Yesterday december 16th 2025 they had called me to get side skirts that i needed painted in an oem color from mitsubishi coded U02 phantom black pearl. They paint it gloss black and claimed their paint suppliers provided them the correct code but a different variant, they had offered to repaint them with the correct match this time. Today i called three different paint suppliers and mitsubishi which they had all told me there is no other variant of that paint code U02 so they had scammed me and refuse to give a refund. Will not have them repaint because i dont trust that they will do the job correctly after already lying to me on top of that. The owner claims he does expensive cars so i cant imagine the corner cutting he does for those types of customers. Look for another body shop
My brother brought side skirts to be repainted to them on November 21 and finally got them back today. Seen on this pictures attached, this is gloss black (no flake, no pearl, nothing) and not the phantom black color the car has. Naturally, I called to complain and got furious when the painter tried telling me a paint code was handed and was painted that color. An arrangement was made to bring the skirts back, but I honestly don’t feel comfortable, nor do I trust working with these people again. On the invoice the code (U02) was used, but I know they put it on there to cover their ass, you can tell it’s just gloss black. Either way, I’m down $600 and need the skirts repainted. I advise that non of you go to them, they’re just going to scam and pocket off you.

This is the worst bodyshop you can find, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. Three months with the car and they wanted to deliver it in a NON DRIVABLE condition as if was finished, not to mention the attitude they had when we complaint. We had to take it that way after spending thousands of dollars and months of waiting, their attention is the worst they don't know how to communicate and they should not have a business in Florida. I wish there was a 0 Star.
Neil did an amazing job with my Model 3 Tesla. I wish I took a before picture but I didn’t it’s embarrassing ?. Neil took care of rash and dents I caused on my car and now one will ever know. He was very professional and work really fast and getting it all done.
I will give SFC 3 1/2 stars if it were an option. Eventually after two separate times of leaving my car at the shop and a total of 15 days of renting a car, they finally got the rally stripes right on my car. However, after leaving my car there to have rally Stripes painted on my car, I now have a blurry spot and my backup camera, and my trunk no longer stays up on its own. I took it back to the owner Neil today and had him look at it, and of course neither one of the things has anything to do with them. Disappointing to say the least, and he's not going to do anything to fix either one of them. Although both of them the trunk of my car and the backup rear view camera was working fine when I left it there the first time. I guess that I would add, if you take your car to have work done on it at this collision shop, be sure to go over everything before you leave it with them, go over it with the owner Neil. Show him your backup camera works so they can't say that it wasn't something they did while removing it, and just make sure that he's aware that your car is in working condition before you leave it. I guess that's my best advice. The quality of the work turned out great, but you shouldn't pick up your car and have two totally separate issues as when you left it.?
Always a 5 star experience! The only body shop we will ever use! Gale and Neil are an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We received pics of our car along every step of the way, the work is impeccable and was done in a timely manner. I definitely recommend you check them out. You won't be disappointed!!
This shop is excellent. The owner, Neil, does all my cars and has for fifteen years. I drive expensive autos that demand perfect paint work and he is always flawless in workmanship and he is very honest and I would never go anywhere else.
Had my bumper repainted multiple times from other places and the paint kept cracking after a couple months. I took it to South Florida Customs and it’s been over a year, my bumper still looks IMMACULATE. 5/5 Stars
Neil runs one of the most trusted body shops out there! I love their professionalism and I always feel like I’m at home when I am there. South Florida Custom & Collision is the only place I will ever take my car to have body work done. Service, quality and fairness is tough to beat! Their work is the best around and they are always flexible working around cost and scheduling obstacles. Don't go anywhere else in Broward County for auto body work. Thank you!
Poor quality work,non oem parts despite what Neil promised.Always an excuse for why the job isn't going as promised and blames his workers. A real shady business,and don't leave valuables in the car,not even bottle's of cologne (2)
BE AWARE!!!!! VERY POOR WORK, CHEAP PARTS OR FIXED BROKEN PARTS,OVER CHARGING FOR PARTS, NEIL HAS MORE STORIES THAN WALT DISNEY AS TO WHY THE JOB IS TAKING SO LONG. DONT LEAVE VALUBALES IN YOUR VEHICLE,THE SHOP IS A DUMP. HE SHOULD GET OFF HIS LAZY ASS AND RUN HIS BUSINESS INSTEAD OF SLEEPING IN HIS CHAIR......YOUR BETTER OFF GOING TO MACO...........
I paid $800 to have three small rust spots cut out and patched. I picked up the car at night. Come the next day ,,looking at my 67 convertible it didn't look right , after an hour , I took a grinder to the repairs , taking pictures before and after.
Only to see welded patches over the rust holes , not cut and fitted in.
Neal did fire the guy , but did not rework my car , or refund my money.
My car was hit from the rear. The insurance company wanted to total and take the car from me. In my opinion, the car was worth more than twice the blue book. Neil helped me by shopping for used parts above and beyond what any other repair shop would do. The work was top quality and Neil went to bat for me with the insurance company. Recommend you put this shop on your list of bidders.
South Florida Custom & Collision Center is the ONLY place I trust to take my car to when it needs work! Unfortunately, I was involved in two collisions this year. The first was a fender bender on the highway and resulted in moderate damage to the entire back bumper of my Ford Fiesta, and the other was more minor, and caused many scratched and paint damage. Both times, I received a rental while my car was in the shop. They are conveniently located steps away from several rental agencies and were able to facilitate a quick, easy and affordable rental while they repaired my car. The owner Neil was extremely understanding and accommodating, as he knew I needed a replacement right away for work the next day. For the initial accident, he worked directly with my insurance and made the cost very reasonable, especially considering the severity of the damage. I was beyond impressed with how seamlessly he was able to: tow my car from the scene of the accident, make arrangements for me to rent a new car, coordinate with my insurance (as he is known for being "deductible friendly") and adequately fix my car in just a few days! The car literally looked better after his technicians worked on it than before the accident! Same thing with my paint/dent job. The finished product made the car look brand new. The attention to detail that was put into the labor, as well as the customer service (he noticed my car was dirty so he washed it and put air in my tired free of charge) was readily apparent and much appreciated. If you are anywhere near the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area and need to fix or upgrade any part of your car, I highly recommend you use this auto repair shop. You will not be ripped off, misguided or disappointed in any way, and the process will be as smooth as a fine-tuned (auto) machine! :)
