If I can give them a zero I would. I called first explaining the model and year of my car and that I needed a battery and they said they had it in stock & will be able to put it in for me when I got there they simply said it was a warning label stating that they couldn’t do it only the dealership could. Wasted my time

I came to the Bloomfield establishment to replace a battery. I was serviced by Luis around 9 am. He requested I removed the battery and he refused to give me my warranty due to policy. I agreed with his decision, and asked to purchase a battery because I explained to him that I was in an emergency situation with the car. A young woman on his shift interjected and replaced Luis. When I was proceeding to buy the battery, the young woman’s uncle cut in front of me and escalated the situation. He stated that was his family and I asked him to wait his turn. She asked for the model and year of the car. I told her, she charged me for the wrong battery that doesn’t fit my car. Then refused to assist me. She said I had an attitude because I didn’t want to talk about the warranty subject anymore and move on with the transaction. After we clarified it was the wrong battery, she went to get the proper battery. Then tried to charge me again without refunding the previous transaction. They also kept my old battery and didn’t give me the core charge. Afterwards I grabbed the proper battery and Luis pushed me and snatched the battery from me. The girl was cursing me out screaming from the top of her lungs. I felt very uncomfortable and intimidated by the service i received. I’m never going to this location again. I wanted to report this to anyone in Autozone who can help. I also called the branch, but I didn’t get in touch with the manager.

Shout out to Luis @ the Bloomfield CT branch. He helped me installed my new headlight LED bulbs on my F150 this morning. Very helpful, professional & respectful. ??

This store is amazing! Went in, needed help with a battery, and Luis changed it for me. He was so helpful, and knowledgeable. Also, store is sooo clean!

I went here just to have someone check my alternator, but the employee was kind enough to also check my starter and battery as well.

Not a great first experience at this store. I was looking for rear brakes about a week ago. The Canton store said the Bloomfield store stocked the brake pads I needed. So, I drove about 35 min to get here. Once at the counter, I worked with an older male sales associate and I gave him car model and info and told him I was sent here from the Canton store. He told me, oh we don't have them. I said, how can that be if I just called here looking for the D900 pads? He checked again and said, oh you want those? I said, yes, as I had said earlier. He said, oh, well, those will only last you 3 to 6 months. I said, I'm coming here 3 years after for replacement and that's because 1 caliper was frozen, otherwise I'd get 4 years out of them. He contested assertively, no they won't last that long. I said, Yes they will, look at my receipt here from 3 years ago!! He said nothing after. Maybe he realized he was wrong, that's why he said nothing after. Next, I said, I also need the hardware brackets to go with it. He said ok. Now, a trucker, assuming their parts trucker came to the counter and interrupted the sales associate working with me to ask him if they wanted a stockpile of gummy bears. This conversation lasted at least a good 2 minutes. I was actually in a rush to get to a function. Neither one of them, specially, the sales associate were apologetic for interrupting my transaction. Just ring me up and let me keep going! After he finally rung me up, I said to him, Don't tell people they will last 3 to 6 months when you don't know. I'm my own mechanic and driver of my own vehicle so I know best!! Next day, I'm ready to install the brakes and realized the sales associate never included the hardware brackets like I had requested, so I was stuck using old crusty hardware. The sales associate wasn't great at all at his job forgetting the hardware, interrupting my transaction and not apologizing for it and arguing with me about how long the pads will last. My advice is, if you're reading this, you have one job and it is to sell, not to argue with people. Stick to that one job and you may see your ratings go up past the 1 star!!

The staff here is excellent. They helped me get my car back on the road. Best staff at AutoZone I've had the pleasure to deal with. Kudos to the entire staff here.

Wanted to give a shout out to an Auto Zone employee Nicholas who assisted me today with putting on new wiper blades on a cold February pouring rainy day! He went above and beyond and for that I appreciate it. I've noticed something about Nicholas that's always stuck with me when I'm in Auto Zone...his friendly smile, positive outlook and helpfulness. Great staff!!

I recently shopped at AutoZone in Bloomfield, Nicolas was incredibly knowledgeable, patient & helpful in assisting me to find the items I needed. The store itself was clean and well-organized, making my shopping experience a breeze. I highly recommend Bloomfield AutoZone!

I just want to say thanks a lot to the helpful hands of Nicholas during moments of cold temperature when I was stuck with a car that was not working as it should i.e. no heat and windshield washer fluid. Nicholas guided me to the correct products, was patient and calm throughout the whole process as I am a woman and knows little about cars. He then proceeded to go above and beyond to pour the windshield washer fluid in my vehicle along with the antifreeze and ensured everything was okay. I noted these were not something Autozone workers are expected to do but he did it anyway which shows not only excellent customer service but left a lasting impression in my mind about Autozone and ensuring it is my place of choice for all my autoparts needs. Nicolas helped me transform my car. He helped me find stuff to revive my car having it sound way better than it was. Car was low on everything even oil. He helped changed my windshield wiper, refill wiper fluid and steering fluid and much more. And he was ver cooperative. Any time I’m back I have to look for him.

After searching 3 different places for some special electrical connectors for a small battery, I took a chance and stopped by AutoZone on Blue Hills Ave. In Bloomfield. Krysta was a genius and found all the right items for me to do my project. As a female, I can't tell you how refreshing it was to find an another female working in this store! She's a keeper!!

I called ahead to see if they could change the battery in my car key and was told yes. Once I arrived I handed over my keys but was told within 30 seconds I needed to contact my dealership to have my key reprogrammed because it didn’t have a battery...She literally glanced at the key and said no. She could have at least attempted to help me. Not hide on the side of a wall so she isn’t seen by the line of customers waiting. After running around trying to make an appointment with my dealer I was told that I DID NOT NEED REPROGRAMMING! With the help of a friend I was able to open the key myself and change the battery. What a waste of my time. If you don’t know anything about cars, parts, and keys why are you working at an auto part store? I feel they should at least know the basics of common cars like Chevy, Nissan, and Honda… The Hartford location is A LOT MORE HELPFUL!

I when there to buy a car battery and the young lady who help me was wonderful. She really was very knowledgeable about her job and she was as nice as can be. She replaces my car battery very quickly and I was on my way in no time. I would definitely recommend Auto Zone on Blue Hills Avenue.

I was asked did i need assistant as i entered i did need assistant because i didn't know what isles my items were. I felt the question and the attention was needed. Friendly staff great location. Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice( ILL BE BACK)..

(Jan. 2021) We have made many parts purchases at the Bloomfield AutoZone for a total of five cars our family currently owns. They include everything from brakes, pads, and rotors to water pumps, belts and hoses, to alternators, batteries, and starters. (We have mechanics we trust to do the installations.) If a part needs replacing within its guarantee, they cheerfully replace it. They have almost always been able to retrieve the records of previous purchases in order to verify the guarantees. Their prices are competitive. Whenever a purchase is large enough for us to comparison shop, their price is better than or so close to the competition's we end up buying there. We usually deal with Sheron. She is very knowledgeable and helpful; if there is a choice of brands or any additional purchase we need to make, like lubricants with brakes, she will make intelligent recommendations. She knows us well, treats us with respect, and will do all she can to set right any problems we have. Five stars.

I bought a gas cap online but due to COVID shipping delays, I ended up getting another one elsewhere. When the gas cap arrived, I went to this AutoZone to return it. I arrived shortly after they opened. The cashier told me they couldn’t do refunds in the morning and that I would have to come back midday. I was perplexed by this policy and frustrated as it was my only day off and was up early running errands because I had things to do later in the day. I asked if this policy was company-wide, and she said yes because they don’t have enough cash in the morning for returns. I explained that I paid online with a card and could be refunded back to my card. She called her boss on her cell phone to ask if she could do the return. I’m assuming he/she said yes because after she hung up she was able to process my return without issue (refunded to my card, no cash exchanged.) The cashier was polite and professional. My review reflects this “midday or later only return policy” which I’m not sure is correct, and if so, should be communicated to customers in the product return instructions.
