I placed an online order for some gaskets and a set of bolts and nuts for my exhaust system to be picked up at this location. It was ready within a few minutes and when I got to the store I was actually greeted by the man at the front counter, which is unusual in my experience. He was very courteous and helpful and went to the back of the store to retrieve my order right away. I signed for the items and was on my way with a thank you to the Advance employee for a job well done.
Went into Advanced auto to drop off some used motor oil. They refused to take the oil because they said the oil container was full. They are required by law to take the oil. They gave me attitude when I pointed that out. They could have put the oil aside till they had the container emptied. They lost my business over this.
Excellent service came out and tested battery and told me it was good after AAA tested it after they jumped me and told me I needed a new one. Thanks again guys
Customer service here is terrible, I’ve returned a couple times and every time have had a bad experience with the employees, rude and not helpful, there’s an auto zone across the street, great service and prices…do your self a favor and just go there
This is not the typical big-box Advanced Auto that you see in the pictures. Little roadside store that looks a bit run down -- have never seen one like this. Service was great and speedy, though! They tested my battery and had me out with a new one (at a good price) before I could finish huffing all the air fresheners.
Just went and there and they were not available until after 12pm to change a battery. They should take down their signs about battery change or put up hours. False advertising.
10am on a Wednesday, went to buy a pack of fuses, $22 for the pack, tried to pay with $100 and Andy the supposed manager says "we JUST opened the registers and can't break that. That guy is the rudest "manager" I've seen. I'd better be real desperate to shop here again.
Good, knowledge staff willing to take a bit of extra time with a customer. They're not paid mechanics, (tho some probably could be), and will help w knowledge if possible.. but no, they don't swap out headlights for you, lol.. their job is to sell you the headlights.. Only knock against Advance would be pricing, imo..
Dylan at this store was the worst help i have ever had. His attitude was awful. He made me feel like i was asking to much for him to do his job. He had no idea what he was talking about. He tried to sell me a whole fan when all i needed was a relay. Also told me it didnt have one.... really!?!? After talking with other people he is known for this. Time to get rid of him.
I have never writen a review before, but this kid sux! Never had a problem before this.
When I called ahead, the girl told me the warehouse had the part and I could pick it up there. Well surprise when I got there they did not have it. So I went 20 miles out of my way for nothing. Will not go there ahain
1) Wasn't sure if I needed a battery for my car, asked if I could return it if I didn't use it.
2) 14 hours later went to return it, store told me to return it at warehouse. Warehouse told me they didn't have enough cash. Young bald employee gave me serious attitude back at the store. Said the receipt was "broken" so I needed an ID to return.
3) Came back next day. Went to return, was given $129.99 because "that's what the computer said" even though my receipt said $161.49. Guy says the computers right and my receipt is wrong. Manager comes over, gives me attitude. Says I'm not allowed to return electronics. Original cashier insisting that I'm only supposed to get 129 back.
Manager figured out I was overcharged in the first place and gave me the full refund.
Not sure why everyone working there has such an attitude. Except the big guy with the beard. He's cool.
Perturbed me enough to write this and never be able to go back in there.
