The guys at Big Brand Tire here in Atascadero are the best! I had several questions for them and they patiently answered all of them and when I left they ran over to help me load my wheels and tires!
Big Brand Tire is my go to place for tire and brake work, but this location in Atascadero was top notch! The customer service was great, they were timely and I was also able to add on getting my reverse lightbulb fixed. I highly recommend this location.
I love Big Brand Tire. I am always treated well. Always knowledgeable front desk associates that inform me of what they see I need...but never try to sell me something or a service that I don't understand or need. So many places take advantage of women. I have donee business with Big Brand for at least 15 years if not more. Highly recommend.

Amir and the team are so down to earth and they were really passionate about getting us back on the road safe and sound. Our radiator exploded on us and left us stranded, can't stress how much they and the auto shops in the area all went our of their way to ensure they got us a new one and take care of us. We’ve been coming here to maintain our vehicle and they always take care of us in a timely manner. I go in thinking I just need an oil change then it turns out I need to have all 4 tires replaced. You would think this is some sort of up sale but no. They walked me over to show me EVERYTHING wrong. With proof and how long till it becomes a significant problem. I trusted the associate and the quote he provided and now my vehicle drives like new. Loved all the repairs and just took about 2-3 hours. THANK YOU ATASCADERO BIG BRAND

They always try too work with customer and make it a good experience. They acknowledged a competitors price and gave us that pricing with free services with purchase. We take all our cars there.
Normally I don’t do reviews, however, the exceptional customer service that the Manager provided to not just me but every customer that came in despite managing multiple issues all while juggling non stop calls all on his own is worth the time to do so. Derek was not only professional but he was kind to every one that walked in no matter the customers approach. He for sure will be the reason I return should I have a future tire need.

Real good people. Went in today with my rental car because I had a screw in my driver side rear tire. Decided to get the tires rotated as well since the front ones looked a bit worn but the rear tires still looked fresh (Car has a little over 20K miles on with with what looks to be it's factory tires). Garret, Derek, and the gang were great and quick to do the puncture repair along with both the tire rotation and tire pressure sensor resets. I was expecting to be there for about an hour and a half but everything was done after only 45 minutes. I was there talking to them and other customers and the 45 minutes just flew by (lol). In addition, they offer the services performed and others for free! Great people and great customer service!! From someone traveling (I'm from the Fresno/Clovis area), this is a great place to take your vehicle for any of your car service needs and I will most definitely bring my own vehicle in next time I'm in town. Derrick, Amir, and Dawson were professional and their customer service was on point. The district manager Fernando was also amazing. I had an issue and they did everything they could to fix the problem and solve the issue.
I can’t say enough great things about this business. My car was done in record time and the staff is always so helpful! I also love that they have the best prices in Atascadero.
I made an appointment to change tires and clearly asked if 2 hours is enough time to change tires and was told yes.
I showed up 15 early to my appointment and told the person at the counter that I had only 2 hours available to change tires and was told no problem, plenty of time.
Ah hour later no one started working on my car, at which point I asked again if they gonna make it with in next hour, at this time they said they need a minimum of an hour an half to get it done, therefore it won’t be done that day.
What is a point of making an appointment if no one is gonna preform the work.
I observed everyone at this location leisurely walking around in no rush on getting anything done.
I ended up wasting my time siting around and didn’t get the tires changed.
I decided to call their customer service to make a complain and was told the manager will contact me to get this resolved.
Guess what? No one called me.
Obviously they don’t really care.
I’ve been at this place 5 times and this is the last time I’m using them…every time it’s a same story, you make an appointment just to sit around for 4-6 hours hoping they will get it done.
I went next door to Americas tire co and paid almost same price for same tires and got it done right away..I didn’t have to wait for hours or be treated like idiot.
Don’t use Big Brand tire..don’t give them your money, take your business to places where they care about you and understand who pays their bills.
Now the “owner” responded with generic attachment to my review on how sorry they are for my inconvenience.
Your response is insufficient to the problems you have and how the customers are being treated…no one ever called me back to resolve anything. Your response is a pretence to fix something you don’t care about.
That’s why you won’t get my business anymore because you don’t care of how this place is managed and how your customers are treated.
I can't say enough good things about the service I received! I stopped in without an appointment, hoping to get a brake and tire inspection done, and the service manager Jason went above and beyond to fit me in the same day. They were professional, friendly, and truly made me feel like a valued customer. The process was quick, smooth, and stress-free. It's rare to find this level of customer service anymore, and I really appreciate the extra effort they put in to help me out. I'll definitely be coming back for future service needs-highly recommend!
🚨 Community Alert: My Experience at Big Brand Tires in Atascadero 🚨
Last week, I took Rambo—my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 (4x4, 5.9L Cummins Diesel, Quad Cab)—to Big Brand Tires in Atascadero for four new 35" all-terrain tires and an oil change. While it was in the shop, I received a call recommending a front-end alignment, which I approved.
When I picked up the truck, I immediately noticed something was off: the steering had excessive play and it pulled hard to the right. I chalked it up to the new tires needing to settle in.
A few days later, my business partner at SLO Goats & Sheep hooked Rambo to a livestock trailer carrying 30 adult goats and sheep. The truck’s performance was so degraded that it couldn’t safely exceed 40 mph. It swerved dangerously, putting our animals and driver at serious risk.
We brought the truck back to Big Brand Tires. Over the phone, Jason (last name or title not provided) acknowledged something was wrong, but said they couldn’t figure out why and recommended I “take it somewhere else and have it repaired.” He offered to refund the alignment fee, but refused to take responsibility for the damage. I explained clearly: The truck was working perfectly before. Now it’s unsafe to drive. My exact statement was, "Fix what you broke."
I went back again today to follow up in person. Jason reiterated that they couldn’t fix it and denied any responsibility. When I asked for contact information for the store or district managers - Angel and Josh, first names only were given, and he refused to provide anything further. When I calmly pressed for a timeline for a call or resolution, Jason threatened to call the police and have me escorted out.
Let me be crystal clear: I NEVER raised my voice, used profanity, or made any threats. I asked a business to take responsibility for the damage they caused to a work vehicle absolutely critical to our operations. I was met with dismissiveness, evasion, and ultimately intimidation.
Is this normal?
My truck is a 20-year-old workhorse, intentionally chosen in December 2024 for its legendary 5.9L Cummins diesel engine. It’s a Quad Cab 4x4 that regularly hauls 10,000+ lbs and was in excellent condition when it entered their shop. I don’t understand how a reputable business can return a truck in worse condition than it arrived and then shrug off responsibility. It's not just worse, it is absolutely unsafe to use as intended.

I needed a tire patched on a Sunday. These guys were there, it was free, just as advertised. They were grout and did an honest inspection. They found small details only I would normally know about and never pressured me for additional service. I will definitely be coming back when I need some tires and good service.
Always the best service and professionalism and prices and quality across the board! Jason at front orchestrates a fine tuned business and all the guys working tires etc are really top notch! Can’t say enough good about them and I’ve been here multiple times for all sorts of things! Always recommend this business because they are the real deal from top to bottom!
Got new tires installed. Tires and rims came back still filthy, covered in grease from the install along with managing to inflict damage to all four rims. Clearly no care or regard for quality of workmanship and peoples property.
As expected BigBrand did a great job on the mount & balance of my 4 new tires. Followed through with an alignment check, which led to a discovery of an issue, they offered to and corrected the issue. Really happy with the performance of the team there.
Only problem is I scheduled by phone, arranged for 3pm yesterday. When I arrived there was a line out the door and one service agent, all the bays were full, all the techs where working hard, the service agent kindly asked me to come back the following day(today) at 8am, because clearly there was definitely not any chance of getting my service even started by the time they close.
In my opinion the scheduling service needs to be totally considerate of their coworkers. Amir and the team in Atascadero handled the demand but, they we're forced to turn away some scheduled appointments. It was because of the inaccurate job inputs from the online and over the phone service agents scheduling.
I was happy overall because of the 110% effort from the onsite workers. I just mentioned the issue because there was a lot of other frustrated customers.
Big huge thank you to Christopher at Big brand Tire & Service!!!! Our family was unfortunate to get a flat tire on the 101. We called AAA and the tow truck driver advised us to find a tire shop nearby to decide where we wanted to be towed to. I called a couple places within 5 miles of where we were and we chose BBT&S because of the great customer service Christopher (this guy could be Rob Lowe’s twin and has EXCELLENT people skills) was exuding over our telephone call. He calmed my nerves and I knew we were headed to the right place. The tire shop was busy but every customer there got the best and complete attention they needed. One hour and thirty minutes after getting our flat we are on the road again. Thank you also to Christian for changing out our tire so quickly and making sure our car was ready for the road again. Grateful they were open and grateful we were treated so nicely and taken care of in a timely manner. These guys are truly the best!
Made a call to them this morning because I had a screw through my tire. I had forgotten they do flat repairs for free. Unfortunately, my tire could not be repaired. It was already closing time but they were kind enough to review options with me and when I requested to purchase a new tire and have it installed on the spot, I was met with no hesitation. They placed my spare back in my trunk, as well as my old tire (which was practically new) and suggested I contact where I made that purchase as it might still be under warranty. My day was turned around thanks to their patience, kindness and assistance even in the midst of their very busy day!! Thank you!!! Shout out to Amir for holding that place down!
