Great service! I recently purchased a completely restored 1973 BMW 2002, and soon needed a clutch repair. I was nervous about finding the right shop to work on it. Several people recommended Rob’s shop. I contacted Robert who coordinated everything. Robert communicated well and was easy to reach. The owner, Rob, explained the process in advance and performed the repairs perfectly. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone with a classic BMW.
My 2015 X5 needed a lot of work and Rob and his team did a great job resuscitating it at a reasonable price.

The best BMW team around! My 2009 528i needed a lot of work and each time I took it into the shop, they knocked it out if the park with a quick turn around too! The head light restoration was exceptional! Rob and his team are the best!

Rob (owner) is hands down the best mechanic I have ever had. First thing I noticed when I entered his shop is that he regularly services BMWs from the 80s and 90s. He knows how to keep these cars running. I had several issues with my 2010 BMW including an oil leak, hose damage, engine mount damage, valve damage, amongst other issues. Rob diagnosed and fixed them all quickly and for a fair price.
Rob and his team go above and beyond while holding themselves to the highest ethical standards. When I had several repairs done with Rob, he also identified a leaky radiator that was still under warranty. Rob told me it should be under warranty and even worked with the local BMW dealer to get it fixed! He could have prob just fixed it and charged me, but he knew it would be covered and made sure I had it done for free.
Another time, I had a check engine light and an out of town BMW dealership told me it would cost $4000-$5000 to fix the car. They did not tell me that some of the repairs would be covered under my SULEV warranty. Rob had me bring the car in because he thought they would be covered under the SULEV warranty, confirmed his suspicions, and even worked with a separate BMW dealership to identify and fix those covered repairs. This saved me at least $2000.
Rob is the real deal and my only regret is I didn't find him sooner. If you have a BMW and you need a repair, go to Bimmer Connection. You won't regret it.
I want to thank Rob and his team for fixing my car, I went to BMW Rusnak to fix a problem with loss of power that my 650 had and they charge me over $1200 to fix it and they didn’t fix it right

Rob was super helpful and willing to take the time when I called. Since buying my first BMW I’ve brought it here already twice to make sure everything is as it should be. It is nice to feel comfortable dropping your car off at an automotive shop and know that the techs will take care of everything the right way. Had an oil leak diagnosed and then had the fuel breather valve replaced on my E92 M3.
I brought in my speed racer to have the drive shaft swapped out, and although part delays outside of Rob's control caused further delays, he provided me with daily updates and pictures. I truly appreciated that. Thank you again, Rob.
I've owned a BMWs since 1997 and been to and seen many other mechanics in LA & Ventura counties. Rob is THE BEST. Another BMW mechanic in Thousand Oaks told me to scrap my BMW because he could not fix an electrical problem. Took it to rob at Bimmer Connection and they fixed it. Maybe is not a place you can take your car in morning and get it back by Noon, but if you want Quality Service, Proper Diagnosis (not just replacing random parts and hope it works), friendly Owner that explains things to you, Rob and his shop is THE BEST place for your BMW. I have 608,000 miles on my 1997 328i BMW, not by accident.

Rob is amazing, I just moved into town and have a German car that needed a brake light bulb replaced, rob went out of his way to help me and did not charge a penny. I am definitely returning back for car servicing and other bigger repairs.
I finally found a BMW specialist I can trust. Rob &Tig have been servicing my last 2 Bimmers for 4 years now. After bad experiences with local BMW "professionals", I finally found someone I can totally trust. Both Rob & his brotherTig, both formerly BMW master techs at the BMW dealer, have gone over & above to accommodate me. I recently had knee surgery & they came to my home, picked up my car, serviced it & returned it the next day. Additionally, they are 100% honest. My 428i was due for the 60,000 mile service which includes spark plug replacement. Rob said it had previously been done, so he didn't charge me for that. I would have never known. That is the kind of honesty which is invaluable. There are so many other instances Rob has saved me which has earned my loyalty for life. This is my 5th BMW. My son has my 2002 325i. Although he is 200 miles away, because I trust Rob so much, I am going to bring the car to Rob & Tig for service. It has 220,000 miles & is still running like a German clock because of the care Rob put into it. I recommend Bimmer Connection to all Bimmer owners who value professional care & most importantly, honesty.
I was recently introduced to "Bimmer Connection." He was recommended to me by a close friend in passing and I told him, we already have a great mechanic my husband uses named Rob. Come to find out, Bimmer Connection is owned by Rob where we've been going for awhile. Last week, I had to take my 2013 328i to check on a "service engine" light. Rob did a diagnostic on it and suggested that I call the dealership because there was a very good possibility that the problem might be under warranty/ recall. I was really impressed because I knew he didn't have to tell me that. He could have just repaired it and I would never have known. I picked up my car, took it to the dealership and they called me the next day to lmk it was definitely under warranty so no cost to be but if it there was a cost, it would have been over $5000.00!!!! Rob is incredibly honest, takes his time explaining the problem and the solution. He even told me although the light was on, it wasn't anything that needed to be attended to urgently. I was so appreciative of his honesty and grateful we have a mechanic we can trust!!! I HIGHLY recommend him.
I had learned about Rob and his shop from an advertizing video I created for him some time ago. During that visit videotaping Rob in his shop and listening to his customers testimonials, I quickly realized just how much respect his customers had for Rob's abilities as a BMW expert mechanic, needless to say, I was impressed. Well, I recently bought a used BMW and it needed a couple things repaired, and I immediately thought of Rob as my "go to" BMW mechanic. Best decision I made was allowing Rob to troubleshoot my car and in no time, I was driving away completely satisfied and had peace of mind knowing my car was running like new again. This place was recommended by a neighbor of mine. I have never ever had this kind of service before. The owner is very hands on and does a lot of the work himself. They are honest, courteous and knowledgeable. As far as I am concerned they have a customer for life.
The staff is wonderful, friendly, and so knowledgeable when it comes to BMW. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my car. I've had my share of unpleasant dealer experiences with incompetent advisors, technicians, and managers. But this place is not only knowledgeable but is also honest and upfront.
The staff is wonderful. A friend referred me here, and my experience was nothing short of amazing. They were a little out of the way, but they gave me the best deal, and are very trustworthy. They value your concerns, and they have a lot of knowledge. I highly recommend them.
Had various work done on 2 different bmws at BimmerConnection. For a last service before shipping my cars to the east coast for a relocation I had $3k in work done to my 535i which included an oil pan seal fix. Long story short the pan continued to leak and because I was on the east coast now it was a nightmare trying to get proper documentation from Rob (BimmerConnection) so BMW could cover the assumed OEM seal issue or refund me the cost so I can get my car fixed correctly. I thought I was getting OEM parts installed but to my surprise when I asked Rob for documentation he forwarded me to Bob Smith BMW where I guess he got the parts. Apparently the seal(s) was not OEM hence BMW would not cover this repair issue. At the end of the day I had to pay another BMW dealership on the east coast $1200 to redo Bimmer Connections work which is ridiculous. Not happy at all!!
Without any doubt in all my years in dealing with mechanics Rob is by far the best and I have no hesitation in referring him to all my family and friends. He is quality and honest. My car is in great hands.
