Do not come here if you want good tires, they give bald tires for way to expensive of a price, not only that the tires will come with patches. Instead go to discount tire in Paso you can get a way better tire for cheaper and its NEW.
Was out in Pozo 4bying and broke my shock. It’s my only vehicle and these guys fixed it in a couple of hours even though they were busy. It’s my only truck and on a Saturday they were able to get it done! I appreciated the professionalism and authenticity. I would recommend these guys.
I scheduled an appointment for my 4runner at 10am on a Saturday. I was there at 950am, the shop was closed at 1019am a guy walked up the hill and opened the shop. Strike one. This employee knew nothing about my appointment, no big deal. So I leave my car to get some P430 code figured out, a transmission flush and an oil change. 4 hours later I called to check progress. They told me it was my catalyic converter and that I don't need a transmission flush, ok cool, still want the oil change. 4 hours go by and I call again, he stated they were swamped but that the oil change would be done by 545pm. I show up at 545pm and the guy comes walking out and asks if I have 10 more minutes so they can get the oil change done. I told them no, im good. They didn't open on time, had my car for an entire day and did absolutely nothing to my car while they had it, besides read the code that I already told them about (I have a code reader). He did apologize and said he wanted to make it right and that he would send me a text Monday morning on the price of a catalyic converter. He never contacted me again. Also I took it to my regular mechanic( not open on Saturdays which is the only reason I went to this location) and he told me it's not the cataylic converter it was an ECU issue. At the end of the day I will never give Gutierrez Auto any of my business and I would highly recommend you don't either. In my life I have never seen such horrible service. He could of just told me they couldn't get to it and I would of picked my car up. Completely wasted my time and then had the nerve to say he wouldn't charge me for the code diagnosis which was the same diagnosis I provided to him. Also I had batteries that needed replacement in my tire pressure sensors which they told me they could not do, why does it say Gutierrez Auto Repair and Tires and you can't replace batteries inside of tires. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS MECHANIC.
Julio and Cesar were so helpful when I needed help with my car! They took me in on a Sunday and finished the work in a timely manner, fair price, great workers!

Drove up from San Diego for a concert. One hour away from Paso Robles, the AC of our Nissan Rogue died. When we arrived, we also heard a nasty sound. We weren't sure whether we could drive home safely. I brought the car in around 4, they checked it out for about twenty minutes and gave me the news that I needed a new compressor and it wasn't safe to drive because of how everything is connected on one belt on this car, it was possible further dangerous problems could happen down the road. But, they offered to source the parts an hour away and fix it that night so I could get home. It was expensive (due to the nature of the repair), but necessary and I am now safely in my car heading home and I can't think of another mechanic that would have worked into the night to help a person get home on a Sunday! Wish this mechanic was actually near my house! I would use them again in a heartbeat.
I'm an Uber driver. The guy saved my butt!!! My starter died Thursday night. Friday morning I found the part in a local O'Reilly and I started calling around to see if anybody could install it the same day, so I would not lose the income from the entire weekend. Everywhere I called I heard "next Tuesday, maybe Wednesday" and a lot of them added "oh, if you supply your own part we can't guarantee the work" which is code for "we're making money off the parts so we don't want to use what you have." This guy said "come on down". Two hours later, as he promised, the starter was installed for the price he promised it. I'll be back!
I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in right before closing and they treated me with great customer service. Family owned business. They were quick to diagnosis that my car was overheating due to the radiator, water pump and thermostat. I recommend them highly to anyone!
Great experience here. Julio was very kind, honest and checked my tires quickly and efficiently without charge. Will be back for other services. Highly recommended.
They were closing Saturday at 6 when we called 2 minutes to 6 and he stayed to fix our tire so we could leave Sunday at 5 in the morning. Very nice ands great service.
My husband took our Honda here with a coolant leak. The next day they told us the car was ready and that we didn’t have a leak, which was a lie and performed an oil change without asking us or getting confirmation that we wanted them too. They overfilled the oil and didn’t tell us. Our car was making a strange sound after. My husband had to check and found they had added too much. They charged $250 and almost ruined our car. We will never be using their “services” again. Scammers! My advice, never take your vehicle here.
So impressed with the level of service from this shop. We were in a bind late in the day on a Saturday and called 10 minutes prior to closing time. Not only did they take my call but John personally came out to our house and quickly helped us diagnose the issue and offer solutions. I’ve never had service like that from a repair shop or mechanic. Could not recommend them more.
Excellent place with excellent people, we were traveling and our car stopped working in the middle of the freeway, it was the only place open at the time and they were very professional and super nice because that can be a traumatic experience, they fixed the car very quickly and gave us an unbeatable price, we are very happy we found them .. 🙏🙏 thank you very much!!!!
It was late in the evening when I got a flat tire. They kept the shop open past their clong time until I got there to get a new tire. The whole crew was happy to assist me.
Excellent experience! Called for a quote on brakes and Julio beat everyone on the best price. Rear brakes and rotors on my car are very difficult to do and include dropping the control arm and dismounting the strut, which is why I didn't want to do it myself. They got both sides off and back on in about an hour and were extremely courteous. I would recommend this shop to anybody. Julio and his father are stand-up guys and charged me what they quoted me, despite it being a tougher job than they anticipated.
My family and I were driving from Fresno to Morro Bay and I our tire shredded due to potholes in Atascadero. It was almost 6pm on a Friday. All the shops were closing and no spare tire! A real s.o.l. time because many places were closed til Monday. I called Gutierrez auto repair and they were so friendly! A father and son owned business and they were so kind. Helped us get a tire, change it, and way more help than they should have. My family Isa little extra and they were so nice. Thank you Charro and Julio. Mucha respeto
Engine light came on while on our way to SF. We stopped by here and although he was not able to repair my vehicle due to a major engine issue and the possibility of warranty being involved, he was professional and courteous from start to finish. Seemed honest as well. He was able to at least offer a few recommendations.
Amazing work. My 2013 Honda Civic was making a loud noise when I would brake, so I called, Julio answered, and I brought the car in right away (an hour before closing). I drove around the neighborhood to show him the sound, and then Julio and his team got to work on it right away. He realized it might take a little bit of time, so he dropped me off at my place and said he'll give me a call when it's ready. Julio called me at 9am the next morning to tell me it was done. He even picked me up in the car, and we drove to the shop together! Now the brakes feel smooth and quiet.

An absolute savior! Driving from LA and check engine turned on. Found them and they were able to get me back on the road. Exceptional service and care.
My truck was overheating and eating water like crazy on our drive from Fresno to Pismo. We got here and he came right out to check it. Find out it was the water reservoir right away so he called around and find a replacement went and picked it up, installed it and filled it with coolant! We were done in an hour! Not to mention he was super nice and made us laugh. I will definitely come here again.
Honest and friendly people. I was on a military training and I was about to leave to go home in 3 days and they took care of me right away even though they were busy. They showed me the broken parts and after they replaced the parts.
