Terrible company, broke my car’s window and tries to claim it was broken before towing. Then they provided a picture of the broken glass that clearly shows by the reflection of the car’s paint and window itself that it was captured at their location, and NOT before they put the car on the tow truck. Shame on them for lying and trying to deceive others. SMH!!! Ha! Typical reply answer from a liar below… the truth shall set you free buddy!

Pointless company. Pointless people. Trash 0 stars if I could give them zero. I pay for parking had someone in my parking spot for over 5 hours was told by the rental office to call to have them towed. The office even called them no one ever came nobody communicated. When you call they don’t answer. Dumbest tow truck company ever.

apparently cassandra and christina has an attitude when it comes to people of color threatening to call the police and said you need proof of insurance to say it’s you’re vehicle even though the license was presented and so was the $375 they charged for 1hr. the customer support was AWFUL and didn’t want to take accountability and hung up on plenty of times just for clarity. and their manager is “buddy” if they’re telling the truth. just an awful place and terrible customer service

Great people helped me get my car even when it was a difficult situation. Yes they only take cash but they have an atm. The fee is higher for county tows. Everyone here was understanding and helped me as much as they could.

Absolutely terrible experience. Our neighborhood was getting parking spaces redone and we were told to move our cars, so we parked directly in front of our own house—something we’ve done many times before. The car was there for maybe 10 minutes while we got ready to leave, and by the time we stepped outside, it was gone. When we got to the towing place less than an hour later, the staff was unbelievably rude. We were simply trying to ask questions and the woman at the front desk responded with attitude the entire time. On top of that, they are cash-only, which is extremely inconvenient in 2025. Who carries around hundreds of dollars in cash? And of course, they have an ATM on-site that charges almost a $5 fee. The total cost? $370 for a tow they barely held for an hour. Absolutely ridiculous. After experiencing it ourselves, I can confirm all the negative Google reviews are accurate. This company is unprofessional, rude, and charges outrageous fees. Avoid them if you can.

This company is careless and will make everything inconvenient. I live in Elizabeth Landing. Our parking lot was being redone. I wasn't aware of the work happening early that morning. I seen the tow trucks circling around but I didn't think anything of it because other cars were there but they had a chance to move their cars. Anyway, the guy told me that I had to pay 210 in cash only to get ny car off the hook of the tow truck. I didn't have the cash. Then they told me I had to pay 370 in cash to pick it up from the towing company. They do not accept card or phone payments on the spot. That right there is a set up because who keeps cash on them during these day and times. I went to this place to pay the fee to get my car back. They will ask for your registration, license, insurance card to get the car back. They have an ATM in the office that charges 4.75 for a convience fee. When I tried to withdraw cash from the machine, it went out of service after I was only able to take out 260 max. I told the lady at the front window what happened. She had the nerve to say that it was my card or my back that caused the machine to stop working. I have capitol one for my bank and was able to withdraw cash anywhere. I told the lady it is ya'll broke down machine and that they need to change the machine. I think they purpose keep a certain amount of cash in there to make it inconvenient for customers. I had to go to another store across the street to withdraw the rest of the money. When it was time to get my car from the lot, I wasn't able to get inside my car because they park the cars too close, making it impossible to get inside the car. They guy that unlocked the gate told me that he can climb over the seat to move my car. I told him no because he has dirty muddy boots on and he would mess up my car. I had to take off my muddy shoes just to climb to the driver's side of the car. I told him that should have been a discount on my fee to go through this much to get my car. They guy was polite about it and understood my frustration. Nothing the guy could do according to him. This place should be shut down to be honest. They are in the middle of an lawsuit. More is coming based off of these reviews. Must I add, the whole office smells like complete alcohol. They need to be investigated for sure.

These types of people, if you can call them that, lifted my truck, it fell over and they hit it a lot. When I went to pick it up, I was missing a tool. I was missing a wire, a trimmer. That alone is more than 1,000 dollars. When I went to the office, they closed the doors on me.

All reviews are correct, totally helpless company and seeing the responses from the company themselves, the unprofessionalism is blatant. Are absolutely no help, towing cars that shouldn’t be, not towing cars that should be towed parked in no parking zones or incorrectly. Why tow people from their own property but not people hindering those of the actual communities? You can blame management for calling all you want, but maybe you should allow people who actually own the property to decide if a car should be in their driveways/spots or not. What’s the point? Awful company with crappy attitudes.

The lady at the Furnace branch was rude and unprofessional. My car was towed due to an accident, but had to go show proof of owernership to have it towed to my mechanic ( no payment out of pocket). When I tried explaining to her that the tow guy sent us to the wrong location, she was very rude and dismissive.

This towing company is the worst you can find do not choose this company anymore. So unorganized and when you try to get your car back you have to wait for someone to come unlock it which takes 15mins of waiting. They go off calls too so even if it's illegal at the time to take your car they will off a random phone call. Be careful this business should be shut down.not to mention they show the Pasadena address not the Furnace branch location which is what everyone talks about

These people will LIE and say village of Marley station requested for them to come tow your car lol… it’s all a LIE if you live around Village of Marley station these people just wanna pop in to see who has a parking pass be on the look out for these people creeping in the neighborhood after midnight. Village of Marley station said they never requested for them they just come around when they feel like it. These people need to be banned from the property at this point. And i will be talking to the property owner again today. This company just wants money and they are charging high fees and only want cash.

The person on the phone is rude. She makes a very bad day worse. The guy who unlocked the lot and gave us the truck was nice and seemed reasonable. He’s the reason for the 3. She is the 2 pt deduction, ha :)

Very rude customer service by the woman on the phone. From looking at previous comments this is nothing new and has been said more than once. It’s very unfortunate that you can call up their polite and still receive rude service. I understand this line of work you may not always get the best calls coming in. But treat that on a case by case scenario how you respond to people.

NCR provided me with exceptional service when my car broke down at work, promptly towing it to my local shop about 25 minutes away at a reasonable price, and ensuring seamless communication with the dispatcher throughout the process.

600 Dollars to pull a car 10-20 feet should be considered theft. Didn't even get towed. They don't tell price until they have your car so be careful. Edit: it wasn't 20 feet, maybe 10-15 at most, and you can't control when other people come into oncoming traffic and you have to swerve to avoid a collision.

Terrible company they towed my boyfriends car at midnight, only takes cash charged us about 450 and then had us trying to push a broke down car out the way to get our car. We asked for a discount for this and the older man in the shack rudely snapped at me telling us they can’t help and we’d have to wait till a tow truck comes. We not from this state the inconvenience this had caused it’s extremely frustrating. Watch out for these parasites. I’ve had my car towed before and it was never this much of a hassle.

This is an absolute parasite of a company. They towed my truck from my apartment complex at 4:30am so no one could stop them. When I tried to pick it up the receptionist sent me to the wrong location the first time. They demand cash only so they don't have to report on taxes. I don't know how these people sleep at night. Oh wait they don't. They're up in the middle of the night like predators trying to make everyone's life harder.

I had a great experience with North County Towing. My daughter was in an accident last week and the car had to be towed. I stopped by NCR to gather personal items and sign the vehicle over for the insurance estimate. The staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. While I was grabbing items from the car, the driver who towed the car came over and checked to see how my daughter was doing. Very kind and courteous!

I recently was in a bad accident...flipped my car. I found the people at NCT to be very accommodating. They truly helped me above and beyond. They were so helpful and caring. I am so grateful to them for all their help and concern for my situation, especially now that I am without a vehicle. I highly recommend this company. Hopefully I won't need their services again LOL but I wouldn't hesitate to stop just to thank them again once I'm able to get another vehicle.

I don’t know how these people sleep at night. This business is no less than predatory. I live in The Village at Marley Station Apartments, which is 1.7 miles away from their lot. I moved into the apartment in December 2023, and didn’t have a vehicle at first. I got a hand me down car from my mother in January, it’s now March. Two months, with absolutely no issues. So I never notified the leasing office of my car, and didn’t think I needed to, as the parking lot near my building is always nearly empty. I took my dog out today, and realized my car was gone. Less than 2 hours of storage, less than TWO miles away from my apartment. $360. THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS! That is disturbingly high. I hope whoever owns this business knows that as they’re lining their pockets with nearly $400 of my money… that I’m now trying to figure out how I’m going to eat & pay my rent this month. I hope karma is swift and relentless for all involved. I’m manifesting the worst for you and your families.

This is my first review for anything ever. So let me say a few things about this company. First of all, the people here are so rude and the farthest from having any empathy. Now, you’re dealing with a towing company so empathy isn’t expected, but you would at least expect some “customer service” yet they don’t even try. Well, my boyfriend’s car was towed recently even after moving it to a different spot within 24hrs! We called asap and the lady on the call provided little to no information besides on how to pay. So disappointing and unhelpful. There’s a reason why most people rated 1 star!

A business of thievery ran by scumbags. I had my vehicle in front my apartment less than 4 hours before these people came and snatched it. Now I understand towing services are necessary but this was just incredibly opportunistic. Then when I showed up to claim my vehicle the trashy girl working the front desk was incredibly rude and combative. The process for getting my vehicle back was lengthy involving lots of paperwork and was incredibly expensive despite them only having custody of my car for less than 12 hours. The owner of this business should thank his lucky stars that it’s legal in this country to prowl the streets of poor and working class neighborhoods taking advantage of people. 100% interested in a class-action lawsuit or whatever legal recourse may be available as other “customers” have suggested.

The sign posted at the office door indicates they close at 12 on Saturdays. If you call they will tell you we close at 11am. Informed owner that we needed to take pictures as requested by insurance. Owner advise he would not permit it and if we did we would be removed from the tow yard. He said there were other vehciles in the yard and he had to protect the vehicles. Lousy excuse as all the cars in his possession are near totalled not much to protect. This manipulative art/tactic is collectively done in efforts to delay claims and allow the privately owned vehicles to remain in the yard longer than necessary. If the cars are in the yard longer NCR can charge more storage. When I informed the owner that we had a ethical responsibility to mitigate the time necessary to conclude our claim with pictures and information, he could really care less and walked away with no regard. There are several and hundreds of negative reviews but this business doesn't care they receive business from the County police who request towing at scenes of accidents. To say the customer service was poor is far from the ethical conduct that this place needs. We are advised we have 20 minutes to remove our content from the vehicle. At the 15 minute mark yard attendant says your time is up. Lastly the rules governing no pictures seems to be customer based and not across the board. As this was not documented on the forms we signed along with the referenced yard rules. Thank you for contributing to such a negative experience which you do not care about. Any rebuttal to this comment will mean nothing to us. ****WE NEVER MADE IT TO THE LOT WHEN THIS TOOK PLACE. YOUR OFFICE IS AT ONE LOCATION AND THE YARD IS AT ANOTHER LOCATION*****

Like so many others here in the reviews, both myself and my family have been traumatized by the extreme rudeness, yelling, hanging up, and hateful attitude displayed by the employees at NCR Towing. My brother’s car was towed while parked literally right in front of his apartment. I was in one of my law school classes when he called me frantic and panicked due to the actions of this company. He is a doctor and had left items in his car which he needed for work. As you might guess, NCR Towing absolutely refused to allow him to retrieve any of his work items despite the law that states that these companies must let you retrieve personal items in your vehicle. Although Maryland law requires tow companies to accept credit cards as a form of payment (because who carries $500 in cash these days....?) this company was in direct violation of that law and would only allow my brother to pay with cash (fyi, they also do not have an ATM on their property as required by law). There were other abhorrent details and experiences that is just way too long to write in a review, so I will save my time and energy to pursue legal recourse against this company. Is anyone else interested in filing a class action lawsuit? ------ P.S. My brother, knowing I was a law student at the time, asked me to be on the calls with him regarding paying for the vehicle so he could go about his work duties. The lady on the phone continued to hang up on us as we simply asked questions to get this issue resolved. When I called back several times the to ask to speak to the manager, the person on the phone (Christina, I believe) yelled at me and hung up, and refused to transfer the call. ———— UPDATE: As suspected, the owner’s comment asking people to “call him” and “speak to him” as the owner is simply performative. I called on Wednesday asking to speak to Buddy per the comment below. Following the patterns of the previous calls I had made in the past, the lady on the phone said that the owner would not take my call unless he knows what the call is about and told me that I needed to provide specific details about the tow as a requirement before the owner calls. I called back and provided the details requested. I asked when I should expect a call back and she told me the owner would call me either later that day in the afternoon (Wednesday) or call me the next day after 10 a.m. As I expected, the owner never called. If you would like to share a similar or shared experience, feel free to send it to ncrtowinglawsuit at gmail dot com (I am spelling it out this way to comply with Google policy). Thank you.

They did call right back to schedule a pickup for my belongings. Fees aren’t outrageous and it’s easy to find. The lady who works the phone however was very rude, despite me being friendly and calm. I know customers are rude, I’m a bartender. I’m sure because of the type of business, your customers are especially rude, however I was nothing but polite and respectful. I didn’t get her name, but she was very rude and condescending on the phone. Other than that the operation is pretty solid and trustworthy.

I have never been disrespected like this in my life. The lady Ms. Smith is the name she gave me needs to be fired she yelled at me hung up the phone on me several times she refused to let me speak with a manager or supervisor. I think they have caller ID because she refused to answer my calls for at least a hour. She assumed that I was financially incapable of paying for my car. Highly unprofessional. Somebody needs to do something about her. And based off other reviews she's been doing this with no disciplinary action against her. That means the manager or owner CONDONE HER BEHAVIOR... ILL DEFINITELY BE CONTACTING MY LAWYER ABOUT THIS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING I also have audio recordings of our conversation in case she tries to deny. She wouldn't even give me the address to the place

No one likes to be towed. However, I found this office to be professional. The address on google needs to be updated as I went to the wrong location first. The sign at the old location is still up as well. (I mentioned this to the clerk and they said they were having a hard time with google) I am happy they accepted my expired digital insurance card as proof of ownership. I will say I did not like the idea of having to ride in a golf cart from the office on the main road to an adjacent lot, It felt a little unsafe. I would have rathered walked but I was not given that option. My car was blocked in by other towed cars but the driver quickly moved them. I was very happy that my car was blocked in as the manner in which the others were moved seemed very hastily done. It allowed me a quick exit without having to wait long but feel sorry for the owners of the other cars.

Look, no one likes having their vehicle towed. But all this stuff about the girl on the phone being rude and them damaging vehicles and expense and stuff. That wasn’t my experience at all. I sent them the pics of my license and insurance and title, scheduled an appointment. The employee showed up on time, and I payed exactly 350$, as they said I would pay. There were no hidden fees or anything. They didn’t even put one of those dumb paint-marker things on my window, which was a nice touch. It was inconvenient, but overall professional. When I first saw that my car was towed, I was frustrated, and I gave the girl on the phone attitude because of that. I think it’s only human to match the energy that people throw at you, so yeah, she didn’t seem too pleased to speak to me at first. But I calmed down, and apologized and she was fine. It’s not her fault my car got towed. When I got there, it only took me less than 10 minutes to get the car, and I was on my way. It’s the holidays. I think towing is a scam, but the people at the desk had nothing to do with the towing and are just trying to make a living. Your job might not be completely corruption-free either, just saying. Just be kind. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Honestly, I blame the poorly-marked parking spots at my friends’ apartment moreso than the towing company itself.

My car was towed to their Odenton lot. This towing company only comes out by who they're called by. They don't set the rules and regulations of these apartment complexes, neighborhoods, and businesses. (Who can be a real pain to deal with!) My car was towed for being inoperable when not only 24 hours prior did I just take my battery out to take it to get charged and they put a so-called notice on my vehicle and called the towing company before the timeline was up. It is not the towing company's fault. The gentleman who worked for the towing company was very pleasant. Yes, I wish they didn't charge so much also but I'm sure with insurance and equipment costs and having to pay employees etc etc they need to make their money too. But again my experience with the towing company themselves was good. They will meet you 24/7 so you don't have to wait another day/ another charge, which some companies do not do.

when my vehicle was wrongfully towed this company gave me my car back for free then when I asked for advice on getting my vehicle evaluated due to the front end being shaky . A neighbor informed me that he actually is a tow truck driver and that he saw my vehicle being drug without the proper equipment being that my vehicle is a front wheel drive and I was parked inward towards my building. I told the company what I was told but never accused because I did not see the tow taking place and only wanted to know the proper protocol to get my vehicle looked at. The female who answered the phone immediately cut me off and said that she knows her tow drivers would never do that and if I was done because she has other customers and to sue and they would counter sue me. I have never experienced such incompetence in customer service when it truly is not a hard profession when all you are required to do is be respectful and professional. She never provided me with their insurance information.
