The market itself is great. Stay away from Zooks restaurant!!!!!!! Picture of the “Rueben” they served speaks for itself. Also ordered chicken noodle soup and it was broth. Tuna salad sandwich had barely anything on it as well. I will Say the guy warned me of the soup being brothy and gave me a dollar in quarters back when he served me the take out.

I recent notice something different. I have been a customer here for years. Now, I see that some things are being ring up wrong or wrapped in heavy foil to cause the weight to increase. I got less wings and paid more due to this new practice. I use my scale at home. The foil weighted was a few ozs. It is disappointing. An item that cost 7.50 at the bakery cookies was charged as 7.99.I loved this place, but now I will have to watch the prices. I hope this was just a mistake and not new tactics to earn a little extra.

Best baked goods! Great place to get meat. Love the furniture next door, too.

Great salads , biscuits to die for, cakes like Moma use to make. Market is a little pricey. So far they are worth it. Staff are very warm and friendly!

This place is fabulous! Best produce!! The pretzels are sooo good and Mexican on the Run is a very amazing authentic mexican restaurant. The donuts and bakery is absolutely mind blowing. The stones and jewelry are amazing as well it’s worth coming here and I can’t wait to try more.

Only open a few days a week but they have a variety of really good vendors and 1 sit down Amish style restaurant. I'm always amazed that there is always a line for the donut coffee shop.

Feels like stepping into honest Americana. Amish breads, handmade sausages, and bakery smells that hit you before you even know what you’re hungry for. Sometimes the best move is just taking a slow stroll, letting the place tell you what to eat. No hype, just history and damn good food. One of my favorite places.

I love it here. Their fruits and veggies are higher in price but they last longer than regular grocery stores. The same goes for their meat and cheeses.

I was in absolute bliss in this market. Fresh trimmed meat, baked goods, prepared food, candy, smoothies, coffee and so much more. As a visitor from California I wish they had a store like this in my vicinity, it would be my main market.

Not your typical market. You shop and pay at each department separately. All the food is fresh and looks amazing. Bought a couple pies for Thanksgiving and were the best pies we ever had. Also has a restaurant inside. The food was exceptional. Wish we had a market like this back home. Will definitely be a must visit anytime we are going through the area.

The Dutch Market in Cockeysville is absolutely worth the trip for anyone seeking quality meats, baked goods, and a genuinely lively atmosphere. However, plan your visit strategically if you want to avoid the crowds—or simply embrace the chaos. We arrived around 2:00 PM, and the market was buzzing. The parking lot was definitely congested, making maneuvering a full-sized vehicle a bit of a puzzle. Inside, the market itself was crowded, testament to its popularity, but the energy was infectious. Despite the packed aisles, both the customers and the staff were remarkably friendly. People were courteous while navigating the traffic, and every employee we interacted with—from the deli counter to the bakery—offered a smile and quick, helpful service. The quality of the goods is top-notch, and the friendly interactions made the experience genuinely pleasant. I’m giving it four out of five stars. It would easily earn the full five if the parking lot were larger and easier to maneuver. That minor logistical hurdle aside, this place is a gem, offering delicious food and a welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

Visited on Friday afternoon, which seems to be very busy time to shop. There’s a huge prepared food case upon entry. The pot roast was fair. There’s a milk/dairy section with yogurt, butter and cheese. Many items priced higher than at grocery store. I did not visit the meat section. Visited the bakery section which had a huge assortment of cookies, pies, cakes, doughnuts and other pastries. A positive note about the bakery section is that you can purchase 1/4 of a round cake, 1/2 portion or whole cake. Glad I visited, would visit again for bakery items especially for holidays or other at home occasions like a dinner party, etc.

The best meats I’ve ever had! I live near Laurel and Annapolis, I love the Laurel location but getting in and out is a nightmare; this one has a good selection but no brisket ? however the lunch meats and sausages? Yum! Easy to get in and out, fast friendly service and the nuts when you walk in are amazing!

This Dutch market is one of the best and bigger ones in my opinion. They have a huge selection of hot foods including colossal crab cakes ($20), shrimp cakes, fried chicken ($7.99 per pound), pretzel logs ($3-$6) just to name a few. I liked the ham and cheese and the pepperoni with cheese (minus the sauce, I am allergic). The cinnamon pretzels were not so great, abit tough and skinny. At the bakery, my favorite is their butter pound cake ($10 a loaf)! I'll try their cannolis and triple chocolate cake next visit. The corn bread did not have that secret ingredient that makes them less bitter in aftertaste. They also have a variety of warm candied nuts ($5 each sleeve). The candied cashews are very good! Their caramel popcorn is outstanding and goes for $14 a bag. I wish they'd make caramel covered apples and candied apples like the Laurel Maryland Dutch market does. There is a small restaurant inside, a small Mexican restaurant inside too. They did not look appealing. The seating is decent and will sometimes need a wipe down. I would definitely bring family here or friends. We always spend at least $100 each person because we can't resist all the many offerings and delicious treats! Come here and go home happy!

Love this place! Best eclairs I have ever had and family loves the pumpkin rolls. Great prepared foods, chocolate shop, cooked nuts of variety, and great meal places here too. Worth a stop off of 83 you will be happy you did!

My husband and I love coming here! Delicious food and great prices. Everything is always fresh! We usually go on Saturday and it's packed. You have to get the pretzels!

Wonderful delicious smells hit you as you approach the door!!! I’m pretty sure we gained weight after we walked in. So many yummy finds in the bakery section. We purchase oatmeal cookie whoopie pies that were way better than Little Debbie’s!!! And sinfully delicious pecan sticky buns as well as pretzel bagels and a loaf of pumpernickel bread. We did one lap around then decided to have lunch at the sit down diner Zooks. From there we purchased some cheeses and candies. Finally picked up a colossal crabcake and twice baked potatoes to take home for dinner. And grabbed coffees to go as we left.

What a wonderful experience it was to go into the pennsylvania dutch market. They had a restaurant there and we were able to get the best breakfast I have ever had. There is really so much to see. It is hard to tell you all about it in such a small amount of space. A MUST see place .... you won't regret it. They come down from PA to open Friday, Saturday, & Sundays only ANDdrive back every night!!! Their deli is like none I've ever seen & everyone is kind & helpful.

Very cool place and you can get Al ost anything you can imagine. It looks like the bakery, butcher, and pretzel dogs are the main attraction. Get some warm sweet nuts as you enter.

I LOVE THE AMISH MARKET! You can’t beat the freshness and kind hospitality from the Amish folks. Colossal crab cakes (amazing) to the garlic pickles, this place is my comfort food heaven. And they make beautiful handcrafted furniture!
