Absolutely great service. I went there because I had trouble with starting my car. The staff checked everything out, including the alternator and found out that the issue was with the battery. They offered me a variety of choices in batteries. I absolutely recommend this store.
Great experience , had called about testing a battery that died early that morning . Came in and they tested right away . Bought a new one there and the younger gentleman Damon replaced the old with the new . Very polite , respectful and professional . Highly recommend .
O’Reilly Auto Parts in Torrington is fantastic! The store is clean, the staff is courteous and professional, and they have a solid supply of auto parts in stock. I was especially impressed with how easy it was to find what I needed for my Volvo. It’s great to have a dependable auto parts store right in town!
Out of the 5-6 orders i placed with these guys they got 4 of them wrong! Terrible store, will never return even if they are the last store in town. You are better off blindfolding yourself and trying to order online lol! Same probability of getting the parts right!
This past Saturday my second key fob was acting up, the battery was dying, the “1st one” had died a few months prior, and it’s most definitely a problem especially with today's cars.
I left work at 3, and headed straight to O’Reilly’s to get the batteries replaced, Dave who was working this afternoon was very helpful, and with the right tool got both fobs opened, and replaced the batteries quickly.

I ordered AND paid for a clutch kit that was promised to be here at 8 am today the LATEST. And I just went to pick it up and they said it will be here tomorrow. So I have a car disassembled in an auto shop that isn't open on the weekends.
I called all 3 part stores yesterday, and I finally talked to a guy named Bird at Orileys in Torrington. He was the only one who was beyond helpful and knew what he was talking about regarding MAP sensors / MAF sensors on a F150 Ecoboost. His knowledge and customer service was impeccable! I will definitely be reaching out to him for further assistance. Even Ford themselves weren't as helpful as this young man. Thanks again Bird!

My review is in regards to the quality of the parts and nothing to do with the staff members. I purchased a set of front brake pads and rotors for my Silverado and I was only able to get about 13,000 miles out of the pads before they wore down almost metal to metal. I only towed with the truck twice (and once was a small U-Haul trailer...maybe 700 lbs?). Your reputation is in direct proportion to the parts you sell and I promise you that I will never purchase anything from any of your locations due to the fact that these brakes should’ve lasted about three times longer. You need to find a better brake supplier.
Mary is amazing! Had an axle with a disc brake conversion and couldn't figure out what caliper was used. 20 mins of searching and we finally figured it out. Thanks again!
I was looking for a brush to clean my summer wheels and they had one in stock. Convienent as I was already in Torrington and driving right by. Was hoping the OEM Hyundai oil filter on the shelf fit my wife's car, but alas no. The employee at the register was friendly and him and his supervisor had a positive outlook for their long hours and close time of 9pm. Nice to see some consideration and kindness.
1st time going. Sales kid heard us mention about being less expensive elsewhere & told us they do price match. We ended up buying our parts from him. Nice kid. Was prompt & pleasant as well as helpful. Will go back.
Had a part that other stores needed several days to get for me. And it was ALSO cheaper, that the other LOCAL 2 BIG stores.
butttt it was a brake caliper and they only had one side. And Advanced had the other, so although O'Reilly WAS STILL CHEAPER. They were pretty much neck to neck 50/50 for selection. But that is fair because a brake caliper for a sevwral year old vehicle is a specialty part anyways. So anyways as far as other conditions go.
Store was clean (tho it is brand new), employees where VERY HELPFUL, but only had an "average level of knowledge"

The staff were not super friendly or polite however the job got done right the first time and i had no issues with any step of the process. The part i needed had to be ordered and as i said it was right the first time and they installed it for free.
