Came and got our tire pressure adjusted and had them look at our tires. It was totally free and the guy who helped us was awesome. I think his name was Devin, and he was genuinely happy to help and gave us lots of information. It felt like he really wanted what was best for us, which is exactly what you look for from your local repair shop. I will definitely be back here if I ever have any issues with my car. I even offered to tip him and he wouldn’t accept it and told us to pay it forward.

All staff members where great and understanding. Took a project truck here to ask about an issue with my wheel camber. I had just done a lot of front end work they got me in and out in under 2 hours with a free inspection, recommendations, and even got it aligned (impressive considering the vehicle) Thanks casey you did amazing!

Great service. I was a walk in so wasn't sure if they could do it. It was just a tire patch. I was in and out of there within the hour. Very polite folks.

Dropped my car off at 9 am and picked it up at close, 7pm. Never called. They didn’t even move the car. Waste of time.

I visited this Pep Boys with a severely damaged tire. I called two other places prior to going there but, they weren't open due to it being New Year's Day. Their customer service was exceptional. Upon my request I was shown the condition of the tire that was damaged and they obliged. I was concerned about the finance due to me just getting off a flight in Atlanta and still having to continue home for the duration of another 2 hours. They gave me options that eased my mind and were accommodating to my pocketbook. I ended up getting 2 tires. I felt a little bad that I was the last customer and was holding them up of getting home for the day but, they assured me that I was no inconvenience. Upon completion of my vehicle servicing, I left feeling a lot safer on the 2hr ride home and, I was less stressed about this unexpected cost. I do not live in the area of this Pep Boys but, if I did, I would definitely use their services again.

Staff was super kind and helpful. loved their Attitudes! service didn’t take long and they communicated with me every step of the way. the lady in the front is nice and she handled me with care !! great people

First time at this location and just got an oil change. They did a good job.

I took my wheels for my project truck and had tires put on them. Steve helped me find a good set of tires at a reasonable price. While I was there I got him to look at a coolant leak on my truck, he called one of the mechanics to look at it and found the problem and I am taking it back next week to have repaired. Nice to find mechanics you can trust.

Did not rotate my tires on my 2019 ford f250 with work bed,did not check the brakes and said they were still 50% will not be bringing my vehicles here ever again this is the second time that this has happened

Very nice and honest with us on how long it should take and the price. Will definitely be going to them again for any issues.

Pep Boys really helped us when my son’s car literally broke down in front of their shop. They offered to tow it to my local mechanic, but since they were closed they priced out the parts we needed and had it repaired within the hour. Stephen and Tim were both so kind to us. Thank you again.

Appt was at 2:30 they did not pull my car in until 3:20. The guy at the desk was pre occupied with his and the employees PTO requests. He was discussing the issues in th phone while I just sat there and waited. I finally asked what the deal was with my vehicle and then he said they were pulling it in I made the appointment because I had to be at work and liked the “idea” of an appointment.

Having to get new brakes repaired was not something I wanted to spend money on, but I am glad that I decided to go to Pep Boys in Monroe. They were upfront with the costs and options and found a coupon to use. I had planned to be there most of the day, but the service was much quicker than I thought. A week later and no problems. No more grinding sounds and worries about stopping.

At first, the experience was just fine — nothing exceptional, but manageable. The staff seemed slightly annoyed that I brought my own oil and filter, but I figured that was a minor inconvenience. The wait felt long, though I accepted it since I didn’t have an appointment. Fast forward, and now I’m dealing with an entirely new issue: a piece of plastic hanging down from the driver’s side. Upon closer inspection, it turns out the aerodynamic covers underneath weren’t properly secured. Even worse, the passenger side looks like it’s about to follow suit! This kind of carelessness is completely unacceptable—what should have been a simple maintenance visit has now turned into an unnecessary headache.

I had an oil change done last July at this store. They forgot to put the oil cap back on so my engine blew up. They corrected the problem and I was satisfied with my service until I left. On the way home after making a stop, my car wouldn’t start. They had to tow it again and replace the starter. A month later I called them and told them my car wouldn’t start right away and when it did, several lights came on. They told me it sounded like the alternator and to stop at the nearest Pep Boys and have it checked. They told me it was the battery so I had it replaced. This problem continued to happen periodically and last week my car just died. After I had it towed to Pep Boys, they told me it was the starter, AGAIN!!! They charged me $138 to replace it and I told them I shouldn’t have to pay anything. I contacted corporate via online chat and, still 8 days later they haven’t contacted me. I know everyone makes mistakes but, they should be corrected without me having to pay anything. Oh and also, I had to pay for the last tow .

The customer service is A+! I've had many things done to my car at the Monroe location. Tim is so helpful and provides the best customer service. Not to mention, their time management is superb. I never have to wait long.

I took my 2022 car in for a oil change, tire rotation and to get a tire pressure sensor replaced (kept getting an error saying one wasn't working). I get there and explain everything. 1.5 hrs later, my car is ready and they hand me paper work. Price didn't add up, so I asked if the replaced the tire sensor. They said they didn't, dianostics said it was fine. Looking back at the paper, it said they "fixed" a dashboard light. I asked what that was and they tell me that I had error light that kept popping up. I explained that was for the tire sensor! I asked what they did about the dashboard light and they said they just cleared out. That's not fixing, for one. I requested again they replace it and they literally argued with me saying it didn't need it even though my car kept saying it did. Finally! I got them to do it and said I would have to go to Ford in the next few days when I realized they were right. I haven't had problem since with that error. The next morning I noticed my car scrubbing when I would hit breaks. WASN'T DOING THAT BEFORE! Took it back and they said it was a dust pan, that they accidently bent. They said they fixed it. Still noticed it was scrubbing just not quiet as bad. I decided to go to Ford this time. Ford comes out and said there is a panel that is broke under my car and it has recently been zip tied with pink zip ties. Looks like it was broke due to an oil change (I didn't tell Ford about the oil change and Pepboys didn't put a sticker on my window). My husband always used this place for his business fleet. I never did until now. I will not be back. I understand they were being honest about the testing of the sensor, but there was clearly something wrong. Clearing out the error isn't fixing anything. Fixing something with zip ties isn't fixing it either. i don't normally leave reviews, but I believe this warranted one.

My daughter had a leak in her tire. We tried Walmart across the street and they said they didn't have time to plug it. We pulled up to pepboys and a gentleman greeted us in the parking lot to ask what we needed and within 15-20 min we were on our way with the tire repaired. They were very courteous

THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW HONEST SHOPS LEFT!!! Went to a Ford dealership for a prepurchase inspection before buying my truck. They gave me a list of items they said needed to be done including an alignment and tune up(coils, wires and spark plugs). Went here to get some records because it had been serviced here before I agreed to buy it. Not only did they show me it had the tune up recently but they put it on the alignment machine and it was completely fine. They could have easily charged me for an alignment I didn't need. Ronnie and Chris are awesome and HONEST men. Thank you

Always get my oil change here. It's fast and they are so sweet. I needed a tire plugged and they helped me fast. My tires are low, and they will fill them. My husband and son also bring their trucks here for repairs and have always been pleased. We will be back.

We were traveling home from visiting my husband’s family who lives in Monroe and we noticed we had a nail in our tire. We stopped by Pep Boys and Ronnie totally took care of us. He recognized our child had special needs and he took extra steps to ensure we were in and out quickly. We are so thankful for his empathy and highly recommend this location!

Lee is an outstanding mechanic and I appreciate the great electrical wiring work he did related to my car, trailer and winch. However, I was a little surprised at the bill because the work was originally projected as 2 hours, not three, which is what I was charged for. I can see that it probably took three hours, so that is OK. It was just a little sticker shock when I paid the bill. But three hours time for the job is acceptable and understandable. In the future, I would recommend erring on the side of telling the customer more time instead of less time. that way, less "sticker shock" when it comes time to pay the bill. The most important thing is obviously quality of work and the user friendliness of the service. And on those items, the team was super!!!! Thanks, Bruce Sabatino Monroe, GA

Aside from the expected service provided the customer service by Albert left much to be desired. I called ahead and he ( since I saw he was the only one working the desk) told me I didn’t need an appointment. I arrive he acknowledges my presence and proceeds to inquire if I made an appointment. Then it takes about 25 minutes to be provided with service. I’m the only one there or so it appears. Yup while he stayed on the computer, printing and who knows what… he walks to what I learned later the waiting area and returns with a customer. He finishes up with him - about another 10 mini… then asks me how he may help me. Everything from there is status quo. I spent over $200 for an oil change and new windshield wipers which I did ask for on my own. I’m big on customer device primarily because I work hard for my money like most of us do and have options of where I spend it. This was my first and last trip to Pep Boys.

Went for a tire rotation. Came back to this. Then my truck wouldn't crank. I was told they had checked the battery and it was good and they told me I needed over $1800 worth of work. Went across the street got my battery checked and it showed 203 instead of 750.
