On October 15th, a car ran a red light in Newnan hitting us full force. Our car was undriveable so a tow truck arrived to take our car away. Luckily for us, it was Charlie’s Towing! The driver went above and beyond in taking care of our car…and us. He gave us a ride to the storage yard and then helped us unload the disabled vehicle (we had quite a bit of luggage.) When we couldn’t reach the rental company, he loaded our belongings into his own vehicle and transported us to the rental car site. After he unloaded our luggage there he told us to call him if we needed a ride! A truly extraordinary gentleman!
I was in desperate need of a towing service and I called a number of companies in the Newnan, Georgia area only to be told that they were too busy and to call back later. I was hesitant to call Charlie's Towing attributable to its low service rating on Yelp.
Resultantly, I called Charlie's Towing out of desperation and was greeted by an employee named David. Everything David said he would do, he did so in an exemplary manner. The care in which he handled my car was exceptional and moreover, he was ever-cognizant of his promised service time commitments.
While driving to my destination, David and I engaged in great conversation. We spoke about everything from the possible future traffic congestion in Newnan resulting from over-development in the area to my job duties.
If ever I have a need for towing in the Newnan, Georgia area, I will gladly call Charlie's Towing. In addition, I will happily recommend this company to my friends without hesitation.

I spoke with Charlie himself and he was very kind and professional. extremely timely and quite literally changed our whole day around after 6 hours of waiting on another towing company. Skip the mistakes and just CALL CHARLIE FIRST.
Very rude, not helpful whatsoever. Seems to be racist as well. Dragged the car out of the garage without putting into neutral, didn’t even fully have it on the tow bed. Wouldn’t recommend.
Not really sure how this place has so many stars. The customer service is absolutely horrible, and the representative behind the counter is definitely racist and unprofessional . Extremely rude staff, we paid over $800 and they stated it would be an extra charge to bring my car from
Behind their gate to their parking lot. They literally made up charges on the spot for several things. I do not recommend anyone to use them, especially if you’re a person of color.
Our truck was towed by Charlie's Towing after breaking down in a parking lot. We didn't have the money to get it out right away and once we paid the storage charge we didn't have the money to fix it or have it towed home. They were very nice, understanding and helpful through out the entire ordeal. I want to thank them and will recommend anyone that needs any kind of towing service to call Charlie's. They will help in any way they can.
The guy was the nicest guy ever! I didn’t catch his name because I was so distraught. Being a female, we tend to get overcharged and played when it comes to services like this. I can say that Charlie’s Towing is AMAZING! Made me feel super comfortable with my tow. This was above and beyond service!

I called this Towing service and was told that someone was on the way. I am in 85 degree Summer Heat waiting for someone to show up and no one showed up. I called them and all of my calls went to voice mail. I didn't even get a call back to let me know they were not coming. Is this the way Charlie's Towing run their Business?????
They got my old truck (power steering went out) to my mechanic so fast & professionally. No hassle, straightforward service. Handled my truck so nicely. Can not recommend highly enough, especially if you’re in a pinch! The cost is better than reasonable, too!

Charlies Towing has taken care of all of our towing needs for years. Today mom and I were at Hemricks and the battery went dead. Charlies guy , Jeff, happened to pull into the pump beside us and we asked if he had jumper cables. He got out his jump box, jumped the car off, and advised we needed a new battery. This may sound simple but it surely saved our day. Its the little things like this that make Charlies Towing a good choice. Happy to call them friends. This is the worst experience I ever had with any business. This is the most unprofessional, crooked business I have ever come across. The man, Charlie, is a complete bully and runs his business off intimidation and lies. Stay away from!!

We called on a Thursday to check and see if we would be able to schedule a tow on a Friday evening. We explained what kind of vehicle it was and that it needed to be towed to a repair shop from a residence. We were told it wouldn't be a problem. Friday came and we called to get it scheduled. Not only did the price go up but we were met with a VERY annoyed employee. He was not happy to be towing this at all. He said he really didn't have the correct truck for the vehicle we needed towed and that because it was going to be loaded backwards, if he was stopped by DOT, we would be responsible for paying the ticket ($1300). We were quoted $175 for the tow on Thursday. We were told on the phone when we scheduled it that it would be $225. This very angry driver loaded the vehicle up and drove like a crazy man possessed to the repair shop. When we got to the repair shop the price had increased yet again to $250! The entire ordeal was a terrible experience. I actually selected this company based on the reviews. Maybe the owner should have a discussion with his employees and make sure that they understand how to act professionally. I would not recommend this company for towing. They are entirely too stressful to deal with....especially if they are going to load a vehicle incorrectly then expect you to pay the ticket if he gets pulled over by DOT. Completely unacceptable. Then to charge outrageously AND change the price. Will not be using them again.
Even though I messed up 2 tires, Charlie made things go so smoothly ! Charlie is a very professional and a nice guy! He made sure to keep me safe while towing my car on the side of the expressway. He kept conversation while we road to the destination so it didn't feel uncomfortable! Once we got to a tire shop he helped and stayed with me until my mom came to make sure I was squared away! If I EVER have issues with my car again and need towing he will be my first call ! His business card will forever be in my wallet and number saved in my phone! Thanks Charlie !! I was coming home on 34 bypass and a red Charlie's towing truck starting following and harassing me at 9:45 p.m. August 23, 2016. He was very rude and clearly angry with no apparent reason and was yelling at me through the window as he continued to pull up next to me and trying to get me to pull over. I refused and continued to my home and he tailgated me for 5 miles as I was on my way home, then he just pulled off as strangely as he started.I have never even heard of Charlie's towing nor did I call them for a tow.
On a Sunday evening, Charley responded very quickly and was at my location within 45-minutes. Charley was very courteous and very professional. Should the need arise, I will choose Charley's Towing again, and I highly recommend Charley's Towing to anyone in need of towing services.
