My car was towed here after an accident. I gave them a call and they were friendly on the phone. They helped me line up a time to come gather my belongings from it and told me what paperwork I needed to do so. When I arrived in person, things felt a little impersonal at first. I had to talk through hole in a glass window that was tinted and I couldnt see who I was talking to. After I provided my paperwork, they opened a window and gave me release forms to sign and then had someone escort me back to the car to get my things. I think this place deals with a lot of angry, frustrated people who don't like the steps you have to take in order to do things and take it out on them. I did not have a bad experience here at all.

Please make sure you have all of your documentation for your vehicle when you come to pick it up. Documentation could be your tag/registration receipt or your title. If you have your title, please make sure you have all of the paperwork to prove that the car if yours. You will also need to make sure that you have a tow truck company that is legitimate.(They need to be licensed) or you will be denied from getting your vehicle. This is only if you can not drive off the lot. The last thing I would say is make sure you have cash. I see where things could go wrong at this business and this is my experience and what I would recommend to anyone picking up their car from this location. I was charged 385.00 to get my car from their lot. I would prefer not to give a rating, but since I am forced, I will give 2 stars.

The man who owns this company is a complete jerk!!! He literally hung up on me while I was trying to explain to him my situation-being that my ex-husband was driving my car without permission and it broke down and my ex is refusing to pay the obscene amount due-yes my ex is a complete jerk also! I’ve been in treatment following my Dads passing for mental health issues and he has no mercy or grace. Actually condemned me for seeking help. He is an awful businessman and a terrible human being! DO NOT use this company for anything!! Unless you want to deal with rudeness! His father was a great man! No wonder he had 4 drivers walk out on him w/20+ years employment, within the first month he took over. I DO NOT recommend Rucker Orr for anything!!!

Cash only seems super sketch, especially when you're quoting me $670 for a 35 mile tow and you didn't give me the price before hooking my car onto your truck. Then you ask for $300 cash to take my car back off and leave it on the side of the road if I want to call my own towing company instead of using the one the state trooper called. Then you tell me that I'm holding you up and maybe you don't feel comfortable driving me along with the car. I let them haul it off to their yard so that insurance would deal with it and took a Lyft back home. (Tow driver got all nice after that.) Insurance just called and told me that they weren't able to facilitate the release of my vehicle remotely and that I need to drive back down (in what car?) to release it in person. Their hours are 9-4 on weekdays and 9-12 on Saturday, nothing on Sunday. I not only need a car, but time for a 2-hour+ round trip in the middle of my workday. ("It won't take but two minutes." Yeah, plus transit. You sure there's no remote option? "These are the laws and we don't make the laws." But there exists an option for people out of state...) The longer it takes me to find a way to get down there, the more they get to charge for keeping my vehicle in their yard. They're scamming every step of the way. (duplicated from my Yelp review)

Had an accident and driver helped tow my BMW to a body shop. First, he tried to convince me to instead take it to the lot of their tow company and let the insurance pay, so that the company would get paid again when the insurance tells them where to take the car. When I told him I would rather make sure my car is at a BMW approved body shop, he get upset and yelled that I would have to pay upfront and cash. When I got the money from the ATM, he demanded to be paid upfront before driving as if I was going to run away and leave him with my BMW! I paid $520 to go aroud 30 min and less than 20 miles! Then, he claimed that I pretended not to hear him well but had no difficulty hearing the “white people”. I was really shocked that he implied that I had some racial bias. He had golden teeth but I didn’t make any judgement at any point and was even appreciative of his help. The staff at the bodyshop had to reprimand him because he tried to drop my car at a place where it would have blocked traffic in the parking lot; there were many other places, such as where he eventually left the car, where he could have done it. But he wanted to act stupid and got talked to by the body shop. What an embarrassment and a buffoon!
