These guys are the best. I brought in some #1, #2 and ac coils. The way I packed the cart, I put some #1 under the coils. The #1 was missed and they gave me coil price (much less than #1). The next time I went in, a month or so later they told me about the mistake and paid me the difference! ?
To sum it up, they’re honest great guys, who might come off a bit rough, but they work at a scrap yard… what do you expect lol
Honestly been coming here for years, Has been a while but I called to make sure my number was still good and they said it never goes bad once you have it.
great place for recycling metals, batteries, fair prices gave me more for old golf cart/car batteries where as I only would get a store credit at the auto stores and sure as heck beat driving back to the store for a $5 core charge on one of the batteries.. I feel like I got more from taking them here, For all the reviews saying negative things, Cut these people some slack. Theres only what 2-3 of them running the show?

I had a trailer load of stainless steel with one piece of galvanized on part of a hood vent, and he said the whole load was steel. And that wasn't the first time they tried to screw me. Watch the spanish guy he's a crook!!
Do not go there, they did not weigh my brass right, there weight was 20lbs lower then it should have been, also the staff was really nasty and unhelpful, I talked to another person who went the liberty and had the same experience that I had, go to Albert brothers is Waterbury ct, they pay significantly more and are not rude and miserable
With my company I go to a lot of scrapyard this one by far is the worst one I have ever been to the lady at the front desk is the rudest person I've ever met completely miserable with herself so take it out on your customers the guy at the scale was just as rude as the lady at the front desk if you're miserable with your job find somewhere else to work If it wasn't for people bringing you guys scrap they won't be in business
Was my first time there. Guy working the yard/scale was extremely rude/disrespectful because I didn't know their process and had to ask prior to unloading and was in no way helpful .Woman working in office was nice enough to deal with though
That place has the worst service. They have you do all their work and pay you pennies for metal. If you bring more than one metal you will confuse them and they will not pay you what its worth. Rethink going there and find another scrap yard.

Wow can I tell you that that was the saddest excuse for costomer service I have ever experienced and that’s no way to run a business I don’t know how your still up and running but after that I’m Eagerly awaiting the downfall of this company

The other day I went there for the first time with 300 lbs of light metal and got $27 not worth the back pain or gas. If you have to clean your garage or yard then go for it anything is better than nothing but it's close to nothing
Prices are lower than most. The older guy that’s usually at the scale inside is rude and the woman in the office has a piss poor attitude and acts like you’re inconveniencing her
Great place to sell scrap. Unsure why there are bad reviews. I have been there quite a few times always quick and very helpfull and they always have given me great prices on my scrap never going thru the hassle and the long waits in waterbury also pretty sure they pay better prices also.
Not sure why the bad reviews. My experience was great. The guy in the back helped me with things, and explained what went where. The girl out front gave me way more money than I was expecting for my junk. I'll be back again.
Not worth your time or gas most days. Low prices and poor attitude at checkout. Some of the guys are helpful in the yard, but usually it's just a hassle and waste of gas. Go to Albert Bros. Or Watertown...
