I found S&S Webb site to be very deceptive . It states that “ We will pay you take away your scrap steel! It would be a free estimate. When I called and asked about them coming over to give me a free estimate and pay me for my scrap metal he said “ Well there is a $50.00 charge just for coming out! I said how does that work? He said if it’s over $50.00 we will talk money ! This is a scam and deceptive practice ! It does not say anywhere about a $ 50.00 charge just for looking at what you have 🤬
Had to get a junk truck off my lot before a snow storm hit. Every place in the area I called was booked or wouldn't come out to me. SS took my call and immediately set up a dispatch to come grab it. Even with a busy schedule, only took 2 hours to get the scrap. Gave me an extremely fair price too. Very smooth process and 10/10 will request their services again.

This place has some issues.
#1. Weighted up my scrap there vs. Another place and they weighed me 40lbs lighter
#2. Tried to pay we .25cents a lb for metal vs. Other place .65cents.
This place didn't sit well with me after what they wanted to pay me so I decided not to complete transaction.
Problem #3. Myself and there guys unload all metal witch was great, but when things didn't add up I was made to load all metal even though they had a forklift at the ready.
All I'm saying is do you homework and watch out for people that are ready to take advantage of you!
I called 5 different junk removal places in the area...S & S not only gave me the highest offer for my dead car; but they were fast, friendly, and professional -- both on the phone and when they came to haul her away. I'd highly recommend S & S Metals in Londonderry to anyone needing to get rid of a junker -- they'll treat you right!
I have everything great to say about these folks. They have been able to help with every pick up I ever needed. They are always courteous and happy to help or direct me to another business who might help.
Went there on a Saturday at 11:45 am and the gate was closed and locked. We tried calling and no answer. We knew we would be getting ripped off but just wanted to get rid stuff. Extremely annoying and rude that his website indicates he is open until 2 on Saturdays. What an inconsiderate way to run a business.
Showed up 4 hours after they opened and the fat POS said I had to wait for them to clear the scale??! And they tried scamming me out of more expensive stuff I had on top of their terrible prices. 25 minutes later someone comes out to start clearing the scale.. horrible way to run a buisness and treat customers. Left without doing buisness with the scumbags and whent down the street and made double. Don't waist your time with these clowns.
Was offered 50% less than any other scrap yard around for my scraping I don't know how anyone can use them? Literally anyplace else would pay you double anything they offer you. No joke. Call around before going to them you'll see.
