I needed a new battery for my Jeep Wrangler and the assistance that I received from Ryan Rodriguez was above and beyond what I had hoped for. I am still recovering from shoulder surgery and cannot lift out the battery or put in a new one. Ryan was awesome with doing the lifting!

Ryan Rodriguez helped me not only get the right lightbulb for my Brake light/blinker but he came out and installed it for me. He was so kind and helpful. I will definitely bring all of my auto care needs to him. Thank you, Ryan.

I would have given this store Zero stars if it were an option! I've purchased about $1300 in parts from this store within the last couple weeks. I joined their membership online and was supposed to get a 20% discount due to the volume of products and associated cost - but I never got the discount. This was an online purchase with store pick-up availability confirmed. When I arrived at the store however, they did not have the parts I ordered. I've given this store my phone number and personal information multiple times, including instore - direct contact, and online when I joined their online network. But for some reason they cannot find me when I attempt to make an over the counter purchase. The straw that's broken the proverbial camels back was today when I purchased a halogen headlight. The cashier put a grease packet on the counter and said this if for the plug, and started to ring up the purchase. I assumed the grease was complimentary, but as a precaution I asked if it was free? She said "No, but it's only a couple bucks". What!!! How is that okay? Sure it was only a couple bucks, but you Do Not add something to my purchase without asking me first, and providing the cost! Oh, and then she asked me for my phone number, and I gave it to her but she couldn't find me. >>> I'm done with this store <<< This is not how all Autozone stores operate. This seems to be unique to the Fenton branch. Buyer Beware!

Worst autozone ever. Rang me up wrong, grabbed wrong parts, didn’t know monthly sales going on. The girls in there knew nothing, never shopping at this location again. I’ll go out of my way to a different location. 3 seperate visits there, all bad interactions. 3 strikes you’re out. Went to a different location to have the issues fixed. The team at grand blanc location is much friendlier, knowledgeable and willing to actually help you out.

This place has been a joke for years ! Rude employees who are also some of the laziest who don’t care. It’s been this way for years and will be after I die I’m sure . They will not contact you if they can’t complete the same day order you just paid for . Nothing like having to chase down products you have paid for This whole store should just be bulldozed into the ground

front desk lady is very impatient, hung up on me when i wasn’t finished talking didn’t want to give no effort into helping me find a hardened steel flange nut, many other employees there like casey would of stayed on the phone and helped me find a simple hardened steel flange nut july 20th 2025. store says open at 8am onthe building and on google employee sitting in his car and the store is not open

This is a clutch hose bought brand new. Installed and it couldn't keep the fluid in the zone. Once again the zone failed and made it a choir to return. This is why we go to the other guys.

Erica, Ryan and Mike were awesome. It took them literally 2 minutes to help me warranty a battery that I had a receipt for; but under a different phone number. This was after trying to warranty it in two different Autozones in Flint; where I was told I couldn't be helped and go to Fenton where it was bought. I'm glad I did !

I came in at 8:30 and because he had already done the cash drawer I could he said he couldn't process my refund I'm not understanding this because it was before 9:00 unless there's a policy saying they don't process refunds after 8:30 I paid in cash and since I paid in cash I wasn't able to return my item this is ridiculous if it's before 9:00 pmthey should be doing their job they get paid till 9: 00pm so shouldn't they do their job until 9:00 pm

My battery died and I after a quick charge I headed to AutoZone. The nicest guy checked everything out with a machine, then told me I did not need a new battery, just the pins were corroded. He actually took it apart and cleaned them, and sold me a 49 cent pad to keep it from happening again, which he installed. I am totally a new Fan of Auto Zone!

The employees were very helpful. I have a classic car that doesn't have the original motor or transmission. They took the time to make sure the parts matched up. Even though they couldn't just look them up in the computer.

Very polite even with transaction issues! Came in for advice on plugs and headlights, they were very helpful and I came out confident in my choice. Aside from this I was trying to use my $20 store credit + a $10 coupon, the system was not happy. Luckily the employees were happy to assist and eventually we got the problem solved! let there be one more light and 4 more plugs!

I dropped my radiator cap inside motor and it was stuck , wedged in there. tried getting it out finally decided had to get a new one, went to store and Max got it out ! instead of me having to buy new one, he was very friendly helpful and wouldn’t take a tip. He Saved me money . Important. Thanks max

This location has great customer service. Mike was helpful over the phone, so when I arrived I knew exactly which battery to purchase. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by Ryan who already knew why I was coming in. He rang me up and changed out my battery. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend Auto Zone!!!

Always above and beyond with their helpful advice and installations of simple things, like batteries and wipers. Pretty good rewards program. Their staff have saved my hiney many times over the years, when I had issues with my car while on the road. I won't consider going anywhere else.

I’ve always been treated with respect here, the male employees don’t act condescending toward me. Sad, but this is a huge problem at some places like O’Reillys. And the employees seem to actually wear masks here.

I've shopped at this AutoZone for many years. My experience the other day will be my last with them. The lady working was beyond ride to both her coworker I was working with and with me. That was probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I felt really bad for the gentleman employee who was trying to help me out. I wanted to apologize to him for her behavior towards him. When I asked a question her response was "Im not going to argue about this with you if you don't want to buy it here don't" so I didn't and won't be back.

The battery in my vehicle went bad when my daughter and I were in town. I had knee replacement surgery done two weeks ago and I'm in no condition to be wrenching on my car. I called Auto Zone and Holly answered. I explained that what I needed and my situation and without hesitation she got me the part I needed and installed the part for me. Holly truly saved the day for us. You are a great business to deal with and have great employees.

If you know what you need you're going to be fine. If you don't know what you need you need to pray extra hard that you don't get one of the younger staff members. They just don't know their stuff yet I've been there multiple times and had to come back after being given the incorrect part. They're always apologetic and do their best to try and help even when they made a small mistake.
