Called up there looking for a part and not only did a fellow New Yorker Jimmy quickly look it up and go check if they had it in stock, but he also gave me some great advice on what I was working on. Good man. Advance Auto needs more employees like Jimmy! He definitely deserves a raise. Thanks Jimmy!

My review is specifically about Vina... So we showed up to advance Auto parts telling them that we needed a battery and they looked up on the system of what battery we needed and the gentleman that installed our battery was asked if our terminals were in good condition he replied yes and so we got our battery installed drove the car home went to go crank it up again and absolutely nothing happened in addition to that when he tighten the terminal on our battery it ripped it. Moments later we called back to advance Auto parts and was told by the same gentleman that the car was operating fine when we left so there was nothing he could do just completely careless to anyone's concern... I come in the next morning to buy a terminal due to him ripping my terminal that was on my battery I came in to buy another one so I came in the store and I was approached by Vina the store manager, she asked me what I was looking for and if I needed any help and I was quite frustrated and really agitated about the situation but yet I looked at her and said yes I'm looking for a terminal and she had asked if that's all that I needed and then I presumed to explain the situation to her as I did she completely understood everything that I said she listened to everything I had to say before giving any input... She was completely thoughtful of me in our situation and actually gave us a terminal and a corrosion kit to show her support and her care for a customer. At the end of the day it was not the fact that she gave us anything for free it was the fact also that the very same day she contacted us via phone and asked us if the terminal worked great again showing her full support to us.. Vina has great leadership and carries great compassion for what she does and who she is... Vina is the ONLY REASON we will remain a customer!!!

This is the only place I know they stock my full synthetic 5W40 Mobile oil for my VW. About 1,000 before the oil change you can predict the oil light coming on. I add 1/2 a quart if I can't get to tte dealer within a day or so.

My car battery died across the street from this advanced auto parts. Fina, the General Manager, was so kind, she drove me back across the street and jumped my car. They sold me a new battery and gave me a recommendation for Hometown Tire to install it since it was also an electrical issue. Just knowing that this particular store is short staffed, it meant the world that she was so kind and helped us out so much. Would 10/10 go back! She is the best!

They go above and beyond to help you out. The store is neat and clean. The shelves are very well organized and the prices are in line with other auto part stores. The customer service sets them apart.

I gave two stars because the facility is nice and the salesman was too. Very informative about the app and point system. HOWEVER the part was wrong! When people come in they’re most likely in distress and depend on you guys and hope that the part is right. Do better with that.

I would rather go to a junk yard in the middle of the desert than go to the advance in Monroe for anything at all. If they were the only parts store in the world, I would rather go by a new car than order a part here. The general manager is the absolute worst person in the world for the responsibility that she has. She is the most rude, most unpleasant, and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with, period.

One of the few places with great customer service these days. I showed up 30 mins before closing with a dead battery. It’s the night before Thanksgiving and I have travel plans tomorrow. I was expecting to get turned away because it’s so close to closing, or at least get a rude employee angry about not being off work yet. I was SHOCKED to find neither situation. The employees helped me immediately, knew exactly what to do, checked and replaced my battery in less than 15-20 mins, made sure all locks and windows were working before I left, and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving. I haven’t seen this kind of customer service since COVID started. I forgot what it was like. I’m so impressed I decided to write a review about my excellent experience. This is rare these days.

95% of the time I frequent this store the employees have no clue what is going on. I ordered a tie-rod end that ended up being defective, called the store and talked to a woman - explained the situation (also note I told her I had a part number and she said that wouldn’t helped and asked for my year make and model) and she said that she did not have one and I would have to come into the store and order another one to validate the warranty (I know this is false, because I worked for AAP recently and know you can order a part from another store with no deposit), so I say okay anyway and take the ball joint down to the store, she then says that because I ordered it from another store there is nothing she can do and I have to handle it with the other store (again, I know this is false, because I’ve not only done it myself, but I’ve had transactions searched from external locations numerous times with 0 issues). This has since sent me on a wild goose chase to find somewhere else that has the part in stock, so I can get my truck back on the road and go to work. PS: I forgot to mention she asked the CPP and he told her I was on my own as well after I KNOW THAT IS NOT TRUE. Do better, hire knowledgeable individuals, and teach them how to do their job. If I could give this negative stars I would.

When you pay for something with (CASH) and you have them order it for you and when it doesn't show up and they tell you the product has been discontinued and they say we will give you your money back, ok that's fine, but when you get a store merchant card and not your cash back, meaning you still don't have your money in hand to buy a similar product somewhere else, this is not the first time I've had this issue, the cashier was not any help. She stated she just started, Rick sitting at the commercial side desk. Said he would help me, but yet I stood there another hour waiting to be helped, because he was enjoying the conversation with another employee and someone else outside of the store. Rick really needs to be fired, Not very happy at all, I would love to give this store a negative 50 star rating every one needs to be fired and away from customer service except for crystal, she's very helpful and knowledgeable and she should be in charge of this store, the Monroe store is in need of better employees, I will be contacting corporate office about this matter,

Poor customer service! Was first given the wrong part for our car. When we tried to return the wrong part we were basically accused of trying to return a used part. We did get our money back but being treated like we were we WILL NEVER GO BACK!

A new hire Tony miskin was so helpful, he told me everything I needed to know, best part available how to do it and even offer loaner tool if I needed it. He is so knowledgeable you'd think he was a certified Technician.

My boyfriend bought parts for his truck and they ended up not being the right size. Advanced Auto parts was more than willing to give him a full refund and helped him figure out the correct size that he needed. Great customer service with very knowledgeable employees. We will definitely be back!!!

The lady that helped me was great. The gentleman however wasn't very helpful. He didn't know how to help so he had no solution or suggestion. When we as women come to a man for help it's because we actually need it maybe be a little more considerate next time, or maybe he shouldn't be working for an auto parts store if he doesn't know what he's doing.

Went to this location on a Thursday to get what I needed for a project on Saturday. They didnt have the item I needed so the associate assured me that if I ordered it I would get it Friday by 3:30 pm. Sure enough Friday came and item was not there, then they said it would be here later on at night, well ANOTHER LIE because item was sure not there AGAIN. Well this time they said the truck would be there in the morning at 8:00 am with item. ANOTHER lie, I called 10:30 am and Ofcourse ANOTHER LIE, now my item will be here after 1:00 pm. I honestly recommend NOT shopping here, they will lie and lie, and in the process mess up your big or small projects that you might have like they did to me. Gk somewhere else where they have the stock you need and not liers, wasted my time.

Had what I needed actually in stock. Very helpful staff. Often part stores can act like you're a bother if you don't know "mechanic lingo". Did not experience this here at all. Very pleased.

The workers here was super nice and helpful. The lady that helped me got tickled when I just had to hand her my phone with my activated husband( not at them, at the car) and she got what he needed and was so sweet to me. I wish I thought about getting her name so I could shout her out. Awesome experience

Great customer service and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Tanya replaced my battery and tie down, a part I didn't know was missing. There are a few other part stores in Monroe, but go here first. It will save you time and headache.

I went in looking for a back light bulb for my car because it was blown. The gentleman at the counter looked up the size and told 3157. After purchasing the light bulb he told me to be sure that the lightbulb was blown before opening the package because once it was opened I couldn’t return it. A couple days later, I went to changed my lightbulb and it was supposed to be 3057. Therefore, I did not open the package. I was unable to find my receipt, but when I asked him if I could return it by then looking it up by card, the worked basically accused me of being a theif. He said he couldn’t return it because for all he knows I could’ve taken it right off the shelf, after I even told him I could show it to him in my bank records where I purchased it. Usually, I shop at Autozone anyways, but I will for sure NEVER shop at another Advanced after being accused of being a theif.
