Called to make aware of stolen precious metals. Refused to receive any identifying photos of stolen material or to be on the look out for it.
Said to call police for report. I had already done that.
I will never use this place and would highly recommend going anywhere else as their prices are below market average anyway
Worst experience ever the amount of hoops you have to jump through for a little bit of scrap money is laughable getting booked into jail for committing a crime would have been less of a process will not be going back
Decent place, good pricing on used metals/drops, good market pricing, overall decent service, as far as some of these negative comments go, most of the time it comes down to the interaction that is provided by the customer, treat people like you wish to be treated, it goes hand in hand with you experience.
Has went down hill these last few years since the new owner and the office lady is very rude and made me leave without my part because I grabbed coolant out a truck in the scrap yard and wanted me to pay for the 1 thirds full jug this was after I was sent back to get a stock number and the stupid papers all say the same thing go to a different place to get parts but the men who work there are cool had no issues with them
I am an older lady, I took some old metal stuff I had laying around the house to scrap dogs. The gentleman out back were very nice and helpful shorting my items to make sure the most out of it. Then the lady's up front at the very clean and organized office, were very pleasant to work with and kind.they even sell tires for vehicles witch I didn't know. they had my size for my jeep went back on pay day & bought them;)highly recommended this scrap;)
Sharp dog's in fenton mi, is the best around I think they always treat me great customer service. I take lots of discounts metals the guys out always try there best at put this in this pile & get more for it always friendly, the ladies up front are always friendly to me always usally have answers for you when you ask about parts out back. Prices are always reasonable on auto parts & items in scrap pile out back or out front. I called up there a few weeks ago n asked about a zero turn mower that was sitting aside , Monica looked into and called me back within 5mins with a very reasonable price, so of course bought it, bottom line is scrap dog's rock , love doing business with them as I do weekly.😎🤑
Paid me #2 price for this clean high grade braided wire. If you value your material go somewhere else. Bad prices and even worse customer service.
Now suspiciously I'm getting spam calls ever since posting this. Must be a coincidence 🤷
The yard guys are friendly and helpful but the girls behind the counter are always rude and short with you. They should be in a different job then customer service if they are always in a bad mood. Find it odd it's the only place in Fenton where you have to talk between bulletproof glass as well.
