What a wonderful experience! Made an appointment to have some work done on my rear brakes and an oil change. They were able to get the quote to me within 15 minutes of bringing my car back. Once I okayed the work being done, they were able to get the work done within a couple of hours! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely bring the car back here for future work.
I've been getting coupons in the mail from these guys for years and finally decided to give them a shot. I can't recommend them enough. The little flavored coffee machine and fridge full of sodas and water is probably enough on its own to bring me back. But on top of that, the staff were all friendly and helpful, suggested stuff without being pushy, and gave a detailed explanation of what was up with my ride. Also, before the oil change was done, I got a text link to a full maintenance report with stuff that was fine and stuff that wasn't. One thing a can't stand at most oil change places is the high pressure upselling. I want to know if anything is wrong, of course, but I don't want to feel harassed. These guys walked that line perfectly, which is easier said than done. My only complaint is the chairs in the waiting room - totally uncomfortable. But that's very minor in the grand scheme, and I'll deal with it for everything positive that came with the experience.
I was refered to this shop after purchasing a used car in Holland. Since then I have not trusted anyone else to take care of our cars! The entire staff is friendly, patient and responsive to customer needs. I love the inspection reports, communication via text and reasonable and fair pricing. They have loaner cars to rent and they work to get your repairs done in a timely manner!!
Got my tranny leak fixed fast and I am very pleased with the service and care they took with my jeep now I’m ready for summer knowing my issue was solved by Accel they did great thanks y’all
Was greeted with a bunch of smiling faces as I walked in. They team there was very quick and professional. They did recommend a few services on my vehicle, but were not pushy. Will definitely be using Accel Auto for future needs.
Why go anywhere else? They are honest and upfront. They will go the extra mile to make you happy and comfortable. This is probably the best shop in holland, trust them to get it done! They will tell you how serious of an issue you have and be honest about if it should be done or not. I will continue to tell everyone to come here. These are good people.
Was able to get my cr in quickly. Had an exhaust issue and they fixed it nicely. Nothing added I didn’t need, no pressure, suggestions for future maintenance given, super nice folks. I felt it was a fair and thorough experience. Thanks much!
We moved to the area in summer of 2025 and tried a couple of auto repair places in west Michigan before finding Accel. No need to ever look for another place. Accel team members are knowledgeable, personable, and professional. They explain the current work needed and provide any future items to consider along work a time frame and prioritization for the work. Their integrity provides peace of mind for all of our car repairs. Check them out and you too can have the same experience as me!

I bought a battery in August of 2022. My car wouldn't start in January 2026. I called to see if by chance it was still under warranty. It was! I had a 42 month warranty. I was able to get the car there. They checked the battery & it was dead. They were able to get the battery in about an hour & I left shortly there after. Great service & great people!
Accel did an oil change on my vehicle, (second service they did for me). Didn't try to upsell, just good service, and I'll no doubt be back.
At this point I have no problem recommending this shop to others.
Vehicle was looked at, diagnosed, and fixed same day. I feel price was fair. Travis was honest, respectful, timely, answered all my many questions, wasn’t pushy and was very knowledgeable. I would recommend!
I broke down on my way back from Wisconsin on Saturday, the crew got me in right away first thing Monday morning! I wasn’t expecting them to get to my vehicle till the middle of the week but they did an amazing job! I live about 2 hours away and they were so patient and helpful through the whole process! I would 100% recommend this business!

Took vehicle in for an oil change. During their routine inspection, they found something potentially dangerous that needed to be taken care of. They kept the car overnight, and took care of the problem. They gave me an estimate the night before, there were no surprises. I did a nice job. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and a good fit. Look forward to doing business with him in the future.
My jeep quit on me, needing a fuel pump I called them and they got me in before they said they would, kept me informed and gave me options, then did a superb job, they even hooked me up with a loaner so we didn't miss picking up our grandkids...that's great service! Thanks again guys!
Accel is the frst auto service I've used since living in Michigan. I am so grateful to have found such a trusting and friendly place to take my car. Will only be using them from now on. It's so hard to find reliable and fair service for anything things these days but I feel confident I finally found a gem.
I would give a 10 out of 5 if possible. My transmission dropped and I had my car towed to Accel. Derek(owner) was extremely accommodating and checked out my car within a few hours. I was ready to have Accel put in a rebuilt transmission but Derek said that he wanted to make sure there were no other issues. They found out the next day that I had other issues. Derek told me it wasn’t feasible to fix the car. Set me up with a service to buy my car. Let me keep the loaner a few extra days until I bought a new car. Honest and integrity is the way I would describe this outfit!
I agree with all the other reviewers that Accel Auto is AWESOME to work with. They did work on my 20 year old Nissan twice over the summer. First they fixed the A/C system quickly and efficiently. Later in the summer, I thought my transmission was in trouble, but lo, it was just some loud wheel bearings causing the problems. (BTW, stopped at the dealer who quoted me $185 to just diagnose/look at my vehicle.) The guys were so kind during the repair, and as others have noted - they kept me in the loop the whole time. I can't thank them enough and I wholeheartedly recommend them.
Amazing care and communication. Took care of me in record time when I desperately needed help. A full transmission replacement in less than two days. So grateful for them!
This was the 2nd time I've been there with my truck this year got the rear pinion seal and lube. These guys are quick courteous and very informative. I would recommend Accel Auto & Transmission to anyone and everyone who needs work on there vehicle.

First time trying Accel Auto Repair. I saw them on Facebook and thought I'd give them a try and I'm glad I did. Very professional and they know what they're doing which is always a big plus. They gave it a thorough inspection which I was very pleased with. I dropped my truck off in the late evening for appointment. They gave it an inspection and told me what was wrong with it. I agreed to fix it and it was done the next day. Couldn't be happier with their service. I Strongly recommend.
Hi! I'm from Canada and started to bring my vehicles to these guys when they just started out, 20? years ago! Always had top-notch service. I save my work for them when i get to town, b/c I trust them 100%. Wish I had a shop like this nearby.

I landed on this repair shop bottom of the air. My car broke down, literally as I was passing by so I pulled in full of fear and fright. They were able to get me in and out for top dollar I would’ve thought that it was for the price of four wheels, but it was just for one, but overall they saved my life and I got back to my daily activities quickly. They were definitely worth it not looking forward to the bill whenever I get the rest of the work done, but it’s absolutely a truthful review. Great people kind sweet they know they’re worth and they’re fast this isn’t the type of dealership that you want to go to if you are on a budget or if you’re low income, but it’s definitely something expedient and fashionable for those who can hit hard who are soft on time.
