For sure cheating people. But there isn't really anything you can do. Even with the fluctuations in recycling prices there have been several times when prices were the same and I had tbe same amount of bags and have had differences in the amount I was paid of like $10-20. Also the way they shove e everything on and off the scale you can tell they don't want you to see what it is weighing. Hella dirty

Made the mistake of coming here at lunchtime. I had all my cans ready and they closed for lunch right then and there. 30 minutes plus about 15 minutes waiting for the guy to crunch the numbers. The line was super long and they didn’t really tell us how long it would take. These guys definitely have the upper hand as the only crv recycling center around, so I guess they can do whatever they want.

I would not suggest them their convenient however 2023 I had half as many recyclables as I did today in 2025 I received $160 in 2023 with twice as much in 2025. I’ve received about 130 they are, cheating people left and right they took a number of pieces that were clearly recyclable and threw them in the trash such as A large iced tea bottle and a 3 gallon water container. They also make it so you can’t see the weight they have it facing towards their shipping container so it’s very difficult to see anything stay clear they are cheating you.

Convenient location. Service with a smile and with the same smile cheat you out of your pay. GIveing you the price for #2 plastic when you clearly are selling #1. Big price change. Would not recommend this location unless you don't mind giving away your money.

fair &friendly , pays cash without B.S. not to crowded , in/out short period of time good service!

In and out in two minutes. Got less for a full container of crushed cans than I have for smaller amounts at other centers.

Go to another recycling center if you want what you owed 👎🏽

DONT GO HERE. TRUST ME. The people working this are so rude. And I think they cheat you out of money, ive gotten more in the past for the same amount other places. Wish this place would leave town.

I'm so glad I found this place! I've been here twice now and it's the best recycling center in Santa Rosa. They are honest and will pay you in cash for the actual weight of your recycling. The staff is very nice and they work hard to get you in and out quickly.

Good location, easy in and out. They now do not take glass on Saturdays (they have in the past, and it was a trunk full of bottles that brought me there today). I've usually had a good experience here, but today was an exception; one guy dumped by barrel of cans before it was weighed, then told the guy weighing it that it was half a barrel, which is true, but all the cans were crushed. Nobody I recognized working there today speaks English, so I didn't see how I was going to make that point, so I just left. As I said, I've usually had a good experience there, but today sucked on every level.

Great location. Good hard working family. Make sure you have your recycling separated. That makes it easier for all . Reasonable honest rate.

Very very very bad place. Always close early, and most of the employees are very very rude. They act like they are mad at you for bringing in recycling to them! I would NOT feel safe going there if I was a lone female. So women do NOT go alone. It's also very very very hard to communicate, if you don't speak their language. I have now tried 3 times to go turn my recycling into them, and each time I've failed. So not I'm just going somewhere else, and I HAVE to leave this review. People need to know this is happening still.

I won't return. They seemed more concerned about the ONE CAN they said was not acceptable, than weighing my two garbage cans full of cans, and two for plastic. Walking back to the car, another "customer" thought I was staring him down and challenegd to fight me. I was simply walking to my car, which was on the other side of his car. Bad news and bad vibes all around.

They do glance at the scale. Those who made comments about it being an issue? Consider this ,they have been doing this for awhile. They know by looking how full the can is. Are the cans crashed ect. Don't ever go to Santa Rosa Ave. Rude and rip off.

Close early seem like they don't like there jobs

They told me they don't take glass. I don't know if this is usual or a one-time thing. In any case, probably a good idea to call and check before you go. Otherwise, they took my plastic and aluminum and were quick and friendly. It looks like they also pay for some kinds of non CRV plastic and metal. Also, call to check what time they close. When I called they said they didn't think they were taking anything past 3-3:30 today even though they're supposed to be open until 4:30. It seems to depend on how full the trailer gets.

Pretty good experience here, not many places to park and you have to put all your bottles in their trash bins before you weigh. Got about $40 for this giant thing of bottles.

Good place. The only thing I don't like is that you have to check yourself every time one of your blue bins are being measured because if you don't the people working there they don't put the right amount making the cash you get less than what it would be.

They are quick and friendly. It is the only place I will go to recycle and it is great that they pay you cash! No other place beats this place!

I love this place usually not too busy and I love that they pay cash !!! They are very efficient and friendly … Bilingual too !!! My favorite spot for recycling … I recommend to everyone who needs cash for their recycling

Line was average, but no second line to get check. Guys work together, to make everything move faster. Right off SR 12 makes drive pleasant.

Yes I live down the street on Boyd st for twenty years and what i have seen is that out of many around Santa Rosa that these guys pay cash and are friendly .and as a customer if you came prepared and plastic,is separated from aluminum and you of course take the lids off the plastic you’ll find out that it a whole different experience there .and it never hurts to go prepared.people appreciate that.be kind and kindness will be returned.

I was at this location on Friday, July 2nd. It was somewhat busy, and had hours posted as 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Saturday. I had my recycling separated out and ready to go. There were more than enough containers to handle my recycling and that of several other customers. Staff there is bilingual in English and Spanish, and very efficient. I was in and out in about ten minutes. I'm glad they're still in business, there are few retail locations that accept CRV container recycling.

They do not pay what they say they pay per pound and the scale is off

This place is pretty simple. The lot is very small and I rarely get a close parking place so I have to drag my filled bins some distance. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the guys are very polite and honest. If they're not too busy, one friendly, strong guy will offer to help me.
