I had a great experience at this Advance Auto Parts location. I had to replace my car battery and they had what I needed in stock and they installed it for free. The whole process from purchase to implementation took less than 15 minutes. This store offered great customer service. There is free parking in the parking lot located outside the store.

So, after several visits over the last year or so, I’ve noticed the people there are actually very friendly and helpful. Quick to check availability of parts at nearby locations if they don’t have it there, etc. Also, I was just curious about a part and the person there was enthusiastic about providing information.

I had a wonderful experience at Advance Auto Parts in Pasadena. The front desk staff were very friendly, and Aidan, who assisted with the sale and installation of my car battery, provided exceptional service! My old battery had significant corrosion, but Aidan carefully and patiently removed it all before securely installing the new battery. I was impressed by his dedication and hard work. I’m extremely happy and grateful for his services! I will definitely recommend this shop to everyone I know!

Extremely limited selection of all filter types. They seemed to be missing many standard filters, especially for SUVs and cars. There was a plethora of large truck filters and 20,000 mile extended filters for trucks.

I had a great experience. Talked to my son, did some research online concerning a replacement battery. The staff was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. I did price check and compared to other vendors they were the best.

The service is okay. My only issue is with the company. I was advertised a rebate on buying a twin pack of headlights. Bought two twin packs, one for me, one for my wife. Only to noticed the receipt saying one rebate per household (after the sale). The salesperson was also under the impression I would be getting two rebates. It was just an inconvenience, I would have bought a single pack for my car, as I only needed one changed. Lesson learned. * Pay attention to the fine print, or you might wind up spending and extra money without getting the deals loosely advertised to you. *

I experienced one of the worst, rude, unprofessional transaction here with Emily C. The product I wanted to purchase was on a top shelf needing a stepping ladder. Unprovoked I asked Emily if she could get them thinking it's against the customer using the ladder. Her bedside manners were horrible and rude. This store should really do something regarding her being professional and nice to the customers.

I was in urgent need of windshield wipers last Sunday. The driver side broke off in my hand after going thru the car wash. The employee was very helpful as I wanted them replaced with something decent...not the dealer junk. He advised me and explained the differences. Then he put them on for me. Great customer service!

This place is my go-to parts store! The people are helpful and have good attitudes! They always have what I need which is really awesome because I have an old 97 dodge ram. Another plus is that the shelves are always stocked as well!!!

Gave the cashier the correct information for a tire sensor which cost $57. Turns out it was the incorrect sensor. I eventually went to Mr. tires who gave me the correct sensors........Long story short, even with the receipt, Advance Auto part would not refund or give a store credit because the sale was more than 45 days........this is poor customer service and bad management because the error was made by the Advance Auto sales person.

I use the on-line then pick up service. It works great. Gave it a 4 because on a couple of times employees have by past me while I was in line trying to check out. I will say that is rare so they will continue to get my business.

As a retired career military officer, I wanted to share my outstanding experience with this store particularly for the assistance I received from Kirby at this store location. I had my hub break on my truck which rendered my truck inoperable. It was late afternoon and all three dealers and all other local auto parts stores could not get the part for at least a day Kirby provided direct customer assistance by asking me several questions to ensure the specialty part was correct a fit for my vehicle. Although the part is expensive in general, I was able to order online with the assistance of Kirby since he provided the part number and I typed the number in the website search bar and it came right up. Easy pick up and got my truck operational the same evening. When customers are stuck or having to repair their vehicles it is stressful and ma y times managers and other parts store specialists are not aware that customers may be experiencing a stressful situation with their repairs or broken vehicles. Kirby on the other hand treated me with dignity, respect and provided one of the best auto parts experiences I have had in a long time. His friendy personality, positivity and expertise is greatly appreciated. Thank you Kirby!!

I have never visited this location prior to today. After I return tomorrow to speak with the manager, I likely won't be back again. For 7 years I have gotten 100% of my car parts from Advance. Every brake, rotor, caliper, and wiper blade since 2012. I went to return brand new rear brakes that I ended up not needing and the cashier lied and said they looked installed. If I installed them, they'd be on my car. I wouldn't pay $150 for a brake job and then undo it. That doesn't make common sense. I haven't returned any of the other SEVERAL sets of brake pads I've purchased because they were put onto my cars. These were not. I will absolutely contact customer care when they open and will certainly write to the corporate address, if necessary. Very poor, dishonest service. Update: After speaking with customer care and the manager, I was able to return the item. I wasn't necessarily fond of the conversation I had with him beforehand; but he was pleasant in person overall. I'd still prefer to find another location and use this as a backup; even though this one is 5 mins from my house.

I rarely ever buy anything here but they do have an oil recycling container in the back of the store and I come here after I change the oil in my vehicles. It's nice having a place to do it and since this location is near a load of other shops and stores, it's convenient to go to other place before or after your trip here to drop off used oil. Please make sure that you bring it in containers that you can bring back home. They don't allow you to throw away used oil containers at their store.

This store always has what I'm looking for and they always have someone readily available to locate it for me if I cannot. They also replace things like windshield wipers which is a good thing because I'd have to hire somebody to do it otherwise. I appreciate there Quick Service and the long list of items in the store.

i bought 3 different multi packs of shift rod bushings because they couldn't tell me what ones i needed when home open the first pack and none of them fit so i open the second pack and one fit so i went back to advance in Pasadena MD to return the open unused pack and the one i never open and Phill the manager said i couldn't return the open pack even thoe none were missing, the package wasn't all tore up, I had the receipt, and it was within a weeks time from when i bought it. i could under stand if it was a electrical part or a part that was installed but it was neither of these. it was a multi pack that had multi different sizes and shapes of bushings that you would of had to take out of the package and check to see if they fit. this is crazy so according to Phill the manager if you buy anything and open the pack you cant return it so if i buy brakes and there is 2 different options and i chose the wrong ones and open the box to see if they are right i cant return them. I know this cant be Advance Auto Parts Policy if it is I have to stop doing business with them immediately. And when i told Phill The Manager i was going to call corporate and see if this is true he said go ahead like he didn't care about giving good customer service

Literally just left the place and actually thankful I didnt do business here. Long story short my battery kept failing me and I tried to buy one from here this evening right before close. I called to make sure they had one about 15 minutes before close and headed that way. I specifically asked the lady if they would still take me if i was there a minute or so after and she said they couldn't but as long as i got there before 9 they would. 8:58 I arrive to the lights turned off and the doors locked, I knocked thinking she might still take me since she told me on the phone she would. The manager and employee looked at me, waved, started laughing together and then just shrugged there shoulders at me. Not even a ,"sorry we can't take you". They just laughed at me for trying to get there before they closed. Dont waste your time on this location, not my first bad experience here but will definitely be my last.

Came to the AAP for ignition coils for my car. They had them in stock but different brands. The gentleman helping me assured me that dispite the brand difference, they should work just fine (my thought was same). Purchased the items and installed them myself. Vehicle is running fine now. The folks at the AAP are always helpful and professional.

I ordered my parts online and was able to pick them up within the hour. The employees were helpful and there was no wait in line. The only problem I had was that they didn't sell a small part I needed as a single piece so I had to buy a pack of 4. It wasn't a big deal, but a slight inconvenience.

This is a pretty decent place to go if you have any questions about your automobile Kama regardless of the make and model they always know exactly what you need, and where to find it in the store. They usually bother to take you directly to it in person.

Out of the employees that work there, I've dealt with most of them; most of their knowledge doesn't extend past the common stuff (alternator, battery, power steering). The only reason I go there is for shelf items (paints, oil, coolant). The last time I went I was wanting a 2000 VW Jetta oil dipstick tube (this isn't the first time something like this happened). The dude just stared at me and told me they don't, and will never carry this part, without even looking to see if he had it! About a week later I tried the one is Brooklyn Park. The kind man looked it up and had 5 in stock. Before planning on going to this Pasadena store, think about extending your trip by 10-15 minutes and go to Auto Zone or the Advance in Brooklyn Park. I label this Pasadena store inexperienced and lazy. It used to helpful back in 2012, oh how the times have changed.

Brighten up the store. The lighting is terrible and shelves are too high. Have the manager use a calendar and weather forecast to write a schedule. Beautiful Sunday in April and the manager left two poor girls to work with at least fifteen customers in line. Not fair to them and definitely not fair to me. Come on Advance/Carquest your better than that. Don't make me go back to Pep Boys!
