Over the past few years I have had the bad luck to need my AAA more than I should and I’ve had some pretty bad experiences waiting for a tow from AAA and other companies they contract out, but 3 of these calls have been answered by 4 wheel & off road and all three of those times my car was on the truck and headed home within the hour of making the request through AAA. Last night was the first time I’ve had to take the ride home with the driver (usually I have someone come pick me up) and I was genuinely surprised by how clean and comfortable the truck was inside as well. All I have to say is thank you guys for doing a great job.
Absolutely terrible, rude & unprofessional. I tried to pick up my car & was told how much it would cost but that no one was at the office and they would call me back in one hour when someone was available. Hours later, no call was received and multiple calls of mine went unanswered. Finally the following day i am able to get in touch with someone and am met with extreme rudeness as well as being told a higher cost now. So i arrive at the shop and there is no one here to help…. Completely unprofessional as well as disgustingly deceitful.
Was just trying to get to a Dr's appointment and had one of their trucks in front of me. The Driver Was Clearly Looking At Their Phone Instead Of The ROAD. Wandering from centerline to shoulder with occasional stabs at the brakes and throttle. I plan on reporting this to the business as well.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Caught a flat and Brandon I’m lost for words omgggg soooo sweet when I tell you when your hiring someone hire a million of him, when I tell you words to describe him he is amazing, fast, sufficient, made me feel safe and very professional will refer this company to everyone and will use again if I could give them 10000 stars I would
Breaking down on your way to work can ruin your day, but Torrington 4 wheel made a bad morning better, Nelson was very kind courteous and helpful, this was one of the best break down, towing experiences I ever had, I highly recommend Torrington 4 Wheel !
I can not say enough good things about my experience with Torrington 4 Wheel & Off Road. I called AAA as I had a bad situation with faulty lug nuts and was stuck on the side of the road. Nelson was prompt with arriving to me and not only took time and care with ensuring that I was safe but also getting my vehicle onto the truck when it was not an easy task. He then allowed me a moment to ensure I was having it towed to the best address and continued to take time and care in getting my vehicle off the truck and securely where it needed to go. He went above and beyond and I am so grateful for him and the experience as I was a little rattled. Although I hope to not be stuck on the road in the near future, I know that I can call them and will be more than taken care of!
There is SO much I could say, none of it good. Infact I deleted my original review, while completely honest and accurate not quite PG. So in the spirit of integrity all I'm going to say is go somewhere else!
Just had the bolts come out/shear off and the wheel went flying straight off my car. AAA sent these guys & Joey arrived promptly, got the wheel situated enough to get it on the tow truck & safely got me & my car to the shop.
He was kind, patient & polite.
Every time I use triple A, Torrington 4Wheel is dispatched ... they are amazing. Friendly, professional and careful w/ towing your vehicle. :) ~ Always a pleasure when they come to the rescue!
Triple AAA should reconsider their contract with this entity....my auto body shop was cursed at... then their calls were ignored to bring my vehicle to their shop...when I came to pay storage fees and retrieve my belongings 3 hours later I was charged a days storage ....cash only... suspicious....and I was cursed at because it was inconvenient for the owner .... unprofessional....nasty individuals....and if they were not contracted with AAA would use another company for tow needs if you want professional service and courteous service look for another shop
We called for a mutual customer after he towed the vehicle from the scene of an accident. He cussed at me and called the customer multiple vulguar names. I deal with this industry daily. I have NEVER come across someone so rude and unprofessional in my life.
Yesterday a gentleman came out to tow us, instead helped us start figuring out our problem, didn’t end up needing the tow after all and he didn’t charge us for his time. Will definitely be sending him something as a thank you. Also was the cheapest tow we found.
Although I am thankful - ‘Joe’ and some other guy came to fix a flat and didn’t introduce themselves or anything. Very rude and I wish I never came across them in my existence. Its just so astounding to me how little value people give to one another.
Circumstances outside of my control let me having to call a tow truck more times than I had like in the last 6 months these guys are completely professional the two gentlemen I had dealt with answered all of my questions even the frivolous ones. They handled my old Dodge like it was brand new off the showroom floor. when I called late at night they were there within minutes. These guys are top of the line. Remember to support your local business.
Joseph shows up for a job .. Needed my car towed.. Joseph seemed like he didnt want to get dirty so my neighbor comes to a conclusion for him. But guess what Joseph didnt do the job he Just left without a word!!! Very unproffesional. Will never call them or refer anyone to them! here iam woth my car stuck. Hey its ok Torrington 4 wheel.. Someone else will get paid to do the job!
AAA sent this company out to tow my car.. the driver said that they should be able to tow it no issue, but AAA had to approve.. AAA decided not to cover the tow since the hood was missing (not torrington 4 wheels fault, and I 100% understand that). While I was on the phone with AAA (which was a 1 minute phone call), the driver just left! I was going to ask the driver to tow the car and I would pay for it.. he was already here, and had the time allocated for this tow and I had no problem paying for it... but he never gave me the chance to ask about it.. just got in the truck and left without saying anything. very unprofessional! I called Laurel City Tow and they were here within the hour and towed my car to GB with no issues.
I have never been so impressed in a business to where I felt like I had to leave a review but I would be doing Joe a disservice by not giving a glowing review of this phenomenal shop. If you have any issues with your car this is the place for you.
