Bloomfield Garage has been my go to place for almost forty years. I am very satisfied with their service and I highly recommend them for your automobile repairs. Francis and his staff has been a fine representation of great service to our community.

Ive been going to BG for years. I'm always created cordially, with an explanation of what will be done. They even asked me if I had a ride! There is a nice waiting area as well.

Bloomfield garage and all of the workers are so great to work with. Everyone takes the time to talk with you about what needs to happen, why and options. Great experience every time I have needed to go.

The staff here are very friendly and are willing to work with you. Everybody is very transparent and if you need to leave your car, i even heard them offer to help people get home to and from the shop. The establishment is very clean and tidy and there are snacks and beverages available for free. I will definitely be returning here for future services.

Always a warm welcome when I enter the door. Whenever I have service done to my vehicle, they always explain in details what's needed. They always call if there is any additional parts needed to complete the job.

Unfortunately the service is not what it used to be since they had their remodel. I brought my car in because the “check emission system” light was on which I ended up being just a sensor that needed to be replaced according to them. They replaced the sensor for almost $500 and when I asked why it was so much, the woman who answered the calls said because we have to pay out techs more since the remodel. She then proceeded to try and upsell me on routine maintenance items and when I questioned her, she said she was sure they needed to be done. So, I called Honda and sure enough what she said was not accurate. To make matters worse, fast forward only ONE AND HALF MONTHS LATER, I’m driving to work today and the sensor light is back on. Initially, I wasn’t going to leave a bad review, but since this work was almost $500 and it don’t resolve the issue, I wanted to share my experience. Another reason is because my mother had a similar experience where she brought her car there for a hesitation issue, we paid several hundred dollars, picked the car up and had to turn back around because the issue was not resolved. Extremely dissatisfied.

Recently Bloomfield Garage replaced the exhaust system on my 2010 Honda Fit. Mike was able to find after market parts which saved me a tremendous amount of money. My wife, 3 kids, and myself have been taking our vehicles to Bloomfield Garage since 1989 and wouldn’t go anywhere else!! The work ethic and honesty always shows with owner Francis, and before that with his father. And the staff have always been polite and professional….In this day and age those traits are especially appreciated!!!

Great, quick service. My car battery died on Sunday. They replaced it by 8:15 Monday morning. That was obviously really excellent service.

My experience with Bloomfield Garage was excellent. They made space for me the day before the holiday. My car was repaired the same day and I think the price was more than fair. They also did a diagnostic and explained not only what was done but suggested possible repairs in the future. No pressure just info that I needed. I will definitely use Bloomfield Garage in the future.

Very impressed with their service. Went in for a simple wheel alignment. They gave me an option. Took the simple alignment thinking I wouldn’t need recalibration of driver warning system. Most places would probably hardball sell the more expensive option. I tested the lane keep assist and it’s still works like it always has. Now here’s the thing that impressed me even more. They not only filled the air in my tires, but they took the extra step of reading the door jam for the correct psi. Everywhere else fills all 4 tires the same psi where the specs are different for front and rear. I was highly recommended coming here and now I know why.

This place is really fantastic. It’s always stressful trying to find a mechanic or shop you can actually trust. We’re new to the area, and I needed quite a bit of work done on an older car I was giving to my mom. They gave me a very thorough list of all the potential issues and helped me prioritize what was most important so I could stay within my budget, but make sure the car was safe & reliable. It ended up being about $1,800 worth of work, but every price was more than fair compared to my past experiences with other shops. A day after getting the car back, I noticed a loud squeal coming from a replaced belt. I called to let them know, and they had me bring it right in. Not only did they fix the belt issue immediately, but they also addressed two other minor problems contributing to the noise, completely free of charge. They didn’t have to do that, but it was definitely appreciated. Their customer service department is also incredibly nice and helpful. Michaela was wonderful to work with and made the whole process easy from start to finish. I will absolutely be trusting them with my other vehicles in the future. Honest, professional, and genuinely great people to work with.

About 6 weeks ago: Oil change and minor fix to front grill that had loosened. Checked out strange tire well noise. Performed additional regularly scheduled maintenance per mileage of car. This week: Performed various other regular maintenances, changed spark plugs, placed the FL axel. All work was performed as agreed upon, everyone was polite and professional. Matt goes out of his way to answer questions thoroughly and never makes me feel like an idiot. Additionally, the repair bills are very reasonable and often less than the quoted amount.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else! The customer service is wonderful! So knowledgeable and kind! The mechanics are always spot on! A family run business that makes you feel like family, Francis the owner runs a business above and beyond! Many thanks to Gary and his team! And to Michaela and her team, and of course Matt. I’m very grateful for years of trust worthy service! I have never left disappointed. I highly recommend you! May I also say the renovation up front is fantastic. Especially if you’re going to wait for a service. Great area to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold beverage!

I have been going to Bloomfield Garage for many many years of trusting service. I always feel it is like a family that I can trust them with my SUV knowing that it will always be fare price and them backing up their service always if there is a problem. I wish them all the very best to continue as they always did to service well and be honest to those they serve.

They are always willing to explain the repair and answer your questions. They are patient and kind and do not take offense if you don't understand them the first time. They do a great job and stand behind their work. I have been going there over five years. My old Honda is still cruising at 245,000.

I just moved to Bloomfield and found Bloomfield Garage through the neighborhood network. The reviews were many and outstanding. I had the same experience. They diagnosed the problem, called right away with the solution, and quoted a very fair price. It wasn’t a routine repair and they were very creative, finding an effective repair at the best price point possible. And did it all in one day. I drive an Audi Q7 with high mileage. After the shield fell a few days later when driving, the garage replaced the shield free of charge without question. I am very happy with the car you sold me at a price I can afford. I realize the garage made sure the car was safe to drive with safety inspection and replaced brakes with no extra cost. I do appreciate and highly recommend Bloomfield Garage.

I have worked with Bloomfield Garage for maintenance on several vehicles over the last five years and have always been pleased with the staff and service provided.

I have been there a few times in past year. I am impressed, they are knowledgeable, pleasant & friendly. It reminds me of a garage I went to in the 1970's & 80's. I was heartsick when they closed. Since then I have usually used the dealer, I was less than pleased. I risked engine damage due to their negligence. My neighbor told me about Bloomfield, stating that all the church ladies go there. Well I'll wrap this up but do give them a try, you won't be disappointed. For a business that offers honest work for standard prices Bloomfield garage is a gem. Also the women that man the front, they never appear rushed when speaking with you, very pleasant & efficient plus, & this blew me away, they too seem to have some knowledge about repairs.
