My first time recycling here and everyone was so nice especially the guy on the yard helping me walk through loading aluminum cans. The lady at the front was also very friendly. Would recommend!

They are a rip-off. I called in advance to see what It was price per pound they told me .12 cents on the phone and I get there at the check out window and they only gave me .05 cents a pound. Very disappointed in this. Expecting to get .12 cents a pound I was cheated by .08 cents a pound. @.012cents weight @1720=206.40 @.05cents weight @1720=86.00 I was cheated $120 never again will I do business with them

All in all a good experience. The guys were busy and the sweet lady in the office came out to assist me and showed me some stuff I needed to separate to get more money. She helped me leave with more money. Not too common in the scrapyard business.

Do not come here if u have a decently maintained trailer, operators refused to let me use dump trailer and ended up bending the door and latch.

First time going there and the 2 people I spoke with were very friendly and helpful when directing me on where to go inside the yard. I don’t understand other complaints about people not getting market prices, this is a business that needs to make a profit. If they payed market value then they would be working for free.

should have read the reviews, these people will rip you off, go somewhere else. 70 cents per pound on solid copper wire. lady said she wasnt allowed to pay full price, and wouldnt give me my wire back after she cut me a comically small check. will not be back, yall should stay away too.

Found out too late that they pay about 1/3 of the going rate. And they damaged my trailer unloading with their crane. Won’t be back

This place is a joke. I know for certain I had over 150 lbs of scrap metal, but "their" scale said it was only 95 lbs. So, firstly, they need to calibrate those scales. Secondly, at only 5

Feel like I got ripped off today. Took in 2 heat pumps and the solid copper coil that sat on top. They gave my sister 26 dollars. They are worth way way way way more than that. And the coil on top, 100lbs of copper. 26 dollars, and the worst part is it was hours before I found out.

Horrible customer service I did not catch his name but the black guy sorting the material was super rude and had no respect and even had the nerve to tell me to do it my self I'm getting paid.

This place was offering half of other places I've went to. Absolute scam! Dont go here at all!

The metal recycling business along the R.R. tracks. Their daily communications with customers are commonly rude, unethical, and ignoring. Some employees are predictably dangerous without provocation. Avoidance is a prudent choice. I have no idea why Google is showing the laundry business on E. Spring Street as metal recycling.

I just wanted to take the old metal from my house out of the kids reach. Money was never my goal, especially $6. Upon arrival of your first visit, you will have to find your own way around. I eventually found out to drive straight in over the railroad tack, turn left and park on the scales in front of the building until a lady opens the door and says your good. You then drive back toward the entrance and make a right to unload your metals, then drive back to the lady to be weighed again and then back to the front white trailer with the paper she gives you. If you are like me and think you can come back later for what little pay your getting, you will be scorned. I missed the little pay window on the trailer, but the lady inside was nice. I was scorned again at the window for not reading the little sign that says something to the effect of pay here. I had to make 2 loads in my van due to space. The 2 loads had equal amounts of fence and old tomatoe cages, but the second load housed an additional 6 lawn mower blades, 8 edging blades, and one big tractor blade. Somehow the scales considered the 2 loads of equal weight despite the difference. A little signage and good customer service would do this place wonders. If it hadn’t been for the sweet lady in the trailer and the sweet lady at the scales, I would not have even returned for the 2nd load. With numerous metal recycling place in one city and several on one street, it would pay to be more considerate. Some people are heavy recyclers and would do test runs before picking a facility.

The only scrap yard my husband and I go to. Mike is extremely helpful and manages the employees so well. It’s a huge help to have the cherry picker available to take off heavy items. They pay very well and will always help me with loads. I’m so grateful there is such an organized metal recycling facility near us!
