Nothing like spending your time waiting for someone to help you, when they aren't evening doing anything. Finally when I was asked if I needed any help the less then polite woman gave me even more attitude when I ask for a specific part. I had the part number and photo from AutoZone's web page, in hopes it would make the process easier, however I received shitty attitude and huffing and puffing. The only plus side was they didn't have it in stock so I took my money elsewhere. In the world of online shopping, customer service is even more important than ever. To the employee in the store, you are not the only shop in town. I will continue to shop else where.

I purchased a windshield wiper online, and when I picked it up, it unfortunately did not match my car just right. Not only was it easy to return, but on top of that, Tyler W. helped me find one that fit perfectly. He installed it for me in the pouring rain without my even asking! I was so impressed by this young man, he deserves a raise!! It is hard to find good customer service, and he really went above and beyond.

Went in for wiper blades and air filters. Found what I needed. Checkout line was long. That cashier said she was off and walked out. Went to self checkout. Needed help to finish sale. The replacement cashier was nasty and tells me I am the cashier. Left everything on the counter and will not return

Manager refused to have an employee install my purchased battery and then refused to install herself. I will no longer go to this store ever again. Manager should be fired.

By far the worst autozone I’ve ever been to. my car battery terminal wore down on my 2017 Hyundai I went there while I was on break from class to change it out thinking they would help me out like my local AutoZones since I’ve never had a problem with it well the older woman who seemed to be the manager proceeded to tell the young man who was ready to help me take out the old on and put the new one in after we take the old one out so I don’t have to pay a core charge because the part is in the parking lot well according to her they don’t do battery charges as it says free battery change on the window and as I’ve had many other locations help me do well I had to call a friend who was in class to come bring me the tools because she wouldn’t rent me the tool I needed to get the wedge out she than told me that I needed to purchase the whole set and that I couldn’t return it after because it was “used” so than I proceeded to wait 15 minutes for my buddy to help me 10 minutes later we had the battery out they offered me no help carrying it out to the car or back into the store than my bolt broke well they yet again wouldn’t let me take the bolts out of the package to see if it all fit together until the older woman wasn’t looking it seems that everyone revolves around this woman who legitimately didn’t do a single thing the whole time I was there the only redeeming factor was the two young gentleman who actually were helpful if I were management I’d take a serious look at the environment of your store because it’s atrocious by far worst AutoZone employee I’ve had to deal with. Thanks for turning a 10 minute stop into a HOUR 10 minutes and me missing class… add insult to injury I did the math with the time they took away from my class would be 110$ in tuition for the 1 and a half so maybe a gift car or something is in order because I can’t get that back I’m especially pissed because my teacher let me go during break and thank god he understood the situation so I wasn’t in any serious trouble but I missed the end of a 4 hour lecture on networking which is basically my entire line of work so thanks to this AutoZone in particular for ruining my day. I already sent a store review off to corporate so I can’t wait to hear the half assed apology I get from this “Manager”

I had a great experience at AutoZone thanks to an incredibly helpful employee Andrey. He is knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I needed. He made the whole process easy and stress-free. Excellent customer service like this is why I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this location!

Horrible establishment to walk into nobody greets you. I asked the gentleman could I bring the battery back? If it doesn’t fit he told me I had to open up my key knob to see if it fits in store. No help, whatsowhere

Recommended the wrong oil and on top of that when I tried to return it said they needed the physical receipt. I’ve returned things many times just giving the card it was purchased with or the phone number on the account. To be honest the guy just seemed lazy.

when I finally was acknowledged today. An older lady was rude & ignored my greeting & on top of that I was deferred to a second employee who then told me to go to another location for a battery testing when I’ve had it done here on multiple occasions

I just bought a 55 Chevy. I've been tuning the carburetor and wanted to get a fuel regulator gauge and fuel line. The young guy that helped me asked what diameter line I needed and how much. So I had him come out and take a look at it. He said that he could cut the lines for me and flare them. Which I didn't even know they did. But suddenly his boss came out and yelled at him to come back into the store like he was goofing off out there with me or something when he was helping me. So I go back in and he's on the register. And it was like the conversation about the fuel lines never happened. So I just bought part of an Edelbrock line and I'll buy the rest on Amazon. It was a weird experience. But it's fine I had to go meet my daughter anyway.

Taylen is an amazing employee here. The past couple of times I’ve had to visit this store Taylen assisted me with my concerns. Taylen is very knowledgeable, professional, and has a wonderful spirit. He always goes above and beyond to resolve my issues or will point me to multiple directions that will be able to resolve my issues for me. He definitely deserves a raise and or promotion.

Update: I've been back often lately to restore an Armada. Jermaine is the man! and hes one of the last greats that talks and interacts with people in the real genuine ill take care of you kind of way. This is what i & we want as frequent consumers. My building Trade requires me to work all week and weekends are for repairs as fast As possible so i want it easy and with respect. AutoZone and Jermaine bringing it all together and getting me to the jobs!$!

Terrible service. The people that work behind the counter here always have attitudes. Act like you’re bothering them since they have to actually work. Go down the street to advanced auto parts. Always a much better experience.

I've gotta say, there's an employee at this store who made my entire WEEK better, not just my day...and I didn't even think to get his name! I feel so dumb now. (He's on the young-ish end of things and has glasses and blonde hair, though, if that helps...ha!) Long story short, I needed a new headlight bulb for my car - not only did he volunteer to come out and inspect the light to tell me which bulb I needed, he also installed it AND since the new one was a returned bulb they couldn't sell again, gave it to me free of charge! This guy is a gem and should be treated as such - I hope the store manager knows what a great guy they have on staff! (And the one other employee I encountered while inside the store was very nice, too!) UPDATE: I just had to say that Paul (I THINK he’s a manager here…?) is absolutely phenomenal as well! This is late in coming (like, 2 months late), but long story short, my mom passed away unexpectedly and I inherited her 2008 van. The wipers needed replacing and they were so insanely old that they practically snapped off when I tried to replace them myself. I went in and practically begged Paul to help me put them on - he was so very kind to me and made me feel like less of a dumb brunette about the whole thing. 😂 He made a stressful day in a rough patch of time better - and I can’t adore him more. Thank you again, Paul, truly!

I had a terrible experience at this location. It took way too long just to get some help, and the staff had an attitude the entire time. When there was minor confusion, instead of helping, they just kept reminding me of the line behind me. There wouldn't be a line if they had just helped me in the first place instead of rambling around. The workers were condescending and disrespectful, making the experience even worse. To make matters worse, I overheard them complaining about a customer who didn't speak English, and one even made a comment about getting a migraine from my situation. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. If this business wants customers to return, they need to hire workers who actually respect their customers and provide decent service. Shoutout to Chuck for ruining my day.

Chad was extremely helpful when I needed assistance checking my engine oil. Not only did he check the level, but offered to add the oil which was needed and very much appreciated. He provided top notch customer service which is often not provided these days. Thank you Chad and Autozone!

THIS LOCATION IS AWESOME AWESOME SERVICE FROM MANAGER BRANDON!! THIS GUY IS AMAZING HE HANDLED A PROBLEM WITH MY STRUTS THAT EVERY STORE IN THE CITY SAID THEY COULDNT HANDLE DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. BRANDON TAKES PRIDE IN HIS STORE AND HIS JOB. THIS STORE IS CLEAN WELL STOCKED AND WELCOMING. THR PARKING LOT WAS CLEAN EVEN DOWN TO THE COMMERCIAL VEHICLE WAS CLEAN. ZERO stars deserved but 1 is the lowest on this scale. AVOID this location. I stopped by to have my car battery, starter and alternator tested and I was treated horribly! They would not remove the air intake off which is how you get to the battery. It is two snaps with a screwdriver and very easy to remove. The two guys started saying they won’t be responsible if they break anything (it would have been hard to break it… what wimps!). I offered to do it myself if they had a screwdriver, one guy said, “I guess I could try to find something.” Then goes inside. The other guy in a back brace was clearly in a horrible mood and was acting like I was complaining when I simply mentioned I had been there a few times in the past to have this tested and no one ever told me they won’t take the air intake off. It’s a plastic piece with two very simple snaps! Then he walked away from me saying “I’m not dealing with someone who is complaining..” I was absolutely shocked because I wasn’t complaining, but rather I was providing a factual statement of the service I had received previously (which was great at those times and why I returned to that store!) Unfortunately, the attitudes I got from not one but TWO employees was HORRIBLE! I do NOT recommend this place! Avoid AutoZone in Cockeysville and their DISGRUNTLED employees!!!

I recently purchased a oil drain plug for my oil pan on my 2006 Saturn ion, before I got in the car after my purchase I noticed the threads on the drain plug were damaged. I took it back in to the store manager who did the initial transaction and he noticed that I have the wrong oil drain plug the one that he gave me. So he switched it out to what he thought was the correct one. I went home change my oil and noticed that I still had the wrong plug so I returned the plug to the store and an associate told me that I already returned the plug which I did not so I spoke to the store manager again and he told me that they have to give me a store credit because I already returned the plug which I did not. The store manager gives me the cash, and I asked what was the problem why did this transaction take so long? He said, because I already returned the plug which he full well know that I did not return the plug. He exchanged it if he returned it, It was without my knowledge. This store manager has poor customer service. I left the store still with no drain plug and a store manager who thinks I’m just trying to get away with something.

The staff at the Cockeysville Auto one has always been very helpful, no matter what the situation or question has been. Their prices are reasonable, plus you get expert advice to answer any questions you may have. Felt the need to purchase my own code reader as I have a Jeep and the check engine light is constantly on 🙂
