This is a great local business! Great staff and prices. Samuel was efficient and helpful. They ordered what I needed same day!

We needed a part that was hard to find. Smothers tried their best, but they too didn't have it & couldn't order it either. However, the staff was friendly and really did try to accommodate us.

Samuel at the front desk was just very rude to me. 0/10 would not recommend coming here. And his service just now put me off from ever coming back here. I hope Bob sees this and knows that Samuel is very bad at customer service. He was standoffish and rude to me from the moment I walked in.

Best place to buy parts #1 people are friendly not like the other auto parts in Santa Rosa

Went in to get a AN fitting for my engine and was told they don't make a fitting like that. Went home and bought it online 5 minutes later Rob The fitting was a 3/8 NPT 90 degree to -6 AN for a fuel pressure regulator on a blown 496 bbc. If you look at the picture just above the oil breather you can see it currently uses 6 AN fittings instead of 2 so I like wasting money on car parts. PS say hello to Kenny

GET HELP FROM AL. I’m someone who knows very little about cars and how to work on them. I use YouTube to fix a few parts of mine for my car. First step was buying the parts. I went over to the closest location to my home and that was “Smothers”. Al greeted me and helped me figure out what part I needed and made sure I understood the information he was giving me. This is the First time I’ve been to “Smothers”. Second time visiting, I need clips from my bumper and I couldn’t find them. Al took his time to look for them with me and was actually helping me trying to find what would be good for me for five minutes or so. I’ve been to AutoZone before and they don’t even acknowledge you, let alone try to help you find any part. Thank you, Al. This is the least I can do if I can write him 10 out of 10 I would for customer service.

Tried returning my alternator core for my ford ranger. The sales associate told me that the box for the alternator they sold me was for an F150. So they sold me the incorrect alternator. Then I was told I lost my core because it was outside the 90 day window. The sales representative never mentioned this policy at the point of sale. He pulled out a blank receipt and said it’s printed down here somewhere. The print at the bottom of the receipt was microscopically small and difficult to read. I won’t be shopping here unless they are the only place on earth that has the part I need.

Went in for a plastic fastener. Asked for advice on what i needed. Three guys behind the counter and all I got was “might find something over there” and a wave uh a general direction. So I went to one of their competitors and got help.

I have to say IF you can get what you need they carry quality parts. But don't expect quality customer service if they don't like your motor. I've bought parts here for my 67 camaro NO PROBLEM! But I go in asking for parts for my original in-line 6 on my 1965 Mustang and forget it!!! First off the young guy helping me (and I'm in my 30s) didn't know what he was doing, kept asking the other guys for help- i appreciate that he did. He helped find the part number I needed, but didn't have it in stock. When I asked him if I could order he said that he'd have to look, found the part in Portland, attempted to call but no answer. So I asked how can I get the part then?- he said they could do a store transfer but had no idea what the freight charge would be and when asked another associate said "it's whatever they want to charge, no standard rates"- Really? Couldn't even tell me a ballpark? So the $45 part could be $100 and take a week to get? I get the freight charge, but the salesperson's attitude was not helpful, acted like he didn't want to help from the second he heard straight 6 motor. I was able to find the part online given the part number (so thanks for that), with free 2 day shipping. But I will definitely be avoiding any future business here.

This place is the best Parts and accessories store in Sonoma Co. They always have what I need, at the price I can afford..Big Thumbs up. Place looks really cool also..

Just got cut off by one of their delivery trucks. Had to lock up my brakes at normal city speeds due to aggressive driving by Smothers driver. So far company has been non responsive to my concerns. Shop here if you want to put your neighbors at risk!

Great staff, very professional, always helpful.. Cannot say enough good things about this company, they have always helped me find the best parts for the job I am completing.

This is the BEST place in town to buy anything for your car. Being a female I seem to have been short changed on car knowledge so I look to any auto supply store to assist me when my car needs "stuff". These guys are sooo helpful without being condescending...something I really appreciate. Highly recommend this place!

Have had to come here multiple times to get a part I couldn't wait for from another European Online Retailer. Overall, they have a lot in stock and its not rip your eyeballs out prices. Very much appreciate and recommend the service they provide. The actual auto parts stores sell you nothing but b.s. Go pay 5x less for the same garbage that will never work on amazon. The good news is you won't feel as ripped off.

If you need some hard to find parts especially European parts do you guys have a place to go in Santa Rosa if they haven’t had my part they’ve usually been able to order it most of the time getting at the same day or at least within a day I highly recommend them

The fact that they didn't have a clue what a standard SAE 2-wire quick disconnect was, especially when they sell the four wire version for trailers kinda upset me. That being said, service was quick, friendly, and informative, even though they didn't know what I was looking for they referred me to somewhere that might, FYI, it was at the referred place.

Sometimes will have stuff in stock bigger stores don't. Some OEM parts. They had an OEM clutch master for my 76 280z. Can be little pricey. Better quality care products, like Klasse.

Excellent service people are very friendly and helpful there it was a great experience walking in Smothers auto parts store everybody's happy all the time even when they're having a bad day

Walked in wearing an anti-trump shirt and received multiple dirty looks from employees who rather than helping me find what I need, pointed in a direction and stated down there. Funnily enough what I asked for was not found anywhere in the store. Even though I called ahead to check inventory... if you're a pro and need parts maybe go here but if you're a DIY guy like myself who may need some advice don't bother.

Awesome local auto parts store. They have a huge inventory and almost always have everything I need in stock. Very helpful staff. My first stop for any auto parts I need.

This is a great place for all kinds of auto and truck needs. Wholesale accounts and retail sales people that know their stuff. Prices are very competitive and the quality of their parts lines is top notch.

Smart staff, good stock but the wait time is always really long, no formal line to wait in and the staff helps people at random. Needs a formal line and staff who pay attention to said line. Waited 10 minutes, guy walked to the wrong side of the counter and was helped. This is why Smothers is my last-ditch effort for parts.

Sold me the wrong oil filter for my Mercedes. They have good parts you just can't trust the employees apparently. I'm just going to use Amazon from now on. At least they get my order correct.

The employees are very polite and they have good parts and help you find good parts if you ever have a question about the place notify me I'll answer it wonderfully because I have went to smothers so many times I even went back to wearhouse because I have friends the let me back there and they have every part you can imagine the have bus batteries,engines,fluid,etc. You can buy any part you need for your vehicle.

great parts guys that actually know what your working on. the owner is not my favorite person but hes employing locals and keeping the big chains at bay. you may pay more but they dont sell you junk because they warranty parts.

Went in to get an o ring for my pcv system, when they didn't show one in inventory, the man at the counter pulled out a generic set of o rings and gave me one that matched the size I needed for free. The guys here have always been willing to help me find parts even if they don't have them.

Today I had to return a windshield wiper that was too small. Not only did the sales rep take my return (it had been slightly over the 30 day no refund policy) he noticed that I had been accidentally overcharged at my initial visit. He made the adjustments quickly and without me even having to ask. He also helped brainstorm with me a problem I'm having with my windshield. I appreciate so very much the help I received today. Auto parts stores are a foreign land to me and I feel like I can walk into Smothers and get excellent service and learn something while I'm there. This particular store was also always very helpful when I was driving a '67 Cutlass. Thank you Smothers!
