I dropped off an Amazon package at 10 AM for UPS to pick up at their usual time around 5 pm. At 6:30 pm the package was still not scanned as picked up so I called the store. They said the UPS truck had already come. I asked the person if they could please check to make sure no packages were left by accident. He said he "didn't need to walk all the way over there to see if the UPS driver got them all" ... I said, "What if he missed one/some?" And then asked again if he could please double check that one wasn't missed or put in the wrong bin or something. He said he knew the driver and said he got them all (WITHOUT CHECKING). TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
If you have old printers that you would like to get rid of consider taking it to Staples who will give you 5 dollars worth of store credits for each printer and recycle the printers for you. It took me approximately 10 minutes to turn in 3 printers. This is much more attractive than paying a recycling fee elsewhere! I would suggest calling Staples first to be certain they will exchange your printer. I do not know if they offer this for all printers. My printers were made by Brother and Epson which Staples sells.
The employees in the printing department here are just lovely. I come here to print marketing materials for work occasionally and they’re always friendly and super accommodating and the prints always look perfect.
Products and pricing are good; coupons save some cash; my recent order of 3 ink cartridges to be picked up had 2 of them out of stock so I had to wait for Staples to ship them to me.
Staples is a wonderful store. They have a great assortment of products, and the people working in the store and at the checkouts are always extremely helpful. I really enjoy shopping there.
Staff here is always helpful. One word of advice - if you are looking to purchase any food type items (chips, candy, etc), check the expiration / best by dates. At least 50% of the time, they are past their prime.
The Acton Staples always seems to have what I'm looking for plus the convenience of processing Amazon Returns is a plus. I have been shopping at this location for longer than I can remember and it has always met my needs for small business supplies and services.
The TSA Precheck service is awful. We tried 3 times - 2x we were told the person is out sick (different people on different days) and today were told the "the tablet is down". We had appointments and were given no heads up.
The Acton, MA Staples store is my go-to for anything I need related to office supplies and office furniture. I have always been 100% happy with the help and service I received here, as well as always finding what I needed. Steve in particular is amazing and helped me find the perfect chair, which they then assembled perfecly. Excellent store!
I had problems installing new software. The local Staples service manager provided me with the support I needed and for a very reasonable price. Staples has earned my trust (again).
The Staples store in Acton is well equipped and had everything that I was looking for on recent visits. The staff at the copying and printing section was especially helpful, both in showing me how to use the copy machines and also in doing special printing jobs for me.
Outstanding crew at the store! I came in to fetch a pick-up order. but I was unsure where to go in the store or how to get to the right place. Well, all I had to do was ask one staff member and immediately there was a bunch of staff working together to secure my order and send me on my way. It was great! Thanks everyone!
I was at Staples in Acton yesterday to purchase school supplies. The level of service was exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by the new store manager who handled a pricing issue that came up during my check out with utmost care and respect. It is rare to see this anymore!
Went to Staples to find a Wi-Fi extender. A staff member helped me and explained the difference between each WiFi extender product. I selected the one he recommended. It was so easy to install and it worked immediately..
I really love our staples store in Acton the help is always pleasant. When I have an amazon return I use the discounts offered. They are the best local place to exchange or soda stream co. They often have bottled water on sale great for summertime parties.
Needed to replace an office chair, which was covered by Asurion, at the Acton store. Kuntal saw me walking around the store looking for the furniture area. He offered his assistance and was extremely helpful and professional. He found the chair that I was looking for, offered to have the item assembled for me, explained coverage options and concluded the transaction promptly and efficiently. Great customer service experience. Highest recommendation. 5 Stars!
Print and Marketing services are excellent! The staff ask questions to confirm their understanding of your request, get the job done right and done on time or early, and accurately. Pricing is more reasonable than any other print/marketing company in the area or online.
Every time I have been a customer at this store, the manager Jarrett has been anything BUT customer service oriented. He walks around with a scowl and doesn’t talk to customers with respect… at all. I’m sure nobody at the company will read this or give him a heads up to change his ways but, they definitely should. I’m not going to this store unless I completely have to. I’d hate to see him lose his job so maybe someone should speak to him so he doesn’t.
Office supply store in Acton. Fairly large for a Staples. I was there on a Monday afternoon and it was surprisingly busy. They also have UPS, print services, Amazon returns. I ordered a desk chair online and picked it up there.
My sister and I went to Staples in search of notebooks for the upcoming school year. We weren’t sure where to locate them and immediately Pete offered his assistance. He was helpful, kind, and outgoing. He made the experience very enjoyable. We will definitely be back again!
Spacious store for all stationary, office, printing and shipping needs. Not crowded most of the times and spacious isles. Office furniture and printer accessories are also available. Some items are on sale.
I always have a great experience when I go to this location. I often need to make laminated posters for work, and the staff is very helpful. There is also a very quick turnaround on the product I order.
(Not sure what Carol’s problem is, but perhaps she should try visiting the location herself instead of getting a second-hand account from her child! Apparently a person who has NEVER worked in retail in her life ?)

I have gone to Staples Acton more often recently. Firstly I needed printing services. The gentleman who helped me a couple of times was friendly, responsive, quick, and technically astute.
Each time I was at Staples Acton, there was a friendly someone at the entrance - not pushy but evidently ready to help if needed.
I also recently got two $5 coupons in mail. Because of my recent positive experiences I decided to pop in to try to buy ink for my printer vs hopping on Amazon as I usually do. I think it’s good to use local business if a business earns it. The ink was same price as Amazon except, with my coupon, I got it for $5 less. Again for this visit, everything was perfect - plenty of employees around available if needed, and quick responsive friendly checkout.
Being a teacher, I thought of two items that I needed a few days later and, instead of Amazon shopping, I decided to cash in my last $5 coupon. I quickly found one item I needed, and was beginning to poke around to find a second item that I knew would be tricky to find. Then a smiling employee appeared and asked if I needed help. She lead me to the product area right then. I grabbed and headed to checkout. I noticed that there were a few employees looking around to see if anyone needed help. When I got to the checkout line, two customers were being helped at two open registers. I was the 1st in line. An employee came quickly from another direction and called me to a third register - so no waiting in line for me. Again the prices were competitive and better due to my second $5 coupon. And again I had a quick friendly checkout.
Congratulations to the Staples Acton employees and management. You’ve won over a new customer. Keep up the good work.
