My experience was horrible. They wouldn't take any of my copper because a few pieces were burnt. They didn't even check my brass out just tried to give me irony price and when i told them to hold up i wasn't going for that the guy literally picked up a perfectly clean piece and tried to tell me it was iron. When i told him to actually check it he got angry and told me to take my stuff and go. Then when i went to get my check the supervisor became very hostile towards me for asking why there can price was so low and told me if i didn't like it i could go pick my cans up where they had dumped them out. When i told him i wasn't picking anything up he informed me that taking cans was just a convience anyway . The prices are the lowest around and the people are rude and hateful. I don't recommend anyone bring anything here.
Ryan and the crew have always been very respectful and helpful to us when we come to the yard to bring recycled products. Great communication from Ryan on the scrap pricing. Would recommend Taylor’s!!
After dropping off the recycle items, I proceeded to exist the facility. I noticed a low tire pressure on the dashboard. Pulled over with a flat tire. Changing the truck tire was a challenge due to the size of the tire. Drove to Firestone since these tires were only 3 months old. The Firestone tech should me a gash in the tire. $303 and 2 hrs later I was back on the road. I would not recommend driving into this establishment.
This was my First time ever bringing scrap metal to a recycling center. The gentlemen at this facility were extremely helpful and processed my transaction extremely fast. I was given a great price for the copper wire I brought in and found doing business with them very easy.
This is the place to go if you want to be screwed! Don't even know why they have a scale sitting there if the one running it types in what he feels like! What a joke!
This place is the best place to go with scrap of any kind anywhere around.. we won't go anywhere else UPDATE: While this is still a good place to go for your junkyard needs they have not raised how much they pay for aluminum cans in years. There's still only giving .30¢ lb and when I called around, I found "everywhere" else was giving .40¢ to .45¢ lb. So I will not be going back here for my aluminum can scrapping needs... I'm sorry to say. Had been a loyal customer for 12 years
I have been doing business with Taylor's for many years and they have always been very helpful and pay well. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone
When they say they pay "top dollar" on scrap, they aren't joking. I don't have a lot of scrap left over every week from building my metal art, so when I get a decent load gathered up, I call around to several places each time. And consistently for the past few months that I've taken scrap, Taylor's has paid more per than any of the other places. The guys in the scale office center are nicer than you'd expect too, considering the amount of people they have to deal with on a daily basis. And it's always cleaner than any other scrap yard I've seen. Never picked up one nail driving in their yard.
When it comes to junkyard royalty, Taylor’s, is the King. With some of the highest scrap prices around and quick service, you’ll be heading to the bank for payday in no time. I use Taylor’s at least once a week and wish I could more often.
I come here alot and have had no problems until today August 21st, 2021. I got there at 4:50 and they weighed me in and I went to unload. S young boy on the magnet machine came over and started pulling things from the trailer and he bent my tailgate I asked him to stop but he continued on until he pulled the weld off the gate and ripped my lights off. Now it's going to take everything I made plus some to get it fixed. He doesn't need to be on that machine at all or even work for Taylors because he was so rude and dangerous!
Very inconvenient and rude service employee waiting for 38 minutes in the heat with no air conditioning in my car then two men were behind us and they said move my car and waited on them first also I have a young child with me and they were going to try to scam us for 16$on 140lbs of iron steel and aluminum will not be back ever and consider report to the BBB it's in the publics best interests not to trade with this place
Best service I've ever had at a recycling facility. Easy to navigate the property. Everyone there is always hustling and working hard. Excellent prices and super fast service. 10/10
Really like the way operation worked here... The grabble operators & loaders all had CB's so communication was easy... ! Everything went smoothly this way
Best scrap yard ever. I estimated I had around $40 in Copper and brass according to them I had $101.80 worth. They are paying .15-.25 more than other places.
In their name is says junkyard! But the won't take plastic buckets. I've got probably 100lbs in metal and won't take any thing else. I would have gave it to them for free if they would have taken everything from the bed of my pickup. Also 40lbs of #1 copper. Not my lost, bunch of idiots
Absolutely the best prices and they don't try to tell you that your metal is something of lower value, honest group of people!!! I've been to every scrapyard within a 50 mile radius and this one by far out does all the other!!!!!
