Tried to charge me $195 diagnostic fee to fix an issue with my tailgate. I don’t need you to diagnosis, I just need you to fix it, I have already diagnosed it myself. Scam artists. Additionally, after bringing truck in for routine service, I learned I needed brake pads, calipers, and rotors. That should have been checked at previous service! I will be taking my business elsewhere. Do not recommend.

Issues with my truck were quickly diagnosed, communication of the issues was fantastic and no work was done until explained and approved. . Very accommodating, highly recommend

I purchased a new car from Copeland and after a short time(only had it 10 hours, less than 50 miles.) it ended up having an engine issue. In no way was this the Dealership fault. As soon as we called and informed them of the issue. They had the car towed back to the dealership and were working to resolve the problem. The vehicle unfortunatly needed to be replaced. Copeland provided me with a loaner car from the time it was towed to the point of picking up the replacement. They were professional, empathetic to the problem. The owners to the salesman kept us informed every step of the way. Although it certainly isn't the way you want a new car purchase to go, they worked hard to make things right. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on this problem!

I purchased a 2018 Honda Fit from Colonial Chevrolet in September 2025. I usually avoid buying used cars because I don't like dealing with car problems but the car appeared to be in great shape. Unfortunately, the car suffered from a common, but subtle Honda issue and needed a new VTC actuator. I did not notice this issue while test driving the car because the only symptom is a short-lived rattle sound on a cold startup and I never performed a cold start until I owned the car. Initially, I was very upset because a new VTC actuator is $2000+ job, but Colonial not only quickly fixed the car for me, but they sent it to their sister dealership, Colonial Honda, for the work to be done by trained Honda mechanics. Very happy with the purchase now and would definitely buy another car, new or used, from Colonial Chevrolet. Hailey George, Jim Keefe, and Vincent Bouchard all played a major role in making the purchase a positive experience. Thank you!

Great service. I had an issue with screen and cameras not working. Another dealer tried to fix it for a few years without luck. This dealer just replaced the radio on the second visit. Everything works now.

Colonial Chevrolet of Acton absolutely exceeded my expectations. I brought in my company work truck (2023 Silverado 1500) for service, and from start to finish the experience was superb. My service advisor, Michael Najdi, along with Service Manager Bob Fahey, were outstanding—both extremely friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely committed to helping me address a potential transmission issue. They took the time to walk me through recommendations, even explaining how they could work with General Motors for possible out-of-warranty approvals if needed. The entire service team was impressive; even a service advisor two spots down was incredibly friendly and attentive with her customers. It’s rare to find a dealership where the whole staff radiates that level of customer care. This visit was so positive that I’m seriously considering returning to Colonial Chevrolet when I’m ready to purchase my next vehicle in the coming months. Highly recommended!

Just had a tire plugged there. Nice people outrageous price. $90.00 to plug a tire! Yes, you heard me right! I said plug a tire. I could have bought a new tire for that price! At least they should warn you! Very disappointed! Sheryl Lyko Dracut, Ma.

I recently bought a lightly used vehicle from this dealership and I was less than impressed by how they treat people. Let me start this with saying that I have been in the automotive industry working for dealerships for almost 40 years, and dealing with this place was a blast from the past. The days of playing games, lying, trying to get one over on the customer hoping they don't notice... I am totally shocked that this place thinks they can still operate that way in 2025. During my negotiation, I stated I wanted new tires on the vehicle. In lieu of the tires, the dealer agreed to a $500 further discount off of the vehicle, which I agreed to. I proceeded to go into finance, where I was greeted by this cranky man named Parrish. Parrish instantly started complaining to me that he was upset that I was there because it meant he couldn't go home early. He continued to complain to me about it for several minutes. Can you imagine making a customer feel that way?? I was horrified! He then told me my interest rate and proceeded to pitch a warranty to me, which I declined to purchase. He then brought out my contract with the numbers and the interest rate was higher than what he had just told me initially. He simply told me it is what it is(what actually happened here is, he realized he wasn't making money on me off a warranty sale, so he decided to jack the rate to attempt to make money that way, VERY shady). AND to top it off, the $500 discount wasn't reflected in the numbers. I got up and left at that point. The next day the GM Vin calls to ask why I left and I told him it's because they weren't honoring the discount they promised and he proceeded to gaslight me about the fact that he checked the system and didn't see a discount "the system doesn't lie" he kept saying.. THE SYSTEM IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE PERSON ENTERING THE INFORMATION INTO IT. To top it off, they use the same system I have been using at my dealership for the past 10 years!!! Imagine lying to someone about something they are an expert on? I gave up on trying to get the discount I was promised because $500 isn't worth the aggravation. He then tried to convince me to finance with them again, getting agitated when I refused. I followed through with the purchase and upon receiving the vehicle, the detail job was very mediocre. The vehicle wasn't deodorized, there was kids PB&J stains stuck to the leather, smudges and dust all over the interior. I spent almost 40k on this vehicle.. Unacceptable. This dealership operates like an old school car dealer. They are not transparent, they play games, and they have no dignity. Stay away.

I’m very disappointed with my experience here. I didn’t even have my truck for 24 hours before I had to bring it back because it was delivered with a nail in the tire — something that should have been caught in a proper inspection. Instead of doing the right thing, the dealership chose to replace only one tire. Anyone familiar with standard practices knows you don’t just replace a single tire, as it compromises both safety and performance. I now have to buy three new tires on a truck I just purchased because they couldn’t do the proper thing. On top of that, every dealership I’ve ever purchased from has delivered vehicles with a full tank of gas. This one did not, which just adds to the impression that customer care and attention to detail are not a priority here. To be clear, this review does not reflect the salesperson I worked with. They did everything right, worked hard to find the truck I was looking for, and I was very pleased with their effort. My disappointment is directed at the service department (or whoever handled the inspection) for missing something as obvious as a nail in a tire, and at the decision-making that led to cutting corners by replacing only one tire. Overall, the lack of thorough inspection and cutting corners left me questioning their professionalism and commitment to their customers.

Outstanding dealership! I will never go anywhere else! I have purchased 3 Trucks from them and have always left feeling great. (Cannot say the same for some past dealers I purchased from!) I have had the pleasure of having the same salesman all three times over the years! Jim Mcloughlin is knowledgeable, professional and one of the finest gentleman I have ever met. He follows thru what he says and works for you. Also met John Woodland general manager who was great. I had a great experience purchasing my Chevy Bolt EUV from Colonial. The car was exactly what I was looking for and has been a great ride so far! Joe was a great salesman, who was friendly, honest, and very easy to work with. Even when we discovered the charging cable was defective, he provided me with a new one without any additional cost. We dealt with the salesman Luke, who is very easy to deal with, answered all our questions but best of all there was no sales pressure from him or the sales manager. I have bought many cars in the past, but it was a pleasure doing business with these people and if I need to buy a car again, I definitely will call them first, even though they were the furthest away from my home.

We recently purchased a 2025 Silverado 3500 LTZ at Colonial Chevrolet—my fifth Silverado in 12 years—and from the moment we walked into Colonial dealership, the experience was outstanding compared to any of my previous dealerships. Our salesperson, was friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time and asked questions to assess what we wanted in a vehicle. Notably, there was no high-pressure sales talk, which made us feel at ease and comfortable. After we made the purchase, sitting in our new vehicle, ready to leave the dealership, Joe explained all the options (bells and whistles). With our previous purchases, no salesperson took the time after the deal had been made to explain everything we needed to know. Joe went above and beyond in explaining each system and preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of our investment. This is why we highly recommend Colonial Chevrolet.

Service worked diligently on a problem That many Silverado owners have experienced ( trailer brake service signal). Thru diagnostics and elimination of various “could be “causes… it was determined to be the actual trailer brake controller module. It was ordered and replaced and the nasty reappearing signal disappeared. Colonial Chevy always takes great care of my truck!

Just purchased a new (used) truck from Colonial Chevrolet. Would like to begin by saying that previous vehicle purchases have caused me immense amounts of stress (high pressure optional purchases, bait and switch techniques, not honoring the verbal agreement when it came down to the contract, etc). Safe to say, I wasn't looking forward to having to make this purchase. In any case, my transaction with Colonial couldn't have gone any smoother. Zero stress! My salesman (Jim M) was a very enjoyable man and guided me through this purchase effortlessly. Mike in Finance made things equally simple. Suggestions were made, and if I opted out, there were no strong arm tactics. Even the negotiation with my trade-in went smoothly. While I hope I don't need another vehicle soon, I absolutely would not hesitate for a second to return to Colonial again. Thanks to the entire crew there for running an operation based on kindness and respect rather than high-pressure sales tactics.

This was hands down the easiest and smoothest car buying situation I have ever experienced! There isn’t a better salesperson out there than Joe Pellegrini. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to see Joe if you are looking for a new or used car. After totaling my car, I was in a panicked rush to get into a new one. Joe guided me through the entire process with ease. He was always available, promptly answered my questions, and took care of every detail in a timely way. He even went as far as to straighten out my license plates, help me install my car seats, transfer my bags, and return my rental car for me.
