This is the best auto body shop around! Stacey was so kind, and so were the rest of the ladies at reception. Bar Harbor fixed the scratch on my 2026 Civic to the point that I can’t tell it was there at all! I will absolutely come back to Bar Harbor if I need auto body work done again, Lord forbid. However, it would be a delight to work with them again! These guys are my go-to recommendation for auto body work!

Mike was great, he definitely does his best to make sure his customers never pay anything extra. My front bumper came out on one side and I was expecting a big estimate & wait time for repair or replacement. He took a look at it and was able to clip things back into place himself in a few minutes, no hassle. Perfect temporary fix I needed to get back on the road. Bumper is all good now and the only damage was part of the splash shield underneath which he gave me an estimated cost for but he wasn't pushing to get any extra work done if it wasn't necessary, just looking out for his customers.

Top notch service. The transparency was incredible throughout the entire process. Brought my car here for an auto insurance claim. Mike had the insurance representative come back to the shop on more than one account to repeat their appraisal to ensure I was paying little to nothing out of pocket. He fought tooth and nail for me. I had never experienced that before. I'm used to auto body shops just taking what the insurance company gives them and running with it and telling you what you owe. Not Mike or the team at Bar Harbor. I was included on all communications to the insurance representative and updated throughout the entire process. They even polished up my car for pickup and gave me an awesome goodie bag to care for my car! The service is unmatched. They care about you as a person and definitely gives a nice family feel. Greatly run business!

Bar Harbor Auto Body is the best, would definitely recommend them. They made my vehicle look brand new!! They keep you updated with the progress of the repairs. The entire staff and owner are all very nice!! I couldn't be happier!!

A friend of mine had an accident near Glen Burnie, unfortunately, but luckily we were near Bar Harbor Auto. They were responsive by phone and gave us a last-minute appointment. When we arrived, the office staff were so kind and even lent us umbrellas so that we could unload in the rain. The owner, Mike, came out right away to look over the car. He was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job for us. Neither my friend nor I know a lot about cars, but Mike explained everything clearly and earned our trust. Truly above-and-beyond service. Can't recommend highly enough!!! We live a little ways away, but I would absolutely return to Bar Harbor for auto work in the future.

Outstanding work and service! Tackled major paint issues likely from artillery fungus in addition to some other body damage repair. In addition had them do the headlight restoration and ceramic coat. Looks like new! In addition to excellent work they are so pleasant and efficient. Can't recommend them more highly.

Mike (owner) and Stacey (front desk manager) were both very upfront and professional in their dealings with my side door repairs. Their estimates on work needed vs. work not worth my money (I have an older car) held true and the job was completed on time. I would highly recommend Bar Harbor for auto body repair.

I ran through paint in my mustang. Called another shop who refused to touch it . I was freaked out. I called Bar Harbor and Stacey helped me through and got me in immediately, the same day! We did not want to go through insurance and Mike was wonderful to deal with and explained exactly what the process to remove it was. His team did a wonderful job getting it off and clean and detailed for me. All at a price that was more than reasonable . Car looks amazing. I will recommend them to anyone in need.

I took my vehicle to Bar Harbor Auto Body in Pasadena, MD after an accident. Mike the owner is a very knowledgeable, professional, polite individual. He walked me through insurance claims and not only gave me a preliminary estimate, but explained it to me. His employees Stacey and Gabby are also very professional and polite. They all had lots of patience not only with me but also with dealing with an insurance company who was not very cooperative. We took our vehicle to Bar Harbor to prepare it for sale. It was prompt kind service, great communication, and the vehicle looked almost new inside and out despite it being 7 years old. They are a Ford partnership, which was also great to know! We sold that Ford and bought another- definitely will return for any needs.

The Bar Harbor Auto family went out of their way to take great care of me and work with me around a rough schedule. My vehicle looked brand new when they were done with it. I’m new to the area and consider myself lucky that someone else recommended them to me after my accident.

Above and beyond is not even good enough to describe how great this place and its people were to me. The owner of the shop, Mike, helped me through my entire process, including with things that were entirely outside the shop’s responsibility. He helped me feel confident in what the outcome would be after I had two people hit me back to back. They did all the work the right way with no shortcuts and made my car look brand new again. It’s the only place I’ll go now and in the future.

I had 2 quotes. One from a national franchise and the other from Bar Harbor Auto Body. While the nationally owned company had a lower quote, it was only a $50 difference. I chose Bar Harbor because it was independently owned, and I wanted to support a small business. There was a small missing understanding, but I paid as the job was complete and left. The next day, the owner did some investigating. He called me to offer an opportunity to fix the understanding. He was humble and genuine with regard to his findings. As a customer, I appreciate those who know how to be human with their clients, and that business is more than just a transactional interaction. Thank you.

After being rear-ended, I took my car to Bar Harbor for an estimate on repairs. My car mechanically has not been in the best shape even prior to the accident. Mike and Stacey at Bar Harbor spent so much time really helping me through the entire process. After an evaluation and several discussions, Mike let me know the car probably isn't worth the repairs. I can't say enough how refreshing it is to have a nice honest company who will give you the best advice even at the cost of them losing potential business. Due to their honesty, transparency, knowledge, friendliness, and thorough and quick communication, they will be my go-to autobody shop in the future if the need again arises. As a single woman (who is on a budget and doesn't know much about cars), I was so grateful for the help and guidance, I can't say enough good things.

I did not have the opportunity to use Bar Harbor for a vehicle repair-YET, but I absolutely will in the future. I called them for help regarding a vehicle that we needed to have repaired and the customer service was the best I have ever experienced. The 5 stars are well earned. We have an S2000 that was in need of a refresh. I stopped by to talk about what it would take. Mike and his staff were very helpful, explaining what needed to be done. They were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about automobiles. The car needed a paint job, the gaps tightened and some body clips replaced. Mike and his staff (thanks Austin!) took great care of us and the car throughout the process. When we went to pick it up we were stunned. It was as good as new! They even took the time to explain all the things that were done, such as body panels, doors and bumpers removed and refinished, and panel gaps adjusted. They even made suggestions for the care and maintenance to help prolong the appearance of the car. Unequivocally five stars - for customer service, quality of work. I would highly recommend Bar Harbor for anyone in need of auto body services.

I’ve known mike and all the guys for a few years. I finally decided to treat myself and buy a new cowl hood for my truck. Mike made the entire process so easy for me. He allowed me to get the hood directly shipped to his shop and informed when it arrived and that it was not damaged. My truck is my pride and joy and I knew I could only trust one shop to do everything the correct way and that they did. Mike kept me up to date every step of the way and sent me pictures to keep me up to date on how it was going. The painter Steve is incredible at what he does and takes his time to make sure it’s perfect for the customer. The body man Austin did great work fitting the hood and repairing the fenders. All the body lines look perfect. Looks just like it came from the factory. Austin even went the extra step and called me and went over the entire estimate with me and told me the final price to make sure I was happy with everything. I’ve been around a lot of body shops over the years and bar harbor is definitely one of my favorite shops. If your looking for a shop that you can trust and that does excellent work trust me take it to bar harbor.

I had my windshield replaced at Bar Harbor Auto Body. Mike and Chris were outstanding and very accommodating. They even gave me a ride to work after I dropped off my car! They went above and beyond each step of the way and delivered my car freshly washed and in great condition. And, of course, the work was perfectly done. Highly recommended!

WOW!!!!!!!!! I really can't say anymore than that! These guys are superstars and true professionals who take on the headaches that insurance claims bring in order to ensure the customer is #1! After my car was damaged in an accident, I figured it was a great opportunity to have some upgraded parts installed at the same time and I would just pay the difference. Bar Harbor not only made it happen, but did it for less than a $30 difference from the original parts. I was so grateful b/c I didn't realize the logistics and paperwork that went on behind the scenes to make it happen given the insurance company's repair constraints. It was completely transparent to me, which was awesome. Again, Bar Harbor works for the customer! While my car was there, I also had them do an oil change as well. Figured, two birds, one stone. THEY CAN DO IT ALL! Once my car was complete, I COULD NOT believe the results! Better than new! Car is beautiful! And they even took the initiative to clean the inside of my car as part of the repair services while it was there! Down to earth people, who truly love what they do! Even the owner called me personally to give me an update on finalizing the work - wow! I CANNOT overstate the quality of service or work you get from Bar Harbor.
