I purchasem my own parts and wanted them to replace them and just pay for labor, they won't do the work. They will only if they buy the parts and even if you buy the same parts for them. Zero star! Not honest. Stay away.

Good honest mechanic who does good work. Missing one star because they can't do everything, such as mounting tires. I hope they can get to adding that capability someday.

Needed loving attention for a damaged brake light "3rd eye". The complete solution, as they told me, would "cost me more than I'd want to pay" for a car with >200k miles on it. So they did the inexpensive but safe and thorough solution instead, and I couldn't be happier.
A great place to do business! I've gotten my last 2 sets of truck tires there. Their recommendation for tires was right on for my use, and cheaper than at a big box store. Have never been disappointed on service whether it is a quick flat fix or major service. Oh yes, and unlike the dealer you won't get the upsell. They call before spending your money, which has to slow down their work flow - but they care.
So I took my car here for two replacement tires and a wonky front tire that had a slow leak. After two follow up visits to figure out the leak they got it patched up. So they've gotten a ton of business from me for my tires and they're really professional, fairly priced, and do quality work.

I had to replace the starter. I called them and towed the car to their garage. They took in immediately, diagnosed the issue and replaced the starter on the same day. I appreciate the quick service.
These folks are as fair and honest as the day is long, plus they have fixed my Land Rover several times when the dealer could not. This is as good as a local garage can possibly be and far better than 99% of dealerships!
My family exclusively uses Sawyer. We don't trust anybody else anymore, especially the guys nearby this place. We have tried them all and Sawyer is The best. They will do the best they can for what I truly believe is the cheapest they can. Complaints about Overpricing here is totally unfair, and if you were overpriced it's probably because you're a bunghole and deserved it, ahhh, the beauty of employee owned shops

Sawyer Automotive is the greatest! We've been customers for 20 years. They provide both excellent automotive care and advice on what's worth repairing. I appreciate the phone calls from the mechanics to explain the work completed. Denise in the office is like an air traffic controller - she somehow manages to keep it all rolling along!
Sawyer's is the best...I am of a certain age and have dealt with many auto shops, dealers, chains, etc. Car repairs are never easy, especially with today's sophisticated vehicles. But I can always rely on Sawyer's. As others have said, they do no more than is necessary. If there are a few thousand miles left on your brakes, they will tell you. They will call you after they check it out and discuss the repairs with you. Again, as someone else said, you need to make an appointment, but they have always finished for me on the same day I bring it in. THEY DO WORK BETTER THAN THE DEALER AND ANY OTHER SHOPS I HAVE DEALT WITH, AT A FAIR AND REASONABLE PRICE. You owe it to yourself to go to Sawyer's.
As the owner of a finicky 2002 Saab 9-3 having a reputable, cost effective, customer service oriented repair shop is a must. I've found Sawyer Automotive to be all these qualities and more. This independent auto repair shop always calls me first to discuss what they've found so that we can make the best decisions for my vehicle and my wallet. Their honest and straight forward approach has always made me feel confident in their repairs.
The only drawback to their small size is that they are not always available the next day when "emergency repairs" are needed. So you are more likely to get a "we can't see it tomorrow, but we can fit you in x days from now" which is usually within a couple of days. However in their defense they always meet the schedule they have laid out for me. If they say to bring it in on Monday and it'll be finished in the afternoon... it always is.
This is a small business doing great work. You owe it to yourself to try out their services.
Been going to Sawyer for 20 years. They are the best. The most honest place you could bring your car. Always recommend them to anyone looking for a good, decent mechanic.
I've been getting my cars repaired with Sawyers for over 15 years. I've found them to be fast, efficient and best of all focused. They address the problem and fix it, with out adding on hundreds of dollars of extra charges. If the brakes have 5000 miles left on them, they say so instead of just replacing them. I sold an Accord with 274,000 miles on it recently, and it was kept in great shape by these guys.
I really like this garage. Been going for 15 years. When they're finished fixing things, things work. Also had a few times when a little brake adjustment needed to be made and they didn't even charge me.
Sawyer Automotive is a treasure. They are a local, independent repair shop that can fix anything automotive, and do it at a very reasonable cost. They've been doing it for generations. I am a customer with some mechanical ability of my own--but these are truly professionals, and they have my respect and loyalty. Because they've earned it.
