Don't let them tell you the scale computer is 'broken'. I got ripped off once I'll go somewhere closer in the future.

100% would recomend to EVERYBODY !!! I've done some "light scrapping" in Camden before after spring cleanings, and some "heavy" scrapping as a favor for a friend, but this time I had to get rid of my entire old HVAC system & various junk metals after a flooded basement and took it all here. They are very pleasant in the office, the guys in the yard are extremely helpful and even helped me sort & separate metals so I got maximum value as scrap. A couple of the guys working the scale & other machines actually took the time to explain to me how to break down appliances and other electronic devices/junk conponents/bicycles/car parts/wiring/electric motors and other stuff to separate into different "classes" of scrap and what's more valuable. I have probably 2 more regular 6 foot pick-up beds worth of scrap "stuff" to go as we continue to clean up from the flood and clean out the garage & shed so everything they taught me will definitely come in handy and insure I get the maximum scrap value, Whereas the other two places "in the area" just told me to drive on a scale, go unload in one spot, drive back on the scale then paid me for "dirty bulk" and paid me a LOT less for a LOT more. It doesn't do much to fix damage but atleast I can recover some of the cost of having to do it !! I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else again.

Went twice people were much friendlier than other places. Seemed fair with prices.

I've been here plenty of times the office lady is just lovely send you to the yard anybody there will help you they are the nicest people around

Are you a junkster? A trash picker? A scrapper? Or just environmentally conscious like me? Take all your unusable metal scraps to Armor. They take everything including aluminum, iron, copper and computers. Every item is sorted then weighed. You'll be given a ticket to take to the main office. You turn in the ticket and will then be paid in cash.

1st timer small scale drop off of mutiple metals went well.. I got in & out feeling good & feeling treated fairly... the guy that weighed the stuff up was fast , fair & efficient.. taught me a qwik lesson on ease of careful thought & work practice . the weight ticket was printed by computer.. the bill for metals purchased was also computer printed & tracked.. they asked 4my photo ID.. which is exactly what they're supposed 2do every time... prices seem fair enough.. walked out with nearly $45 4some aluminum & other metals laying around.. one bronze tank brought nearly $15 .. clean materials pull more $$$ than dirty.. way more on most layers.. so the more metal separation between metals you have with each item class weighed .. the better price you can pull overall.. this appears 2B a straight up & fair outfit.. I highly doubt they are buying any stolen items.. (no1 claimed they did but y'know how ya get that feeling @ some places ..) & that would rub me EXTREMELY wrong... so ... because I expect & respect reputable behaviors & fair customer treatment, I will DEFINITELY use them again! 👍👍👍👍👍😎

Sold them two cats. Price was fair and they are very friendly. Nice to have them around the corner.

Never go here. Quoted $1700 -$2500 for four catalytic converters. Got there and they claimed four of them weren’t cats. Gave $170.

Unprofessional. Was looking forward to work with this company, as we like to use local businesses, but received the run-around for my corporate office to have a box truck come pick up pre-wrapped pallets of material. Even informed this company that we have a team of people in our warehouse to load the truck. Last I heard a response was 1/28, even after sending a follow-up on 2/1 asking for any update on availability.

The people at armor metal we're very helpful and be sorting out my stuff before I went there to check the prices around their prices were the best all in all could have been any better

First time finding a place near Collingswood for steel recycling. Fast and easy. Got a few dollars for some metal. Appears the system is to stay on the scale until someone yells but the staff was super nice in scrap yard terms.

My cousin Johnny Blair turned me on to this place they really care about people they teach you about how to get the most of your money in the scrap business they have great prices and they care.

best crew starting at the top, friends in the yard, scale, and cashier. been going to scrap yards for 20 years. electrian and i now only deal with armor. they teach u how to get the most 4 your metals. 5 star +

ATTENTION ALL PLUMBERS: PLUMBERS BE AWARE: This scrap yard will pick apart your entire load. For example, all non brass HANDLES must be removed from brass valves PRIOR to arriving at the scale. If you arrive to the scale with so much as a 3/8 steel nut on your valve it will count as “honey brass.” Which will then result in a 75% less payout. I find it amazing that the scrap yard expects you to do this. No other scrap has EVER made me do this. I have been scrapping metals from plumbing jobs for over 10 years. Of course I am well aware that the entire valve/piece is not entirely brass but nothing is. So when my 90 lbs of brass was dumped on to the scale and the attendant started to separate what he calls “honey brass” from “brass.” Well I told him I wanted to take all my “honey brass” with me and they can just take the yellow brass. WELL THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING! At this point someone higher up (I believe the brother of the owner) got involved. “Oh calm down man don’t worry about it. Your here all the time? Don’t worry! calm down I’m going to take very good care of you!!” So I let them do their thing. I heard the attendant ask the “manager” what are we going to do? “All yellow brass he said.” So I expected I was getting the yellow brass rate for the entire 90lbs I dumped on the scale, and they were separating for their purposes down the line. Well come to find out when I got my slip 22lbs was paid out at honey brass. Place is ran by complete con-artists. The fact that they guy said he was going to give me yellow brass and DIDNT is the reason I wrote this review. I gladly would of taken my “honey brass” to another scrap yard. He completely robbed me of 22lbs of brass. Not to mention: Their employees don’t even wear company T shirts, none of their employees wear safety gear (hats and vests) LET ALONE company T shirts. So you can’t even tell the difference between the crack head customers & crack head employees. Honestly I felt very cheated after leaving there today. Although this scrap yard is very convenient to my home, today was my last visit to this scam artist.

I REALLY like this scrap yard. They have a nice helpful staff. Most importantly they don't make u feel like a a-hole when u don't know exactly where to go like all the other yards.

They are fast, great service. And are a big help in sorting your scrap, to make your experience worthy of a second trip!

People there are very helpful and nice. Ive been to some other local scrap yards and the people are miserable and ignore you most of the time. Whenever ive got scrap metals I go to Armor

Everything went smoothly, no problems. Great customer service, would definitely recommend.

Very bad experience. Once they arrived, they told us they had to take it back to their yard and let us know what it was worth.... so then they call and say it's not worth enough to pay us anything. It cost them that much to drive out here and take it. We are on a major construction site with a lot of scrap. They lost our business. At least sargent scrap weighs it right here in front of us and pays us cash on the spot.

These guys are like any other scrap joint. All the people I have dealt with there are easy going. They are a good place to get rid of e-waste or anything that's metallic that the trash men won't take.
