Wouldn't give them a 1 star if I could. There driver went against even the Police Officer to ONLY IMPOUND MY TRUCK instead of Towing it to my house! He was talking AROUND ME whenever I asked him Questions @ 4 AM when I am a woman w a problem scared in the middle of nowhere trying to retrieve one of our vehicles that I let someone borrow. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE if your a woman especially if your Female !
I cannot say much about their repair service but thier towing service is not reputable. They were referred to me by someone and I had them tow my vehicle. He loaded the truck up backwards and while he was going down the road the sunroof flew off. The driver called me and apologized and said he had never had this happen to him and that they would take care of it and to expect a call from his boss about next steps. The call never came, I called them 2 days later and he told me that I could not prove it was their fault and that the repair was my responsibility. I told him what his driver said and he told me it was not the drivers place to tell me that. I said I could not prove who's fault it was because the driver did not stop and pick up the broken sunroof, and did they not have insurance to cover damages.Long story short he said they would not repair it or honor their employee's words. Again I do not know how there repair service is, they may be great but if it goes south do not expect them to make it right.
The handle on the passenger side door of my Ford Expedition had broken. I purchased a new one from the Ford dealership in Cartersville and asked about labor charges there and I believe Pam quoted $150 hour labor (if not this price it was very close). I called Roger at Matthews auto body because a friend had used them before. Roger called within two hours of me dropping it off and said the car was ready. They charged me $50 for the labor - I stood there and asked him why it was so cheap (I was expecting $200-300 charges) and he said the labor charge for the repair was only an hour and that is their rate. I guess I'm so used to being ripped off at dealerships I don't know how to respond to honest people anymore.
This is the only place I will ever go to for body work on my vehicles. Rodney is the absolute best. Fast, friendly, and courteous. All of the people do great work. I have used them a couple of times and will go nowhere else. I highly recommend Mathews. Should you need anything for your vehicles, from wrecker service to body repair, give them a call. You will not be disappointed.
