Habitat for Humanity's Restore is a great place to find a wide selection of used items. Save money by buying used. Reduce, Recycle, Reuse!

Fair prices that get dropped every week. Inventory changes frequently so it's worth being patient and returning if what you want isn't there the first time you go.

Large variety of used furniture and some building supplies (doors, windows, tile flooring, etc...). However, the furniture and appliances there are overpriced in my opinion due to the condition they are in.

Always a great place to visit with some friendly staff and great selections of quality pieces.

One of my favorite Restore locations! Bloomfield Restore is where it's at for flooring, paint, doors, and cabinets, along with a great selection of furniture and other household stuff. Keep an eye out for sales—we got a nice deal on fantastic butcher+block countertops because we happened in when they were 20% off. You can also find some nice decor items—I snagged a beautiful Murano glass vase for my Mom, who's an avid gardener. Volunteer groups are often present and, along with the regular staff, extremely helpful.

I love this place. Yesterday, they had a wide array of brand new kitchen cabinets, new chairs, and brand new butcher block counter tops--dirt cheap. They had some vintage furniture. The pristine vinyl records of classical music left me drooling--if I had a small record player, I would have bought them. They have paint, lights, appliances, dinnerware, and so much more!

I frequently stop by here to see what they have. I'm never disappointed by what I find. Good stuff, always work the trip.

Selection of furniture could have been better, was looking for kitchen cabinets but there were none when I went. Had gorgeous butcher block though!

They have a wide range of variety of furniture the staff are very polite and the managers are great.

Really bad prices and all that furniture donation? I just buy new them at the store. Paying 150 or 200 for a dresser that is old and bit ? You guys are nuts. ?

Always find what I'm looking for & only buy what I'm looking for ( although regularly find something gotta have) guys in there always helping with stuff to be loaded. Gotta love it ?

If you like to shop for previously owned furniture, art, fixtures, and architectural salvage (and so much more) while also helping a good cause, you definitely need to swing by the ReStore in Bloomfield. I always find something I didn’t know I needed, and I leave happy. Over the past couple years I’ve bought wall art, vintage Christmas ornaments, tiles, books, lightbulbs, carpet squares, lamps, fixtures, side tables, and mirrors. Two weeks ago, they had columns for $50 each, and I bought two for my home! It was also a 10% off day. Score! Check out what this location has!

“⭐ The Habitat for Humanity store in Bloomfield has been a part of my shopping routine for years, offering a sense of community and positive impact that my wife and I deeply valued. However, recent changes under the new management have significantly altered our experience for the worse. The shift in the store’s atmosphere is palpable, moving away from the warm and welcoming environment to one that feels negative and vindictive. This change in culture, seemingly overnight with the arrival of the new manager, has been disheartening. The new pricing strategy and product selection approach, aligning more closely with those of commercial home improvement stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot, also mark a stark departure from the accessible and community-focused ethos that Habitat for Humanity espouses. Items now remain on the floor for extended periods without price adjustments, diminishing the sense of finding value and contributing to a greater cause. On a personal note, some interactions have left me with a heavy heart, feeling as if there could be racially motivated undertones. I stress that this is a personal feeling and not a blanket statement about the store’s practices or policies. Such experiences have only added to the growing discomfort and disillusionment with the direction in which the store is heading. I sincerely hope this feedback prompts a reflection on the current management style and its impact on the community’s perception of the Habitat for Humanity mission. It’s crucial that the store revisits its core values of inclusivity, support, and positive community engagement. The essence of what made this store a cherished part of our lives seems to be fading, and I believe we can and should aspire to reignite that spirit for the betterment of all who walk through its doors.” The new manager isn’t a nice person at all.

Matt was extremely rude! I went into the store looking for a sliding door. I asked an associate for help and he came over. We were going through the sliding doors to pick one out. Matt came over and started yelling about how those items weren't for sale. He didn't know when they were going to be for sale. Then he started trying to tell me they were exterior sliding doors. ? That is no way to talk to a customer. I feel bad for the associate because who knows how he was going to talk to him after talking to me like that. With how hard it is to find work, Matt needs some training on how to talk to his employees and potential customers. Update: Matt, the sign was below my knees. If it was a big a safety issue as you suggest, then you should have had a tie wrapping the doors or a sign on the doors. Obviously, the sign is not noticeable to a customer AND an employee. You yelling at me for asking an associate for help is ludicrous. This doesn't sound like an apology. Why would I ever want to shop at a store when you have so many excuses for your rude behavior? No ownership.

Although this place has great stuff, they have resorted to exuberant pricing. I don't understand (isn't this stuff donations? ) ridiculous!! I will say that thier employees are terrific, helpful and friendly

This place is a treasure...start any home improvement project by going here...you'll save a ton of money! I got these carpet tiles for $1 each....did 210 sq ft for a FRACTION of what it would have cost elsewhere.

If you like big box discount stores and you like thrift shops....you'll love this place! They have a limited selection, but what they lack in selection is made up for in price! Especially good for first time home owners on a budget. Staff is incredibly helpful!

This place is amazing. You honestly never know what your going to find and at amazing prices. I have found everything from a dining set, tables and lighting. The staff/volunteers are always so helpful.

The prices here are high. You'd think since everything is donated, there's be some wiggle room. $1 sf for ugly tile?! Thanks I'll go to home depot and pick out tile I actually like for$.99 or less per sf. I literally saw better furniture by the side of the road on my way home. I gave them 3 stars because I was able to get a double oven for$100. I really hope it works.

In the land of used goods it really doesn't get any better than this place. I scored a Century Furniture couch, and an Ethan Allen Bureau out of here. Sometimes there is new furniture with tags still attached. They also have appliances and building supplies. Finding something specific may require multiple trips.

Wow! I’m impressed how discriminative they are towards children. I’m a stay at home mom (no nanny, no grandma) I obviously can’t leave baby at home alone. I was at the store looking for a bargain, my child is soon to grow out of crib, we need bed for her. A woman who’s working there came up to me, as we just about to leave, said:” we don’t allow children in here, I guess you’ve been here for a while, but we don’t allow kids in here”. My baby is barely walking. Are you kidding me! Really?!

They are looking for donations to help build their business. They offer a pickup service and you must get your donations approved before they will accept them. I had donated about 14 large furniture items that they did pickup. I have two more approved items for them, and was told they would not send a truck to pick them up, that I have to drop them off. I don't have a vehicle that a headboard will fit into and at my age I needed help just getting it to the garage. Sad when you are trying to help others and they tell you they can't send a 24 foot truck out just to pickup two items. Although when they schedule delivery their truck is making multiple pickups so it is filled up. Also my pickup location is about 5 to 6 miles from their location. Sad that a good usable item will now end up in the landfill helping no one, because I can't deliver it to them.

Good place, hit or miss with certain items but the items I have purchased there thus far include a children’s wood table with four chairs, a wicker/rattan set of chest, narrow dresser and wider dresser, and an older china cabinet. All items I purchased I am 100% satisfied with, both quality and cost (the value exceeded the cost). Staff there is helpful and friendly. Place is clean and pretty well organized, making it easy to find what you are looking for.

Eh, they have a limited selection of older furniture, appliances and the like. If you are looking for windows and doors in limited quantities not a bad place to shop. Also good for office furniture as they had an ample supply of chairs and desks that looked to be in good condition. There is likely a hit or miss factor here as new items are constantly coming in.

We love this place! You can find some great things, including brand new couches and tables donated from furniture stores, gently used, like new items from places like Pottery Barn, appliances, cabinets, pianos, pool and hockey tables, doors and light fixtures...they even have paint and lightbulbs. So many things. Come back often because they are putting new stuff out all the time and good finds go fast! The staff is so nice and helpful, making it one more reason we think ReStore is so wonderful!

I love this place! I go every chance I get, because the inventory changes. I've got so many incredible bargains, from huge mirror for $20 to a kitchen table for $40 to garden hand shears for a dollar!!

This place is a JOKE. $799 for a used shabby, small dining set that they got for free. $60 for one wobbly discolored lumpy table with no chairs included. The staff member we spoke to was pretty blunt & abrupt like she had no time for us. And she was like, "Well, we just set the price & people will pay it!" Like they were suckers. Never going back.

Great prices on many things. Do not ask them to adjust a price on anything though. They wont budge. Can definitely find some steals though. Bought a $20 GE dishwasher that works great.

I always find what I'm looking for here. Yes, the prices aren't dirt cheap, but they are always better than buying brand new. Better quality and you're helping a good cause. Ignore those rude reviews.. Everyone who works here is SO nice an helpful. I used to shop here all the time and bought a lot of big furniture. Since I didn't bring anyone to help load it, I would have to ask the workers to help me. They were so kind and even helped me tie things down and work the ratchet straps that I had no clue about! They also mark things down I believe once a month, so if you're looking for a great deal, find out those days and go then.
