzarella sticks and wings were good, and the skillet cookie dessert was excellent. The canned IPAs were also really good, which is one of the reasons we chose this place in the first place.
However, the overall experience made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
When we walked in, we were greeted by a gentleman who I assume was the owner or manager, and he was pleasant. After that, the experience shifted. Our waitress seemed uninterested from the start. She wasn’t openly disrespectful, but she wasn’t friendly or engaging either. When we asked for suggestions about the wings, she seemed bothered by the question rather than helpful.
For context, during our entire visit, my wife and I were the only Black customers dining there. An Asian woman briefly came in with her newborn, but aside from her—and two staff members who were Black and Hispanic—we were the only visible people of color in the restaurant. I’m sharing this purely for context, not accusation.
When we paid the check, the waitress took it and walked away without saying thank you, have a good day, or anything at all. When we left, no one acknowledged us—not even the same gentleman who greeted us when we arrived.
The best way I can describe the experience is that we felt tolerated, not welcomed. It felt like they were doing us a favor by allowing us to eat there, rather than appreciating our business.
To be clear, no one said or did anything explicitly racist. But my wife and I go out to eat often, we make good money, and we know the difference between a place that wants your business and a place that doesn’t. This was very clearly the latter.
It’s a nice-looking establishment, and if you’re into sports—especially golf—you may enjoy the atmosphere. But based on how we felt the entire time, I personally would not recommend this restaurant to people of color.

We recently visited The Clubhouse for the first time (new to us), and it exceeded our expectations.
The atmosphere is excellent—golf simulators, a family-friendly setup, and multiple high-resolution screens that make it easy to watch any sport. The food was very well executed. The wings were juicy and flavorful, and even the celery stood out for being exceptionally fresh and crisp.
The burger was a highlight—perfectly cooked, juicy, and well seasoned, served on a soft Hawaiian bun with fresh vegetables. The cocktails were balanced and properly portioned, which is always appreciated.
We’ll definitely be coming back often. Great food, great atmosphere, and a very well-run space. Highly recommended.
When I die, I hope this is what heaven is like. Great food, great service, great people, and my same crappy golf…
I have a small league with 16 friends and we go every Wednesday night in the “offseason”. The staff is incredibly attentive and accommodate all of our wacky needs..Ron is on top of his game and there is nothing better than Gianna’s smokey old fashion… Highly recommend!!
Very cool virtual Golf setup but I honestly did not feel welcomed when Iarrived. His body language and facial expressions spoke volumes when I introduced myself.
While it may be hidden, it is an absolute Gem! I had my wife's 50th birthday party at the Clubhouse, and I could not have been happier with my choice of venue.
More importantly, my wife loved the vibe and the decor!
My guests were very impressed, which isn't always easy!

The food was fantastic and the drinks were just as tasty!
The staff working the party were attentive and friendly... A special shout-out to the bartenders... They were great!
I am now planning my daughter's graduation party at the Clubhouse!

Food is decent. Drinks are good but expensive. There is a blonde bartender who has a TERRIBLE attitude and you can tell she doesn’t want to be here. She is hurting business and needs to go. Probably won’t be back.
We hosted my 60th birthday party at The Clubhouse, and it was phenomenal! The room looked incredible—the staff totally nailed our vision for a red carpet, Oscar-like awards celebration. Nick, Rich, and Dawn, along with the entire team, were amazing, catering to our every need and setting up everything perfectly. The food and drinks were terrific, and all our guests had a blast. We picked the front party room, and even with golfers in the back, there was zero interference—our event felt private and special. We highly recommend The Clubhouse for any event. Five stars!
Indoor golf hitting into a screen is only so much fun, but staff stopped by frequently to take drink and/or food orders. Dinner at the bar after was surprisingly good (burger and tater tots). Trivia pursuit was surprisingly fun
Came for a Sunday morning 3 hour golf adventure, and I could not be more pleased with the experience. The ease of use for the golf interface is unmatched, and the golf experience was like I was actually in blustery Scotland dueling mightily with the Road Hole. The staff was so friendly and didn't cut me off after 4 cocktails, for which I was thankful. Don't overdo it though, because they have a rule where if you get too drunk, bad things happen at their hands. And when you book 3 hours, they make sure you know when your time is up. Which is ok, and I just want to live there and play in their sim bays every day forever. The mozzarerlla sticks were sprinkled with a parmesean, parsley dust that was basically flown in from Tuscany. Shrimp Scampi Dumps on point as usual. The waitress was super helpful and was very playful with us. 100/10.
Went to watch the World Series - first time visit . Very impressed . Great space , lots to do especially for sports lovers , TV’s everywhere , cornhole outside , golf and more . Drinks were great - very nice craft beer selection and cocktails were very well made. Totally enjoyed the char-broiled wings . Will for sure go again
This place was awesome! We attended a private event for over 100 people and the space was ideal for a large number of folks.
There were 5+ bays of the golf/games simulator, huge wrap around bar, and plenty of eating. Not to mention a ton of TVs showing all the games.
The food was fantastic, the spicy chicken sliders and prime rib were my favorite. The location is easy to get to with ample parking. Similar to 1776 in downtown Morristown, but more laid back.
It's a fun place for adults..even if you don't do the simulated golf. I had one of the best burgers I've had in a while there. Drinks were good too. Was there on a Friday night and the DJ playing was great. They have weekday specials. It's a must try.
A great place to celebrate my son's birthday! We ordered the Party Tray which was perfect for 4 people. We took a Bay, so we ate and then golfed! Service was great! Even the Chef and Manager came out and asked if everything was to our liking! It is a wonderful place if you just want to wind down from your days work! Many huge TVs if you just want to watch sports and eat and have a drink! Thank you for making our celebration amazing!!!
The girls and I got together to try this new spot out. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in, and the place was nice, and sports bar like with the golf screens. It was super cool! I sat at the bar first and ordered the half bottle of wine, which was good. We then moved to the table, and Paige was our server, and she was nice. I ordered the blackened chicken with a salad. It came out quick, and when I dug in, the salad was good, and the sandwich was ok. It was a little too blackened, I liked the bread it came on, though. This place is cool for some drinks and to watch the game for sure!
The band was great, the beer cold, but the service was terrible. Maybe they're understaffed, but it shouldn't take 45 minutes to get an appetizer. Had to ask the server twice for the food. Then came around to ask how everything was. Seriously? I'm sure it's a fun place, but this was not a good experience.
An amazing place to host a company event. We held our customer appreciation event here and the venue was perfect. The owners were very accommodating. Great mix of food, drinks, ambiance and golf. Everyone had a blast. Definitely would recommend to all corporate events.
It is great to have the ability to enjoy the game of golf in an indoor facility that is as nice as this one. Reservations are recommended. There is plently of space to gather and wait if needed. Service and food was great.
We had our son’s first birthday at The Clubhouse and it was perfect. We had about 65 people and utilized the front room and two bays. The food was excellent and the service was even better. It was a great blend for our guests to use the simulators and mingle and eat in the front room. Rich was responsive, helpful and fantastic to work with during the whole process.
Awesome sports bar with golf simulators. Decent size. Ive been seeing similar places open up all around the state. Reasonably priced for golf. Was pleasantly surprised by the food. I would come back. You don’t need to golf to visit this place. Lots of dining and bar area.

Not just a fun place for golf, food and drinks were "on par" with some of the more expensive watering holes in the area..

The Clubhouse is spectacular. The atmosphere is impressive with TVs everywhere, a really nice bar, lot of tables for eating/drinking, and comfortable couches in the bays. I've golfed here twice now and each time had been an absolute blast. While my golf game can always use room for improvement, what always stands out here is the great service and kindness of the staff. They go the extra mile to make sure everyone's having a good time. The vibes are always at an all time high. It's a hidden gem for a late round of golf, watching a game, and getting drinks with your pals. 10/10
Love this place! Such a fantastic vibe and awesome service. Definitely reserve a bay on the weekend, as it is super packed.. but it really doesn’t matter because the bar and tables are still a great area to be at with the live music or DJ. Food service is fresh and fast. Amanda and Vince are lovely bartenders and we really enjoy seeing them!
We held a party here for about 70 people and had a fabulous time. The space is large and an industrial feel with a fabulous bar.
We chose to have passed appetizers. Pub-style food.... pulled pork and cheeseburger sliders, shrimp cocktail, boneless wings and pretzel knots. Everything was tasty, fresh and attractively arranged and the servers were making sure everyone had an opportunity to eat. Service was excellent. The servers made sure to bring the apps to everyone at the golf bays and took care of everyone quickly at the bar.
All in all, it was a great event.
The ideal man cave!! Good spot for gatherings and a great time. My reason for the 4 stars is that beer was pretty pricey, wings took too long to come out on a Sunday afternoon where occupancy was MAYBE 5%. Bartenders were great, specifically Amanda. Didn't try the virtual golf, but planning on it. Will definitely return on a livelier day.
Went here to watch a game. Not packed which I like. Great environment, huge projector to watch games, prices are reasonable, drinks nicely poured and food was actually the highlight! Tried the wings, lobster mozz sticks, sliders - all delicious. Will definitely be back to rent a golf bay. Highly recommend!
Great spot, the new vibe is amazing. Food was fantastic and the bar is exactly what the place needed. Great place to watch games, the huge projector has a beautiful picture. Definitely recommend checking it out.
