!!UPDATE!! 3/6 My experience with this AutoZone location was truly night and day from my original visit to today. When I first purchased my brakes and rotors, the employee who helped me provided excellent customer service. He was professional, helpful, and made the experience easy. I want to acknowledge that because great service should always be recognized, and I will never take that away from him. Unfortunately, my return visit to correct an issue was a completely different experience. When my mechanic began the work, we realized I had been given the police package instead of the non-police package that my vehicle requires. I returned to the store and explained the situation to Luis ( not the same cashier as original) During the interaction, Luis seemed to think the situation was funny as I observed him laughing. I showed him that the correct vehicle is saved in my AutoZone account and that the receipt showing a different car was clearly an error. I was trying to ask if the transaction could be processed as an exchange so there would be no issues with having to return the items and then repurchase them. Before I could even finish asking my question, Luis had already processed a full return. As someone who manages customer service operations and works with POS systems DAILY, I understand the difference between a return and an exchange and why it matters. I spoke with the manager, who confirmed that since I used a debit card, the transaction should have been able to be handled as an exchange and that I should have been asked how I wanted the transaction processed before anything was completed. This created a completely unnecessary inconvenience that could have been avoided with better communication and attention to the customer. I understand that mistakes happen, but how situations are handled makes all the difference in the overall customer experience. I will never return to this AZ again. 2/28 I had a great experience at AutoZone thanks to Jacob. From the moment he helped me, his customer service stood out. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely willing to help. He made sure I got the right brakes and rotors, carried everything out to my car, and stayed to make sure it all fit properly in my trunk before walking away. I’m a manager myself and employees like Jacob are exactly what every employer should be looking for. The level of ownership, care, and attention he showed, especially in such a short interaction, makes a huge difference in the customer experience. It is the kind of service that brings people back and I truly appreciated the help.

Gets 1 star only due to the fact that it seems that it's always under staffed for the registers it a crime to wait in line for 25 mins to purchase a bottle of transmission fluid other than that it's all right

Tried returning a jack and their shift just broke first shift was very helpful. The second shift the guy That helped me do the refund start making racist comments because I was returning the jack never had a problem with an AutoZone, but after this experience, I’ll never go to the store again and he said he was the manager Very unprofessional

Call they quick to put u on hold without even hearing you out then seem forget about you being g passed on hold. when u go it's alway a long wait place has a few computer to attend the customer but seems like it only be one person working and the other be hiding in the back smh customer service needs to be addressed from management

I’ve Stopped in here a couple times for parts on the way to work. Today Miguel really helps me out. it was pouring rain and I needed a windshield wiper, I was struggling to get the old off and Miguel came out in the pouring rain to help me. Very friendly service, much appreciated. Thank you, Miguel!

I never stop to write reviews, but I had a really great experience and wanted to give Kudos to Angel, who I believe is the assistant manager at this location. I know nothing about cars, and asked if he could give me better information about some of the codes coming up on my dashboard. He diagnosed and went above and beyond explaining the details to me in terms I could follow, on the coldest day of the year. There was another manager there also as eager to help as Angel, but I didn't catch his name, so I am thankful for him as well. They printed out my codes and went through them with me, and gave really helpful suggestions. They made enough of an impact on me to take a second to send a review. I work close by and will certainly suggest this location to anyone in need of car help. Great crew. Thank you Angel!

I can't believe how in this day and age anyone could be so unprofessional in a major retail store. The staff made me feel incompetent and ignorant. I was also asked how much money I had after I requested my engine light to be cleared implying there was a fee for services that are clearly advertised as free. Autozone has definitely lost my business for life after this! Great job gentlemen

I had an incredible experience at AutoZone in Pennsauken, thanks to the store manager Miguel Perez, who went above and beyond to help me. My car battery was’t in an easy spot-it was located under the fuse box- but that didn’t stop him. Without a single complaint or hesitation, he patiently and professionally took the time to replace it himself. He could have easily turned me away or asked me to go elsewhere, but instead, he showed genuine care and commitment to customer service. His calm demeanor, expertise, and willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier. It’s rare to find this level of dedication these days, and I truly left impressed and grateful. Give this man a raise, he is truly an asset to AutoZone!

Date of Visit: May 14, 2025 Location: AutoZone – Pennsauken, NJ My husband had an extremely upsetting experience at this AutoZone today. He stopped in to have an employee run a diagnostic on his truck. Upon entering, there were two African American men working the counter. One of them, who ended up speaking to my husband, treated him horribly simply because he does not speak English. Instead of offering help or at least basic courtesy, the employee was rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful in front of other customers. A customer who barely spoke English himself tried to help with translation, but both employees laughed at them and spoke to them condescendingly. One even made the unprofessional and unnecessary comment, "We don’t go outside on rainy days," implying they wouldn't assist simply due to the weather. This behavior was disgusting, humiliating, and rooted in clear bias. My husband came home hurt and shocked—today, he experienced what it feels like to be treated differently because of language and ethnicity. We live two minutes away and have visited this location many times before, but after today, we will not be returning until corporate addresses the behavior of these employees. Everyone deserves respect—regardless of what language they speak.

Tried to find the blinker but i couldn't find it and when i asked for help the guy just said "its in aisle one" which i checked multiple times but couldn't find the item and when i told him that he just said "it should be there" and just ignored me. Not coming back to this one again unless i absolutely know that they have what im looking for and i know where it is

I'm giving the store 5 stars cause I've been a customer for years and never had an issue prior to this past week . Terry is very HORRIBLE at customer service . MY son was at the store shopping for a brake light and he called me for help cause Terry wouldn't help him with . I asked my son to pass the phone to Terry and I stated " can you just look at his lights to make sure it's the right item and it what he needs , it's his first time in the store and first time buying something for the car , well at least tried to be cause he kept talking over me . Long story short my son left the store frustrated because of Terry's attitude and unprofessionalism. So I end up going to the store and I avoid Terry . As I'm getting help from another associate Terry is arguing with another customer at the register . We already have to be patient in line waiting , but to deal with is attitude and combativeness is ridiculous. Hopefully something is done about his customer service cause I don't want to switch up what store I shop at .

I went to replace a simple turn signal bulb. Very common number for a 2006 chevy impala. Took the employee 25 minutes to locate. Than it was a 2 pack marked for $13 change.. For some reason I was charged $ 20 even. When I asked the employee why the cost he told me he don't know that's what it said in the register. However my receipt said $ 13 + change. Employees scamming customers, cool never shop there again. Your loss my family is big, 38 cars.no purchases will ever be made with you again.

Absolute TRASH customer service and ppl!! I understand hiring ppl of quality is hard, but this is ridiculous. The Spanish girl with the bad attitude and bumps should be more pleasant. She's driving your customers away. As well as the Asian man at the register answering phones. So rude and disrespectful.

The Spanish girl with blonde hair with the glasses is soo rude👎🏼 She wouldn’t let me print out my own receipts….I wanted it emailed to me and she took it upon herself to press receipt … I’m going to make sure I reach out to the regional manager…….. Thanks for the nice response…..but here I am again at your store…..and this time the short Spanish parts manager just did exactly the same thing she did 5 days ago……..he reached over the counter and touched the debit card sreen and it skipped the part where I can change my email……wow this is unbelievable….2 times in one week one of your employees touched the debit card screen that only the customers are supposed to touch……this time I’m calling the corporate office

Potential scammers. I went into buy brake cleaner and the gentleman at the counter let me know that brake fluid and battery terminal protectors were “included” and “free”. He mentioned multiple times how they were “free”. I didn’t even see him ring them up. Well imagine my surprise when I looked at the receipt later that day and found I was charged almost $10 for my “free” items. To top it off, I declined the brake fluid since I have plenty at home but he STILL charged me for it. (And he stressed again it was free) During this whole exchange a coworker was complaining of another worker there who supposedly ordered incorrect parts for numerous customers. I used to work with a business who was supposed to use this AutoZone. For two years and due to the number of issues (inaccurate orders, inability to get anyone on the phone, general rudeness) we decided to use Cherry Hill instead; and we never had any issues. AutoZone: if you monitor these reviews please look into this store. I’m not sure what needs to be done but I can count on one FINGER the amount to times I’ve had a positive interaction at this location. That is over dozens of visits.

I love this place, it gets packed but they work to get the customers in and out. The workers goes up and beyond especially if you need with minor stuff on your car , even help put your battery in. Never complaints , there good in my eyes. Ps: if you get a rewards card that comes in handy ; especially for big purchases. So use it every time you go.

I came in earlier in the day to purchase a battery for my truck. I was greeted by a lovely young lady, Bianca. (Store Manager) She was very warm and welcoming. Also, she was very knowledgeable of the things I needed for my vehicle. Thank for having a manager who is professional, understands customer service & very helpful…..
