My experience in buying my 2016 Ford Focus at Evans Auto was EXCEPTIONAL! I can’t say enough good things about Leo. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient and above all, honest. When we bought the car, there was an issue with the starter. They immediately got the car fixed and double checked everything else again to make sure it was sound. He and Garrett went above and beyond to make sure everything was in perfect condition. And it is! My Ford Focus runs like a brand new car. I would DEFINATELY recommend Evans Auto!! only bad car buying experience i’ve ever had. sold me a damaged car without telling me. sold me an ac less car without telling me in june and i live in the desert.. bought a convertible and it has worked twice. they offered to “fix” it which was nice except i had to drive 4 hours and its not fixed. they send money for the ac that i paid someone to fix which would’ve been nice except the convertible top does not work.
i told them i wanted to return the car, since the convertible doesnt work.
leo said: “too bad, that’s your car now”
leo and garret look nice and talk nice but if they’ll sell me a broken convertible and say too bad, can’t imagine anyone would have a good experience considering mine.
if i wanted a sketchy car i could’ve gone to the auction. i chose them cuz i thought they’d do their due diligence. they didn’t. they made 3k+ off me and won’t make it right.
it’s been a month since i left messages and haven’t heard back. garret and leo let me down in a huge way. my dream car.. and i make min wage. egregious
Just wanna share my personal experience. I bought a 2014 Ford Focus SE a few days ago. I got to test drive it quick and easy. The car drive smooth. Drove phenomenal. Drove it on the city streets and highway. After I drove the car Iet the car idle at the dealership for 20 minutes to look for anything funny and no problems. These dudes are legit. When a car comes in, they look for any defects. Interior, exterior, engine.. and they will let it be known. They will never sell you a car that will be “ too good to be true “. They want you to know if you buy a car here, they will not want you to worry about any problems once you leave. They do their due diligence to make sure the car is ready out the door. This is coming from a car enthusiast. I’m into JDM cars and I was looking for a daily driver for my weekend 2004 STi. It’s currently getting built so I need a reliable daily driver to get to work and Leo helped me with his process. I highly recommend this dealership!!
I can’t say enough good things about Leo. I wanted to trade my old Jetta with a fuel efficient SUV. I'm a single mom who's had some BAD experiences buying cars (drunk sales guy, finance guy asking me on a date in the MIDDLE of trying to sign the contract, a year added to a lease, hidden added fees). When it came time for my son to purchase his first car, I was nervous about going to a dealership. Leo spent hours on the phone going over ALL the financials and different options (lease vs. purchase). He did all the negotiating for me (didn't have to set foot in a dealership!) and made sure we were able to get the BEST deal for my son. The numbers were exactly what he said they would be, there was no haggling or "oh, that's extra" or any surprise charges/fees. Well car shopping is not my favorite thing to do in the world as a single white female lol.. yet the experience I had was painless (thank you).
