Pretty good place. Prices are mid level and they have pretty much all batteries in stock. I've bought several different batteries there over the years and they always have carried it. Customer service is good. I'd give them 5 stars if they installed for free but I suppose charging for installation helps keep the price of a battery down.

Just called again left a message over 2 hours ago no call back. Called said they were busy leave a message. Nope called back, got hi can you hold click. Waited for 3 minutes. I hung up. Not good customer service. I'm calling to see if you have my battery I stock so I can come pick it up. Always have used interstate batteries. I guess they don't need my business. Maybe she was there alone running the whole show.

Jen is the BOMB... she was working the counter (customers) answering the phone , retrieving batteries etc. & all with a professional attitude that was greatly appreciated... she checked my battery diagnosed a dead cell saw it was under warranty & quickly provided a replacement ... this is an EXAMPLE of what CUSTOMER SERVICE is all about !! always been an INTERSTATE BATTERY customer ...always will be !

Horrible customer service, everybody moves like a snail in that place. Over the years I've bought four batteries. the first one lasted me 9 years, the second one lasted me almost 6, the third ones in my wife's car which I barely gotten 4 years out of and it's probably need to be replaced. The last one I bought for my truck lasted 3 months and died they said it wasn't the battery they recharged and give it back to me and said here deal with it. That was Bill the general manager. I told him I had to buy another battery to replace this one cuz it filled me on the Saturday morning before work, and I no longer need this battery however he said too bad keep it do whatever you want with it but we ain't going to refund you. He said there must be something wrong with my vehicle. I took it to a mechanic and he said there's nothing wrong with my truck he said you just got a bad battery. He said it happens from time to time, he was surprised they didn't do anything other than charge it and give it back to me. Will never buy another interstate battery ever again. By the way I have one for sale if anyone wants one, I'll give you a good deal

Great expeditious service with a smile. Excellent prices. Try a refurbished battery for 1/2 the cost and receive a 3 month warranty. Ample parking with wheelchair parking & accessible. I have been a customer for over 50 years.

Thank you Interstate Battery! Two very nice guys working the store on Industrial Rd, Santa Rosa today. They made my day! Last 3 days, I had been wasting my time trying to get a battery for my Jeep at a Les Schwab shop nearer to my home. They didn’t have a battery in stock for the Jeep, but said one was available in the Santa Rosa store. They said they could grab that one and have it maybe the next day or the following day and would call me. No call back. I called them after 2 days and learn the SR battery was there but only being held for another customer. I called Interstate … 2 battery types available. Phone quoted the price, told come on in and no problem no appointment needed. When paying, the price was higher than the quote as installation fee was added that I had thought was included in the quote. I had just expected the quoted battery price and any taxes. They were super nice about letting me stick with the phone quote today and not charging the install fee. My Jeep is alive again and great service by this shop… Thanks Again!!!

Called and asked if they could replace a battery in a 2015 Mini Cooper. They assured me they could and gave me a quote for the battery and the service. I drove the car over, and the guy who came out to look at the car said they don't work on Mini Coopers. He was rude and dismissive. Wasted a trip over there. Incredibly displeased, take your car elsewhere.

I needed a new battery and Jen was very knowledgeable and kind. I appreciated her thoroughness and great customer service skills. Both of my terminals were loose enough that she was able to just lift cables off battery without loosening the hex nuts which is not good and the nuts were difficult to loosen to be able to properly tighten them again. I appreciate her catching that and making sure that they were secured. I had just had my vehicle at the mechanics a couple weeks ago with the only probable cause they could find for the issue I had was the battery was coming up low and barely passing and by time I got it to interstate it tested bad. I appreciate her catching the loose terminals when mechanics didn't, or if they had didn't bother to tighten them as Jen had a heck of a time getting the nuts out properly so she could tighten them securely. She took the time to do the job right and it is much appreciated. Will be returning for future battery needs.

These guys are my go to whenever I need a battery. Great service and reasonable prices. Have never had an issue with any if the batteries I have purchased (knock on wood!).

Always busy, but worth a bit of patience. Not just vehicle batteries, but everything electrical you need. Inverters, jump starters, cable kits, and of course batteries of every ilk. Today I had to replace the jeep battery. They had me in and out in 20 minutes! And the battery still had 2 weeks warranty! Great people, great service, and absolutely great products! Thanks folks!

I went to get a my battery Checked last week and came out I had a bad battery and I purchased a new battery for my Ford Truck. The people here are great but I felt pretty uncomfortable from one of the ladies that I was warned about from my coworker . She randomly started talking about a accident she had to some other guy and just kept showing off photos on her phone. Of her Burns or something like that, I felt bad for the guy you can tell he was in a rush and she just kept holding him back from leaving. I feel like that was not great service and I felt like she was just trying to make people feel bad for her or something. And that’s just scaring people away. I want to feel comfortable buying batteries and not feel attacked by someone who wants attention because she hurt herself.

Last December I had to go on essential travel and I knew tht I was going to have to leave my van, a 2014 sprinter. This van, unlike past vans, has an automatic on feature. this means that the battery is run dry if it is allowed to sit for two weeks. As I was planning to leave it for a month, I went to Interstate to learn how to safely disconnect the battery. I work on the road for most of the year (that is when we are not in lockdown) and I use Interstate because, well they are in lots of states and I know I can get back up. The sales person was helpful, and showed me a not too expensive solar panel that would keep the battery fresh. I had my doubts, but when Tara intervened and suggested a slightly larger unit I figured I would go with her recommendation. She has helped me in the past with difficulties, and so I count her in my list of resources. Well my 1 month trip turned into 4 months and I was dreading what I was going to have to do to get the van started. Last time it too the bigger AAA truck and 2 batteries. By to my utter joy and amazement, it started on the first try.

I just had to recently replaced my car battery which lasted for 7 years surprisingly enough. anyways, I went to interstate all battery center because it was nearby and good pricing. After installing the battery myself thinking it's not that big a deal since I had done it before, but this time I had issues with my car's performance (dying after hitting a speed bump etc.) So I went right back and the associate (Tara S.) After helping with a $20 rebate for my old battery came out to see what might be the cause. It turns out that one of the terminals was badly corroded with mineral buildup. She took the time to clean and remove the corrosion and replace the bolt all with no charge (and yes I did ask if I could pay for the work). Excellent work.

1-15-2021 had some problems with battery I purchased with them. Went there several times about battery not hold its charge. I went in a was immediately acknowledged by Andres the staff there, he was very helpful, professional, and is a prime example of great costumer service. He was kind enough to share some of his knowledge with me which i appreciate it. After inspecting everything he went ahead and gave me a new battery because mine was still under warranty. Thanks Andres for being very helpful and made this experience with interstate awesome! i would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great Service, Very Nice people, Great Price. I was super nervous to go here, thought I was going to spend a ton of money. Turns out I was wrong. I got a new battery for my car and had it installed for under $200. Plus the guy replaced one my my battery brackets for free. I will for sure go back for all of my battery needs. If you haven’t gone to them before and need help buying battery and having it installed I strongly suggest giving them a try. The staff was super friendly and polite, which is hard to come by these days. I appreciate that they were open on a Saturday and I didn’t have to wait very long, I was there less than an hour. Went in for a battery purchase and install for my vehicle. While they were unable to perform the service due to my cars needs. They were quick and gave me recommendations on where to go next for my vehicle. 9/10

THE best customer service of any retail store. Very knowledgeable staff! You walk in wondering if they have the battery for your unique item, and walk out with your issue solved. Tara, who knows the inventory so well, cannot be stumped and has my item ready to ring up before I even reach the counter. I have come in describing an odd configuration of cords and adapters, and have been suprised to learn of more efficient products they already have that I never knew existed. This is an awesome place that removes much of life's uncertainties (when it comes to batteries and accesories!) AAAAA +++++

The staff and management here were great! My daughter attends school at the local university. While at school her car battery died, needed to be checked and replaced. I was worried how she would be treated being an 18 year old college girl. I called ahead and was assured she would be taken care of. The staff was not only helpful, but amazing. They tested her battery to make sure that was the problem. They were also able to ensured that the battery was under warranty, despite the fact that I could not find my receipt and it was purchased through my mechanic in So Cal.They replaced it and installed a new one free of charge! Amazing service!! This gave me such piece of mind as a mom.

Excellent customer service! I came in and was greeted in a friendly manner and told them I needed a replacement battery, which was 4 years old and purchased through them. They honored the warranty and got me in and out in under half an hour. I highly recommend this establishment!

PROBLEM?: They helped my problem disappear! I am so relieved. Interstate exceeded my expectations. I came to them because they had provided me good service in the past. They have always been helpful, but the staff there this time really shined. I had shopped around to find out the true answers as to how to handle the battery situation. Each time that I called with questions, they were consistently kind, patient, as well as professional as I tried to find out what was happening with my (my elderly mother's) battery problem. Someone had broken into her car, and cut the battery cables to steal the battery. We had the car towed there and the cables were fixed, battery replaced! RESULTS: They did a much better job than I had imagined possible. I was spared having to take it to the dealership and be overcharged. The dealership had said only they could fix the problem and I had to use their parts. Interstate saved me over a thousand dollars of rip off fees, and grief at the dealership. I dont like being taken for granted as most dealerships will do. As a woman I have had some mechanics try to pull the wool over my eyes, even when I know better. Interstate has restored my faith and confidence at a time when it meant a great deal. Thanks for being there. Thank you for your honesty and integrity Interstate Staff and management!
