This is one of the best yards I've ever been to and I'm new to the whole car junkyard scene. The guys that work here have always been super friendly and treat you like family decent and fair prices on just about anything you can pull from the yard they always have new vehicles and there's always something exciting going on I haven't been back here in a couple months but everyone saying this is permanently closed I hope that's not true and I really hope they open back up if anybody knows why they're closed that would be helpful to
I went down to get a steering wheel for my nephew for Christmas. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and let me hunt for what I was looking for. He made tools available to me and was really a pleasure to work with. This experience was. Very positive.
Website states that they would take cars without titles but when I called to inquire they promptly turned down the vehicle because it had no title. Website is misleading.
The name of the company and the owners are new. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Prices were good. They got the part off and brought up to us in a matter of minutes. Ask for Cisco.
The new people are horrible. They told me they would buy a junk car from me for $150, if I towed it there. I towed it there and that is when the lying continued. They would tell me they would do such and such and then 2 seconds later they'd say they wouldn't do it. I finally towed my car back home. All they know how to do is lie. Don't waste your time with them and maybe they will go out of business.
It is interesting that all the good reviews for these guys sound like advertisements and all the bad reviews talk about real things that happened with these guys. I wonder who is writing the good reviews.
Don't waste your time. Con artists running the yard with incompetent desk people. Desk people don't even know what they have in the yard. Called down for a specific part for a car-sports car. Was told they didn't know if they had the part but had a couple of those vehicles, that I would just have to look.
I got on the yard, they didn't have a one of those cars. They even had cars stacked up on top of each other where people go through the yard, which is I'm sure is against some kind of state regulation.
So they get you in their gate for their $2 cover fee with a "we have those cars, not sure about those parts available", then nothing there. Scam artists.
every since the new guys have taken over the service there has gotten better. the last couple of times I was there the parts I needed were on cars they had just brought in that we're on the tear down pad they had even offered to help me pull the parts. they are constantly getting new inventory and do whatever it takes to help me find the parts I need I had pretty much given up on going to Fred's but now I will be going to good guys consistently the service there is awesome and their prices are good
Terrible! Since being taken over by current management, the service has fallen flat. When they actually answer the phone, which is rare, they make no announcement as to who they are. Given the previous reputation and experience I had with Fred's i was driven to keep returning, but I would sooner drive the extra 25 miles to go elsewhere to avoid these hacks. They took a profitable business and will run it into the ground.
They gave me a good deal on the part I was looking for. They repositioned the truck so I could get to the part and even loaned me a cutting blade when mine broke. These guys go the extra mile, I highly recommend Good Guy's Auto Salvage.
I've been in search of some parts for a rear diff I called many other places no one would give me the time of day until I called Fred's they noted what I needed and found it. There the first place I called that didn't care what the diff was under...They seemed to know what they are talking about. I will go back to these guys
Fred’s listed a civic on craigslist, when I called they say they have what I need. I had to pay $2 dollars to enter the yard and the car is gone. Tried a different time and the same thing happened. Pissed customer, Bad customer service with lack of knowledge of what they have. Don’t waste your time!
I'm glad that i found a genuine and an alternate mechanic professionals around this 85027 location.

Had a 100% self-inflicted bad experience at the auction next door. Chris and crew worked with me and turned it totally around. Went way beyond expected efforts, even to the point of putting gas in the car so I could make it to a station. I was so impressed, I brought a co-worker to the yard the very next day for a part he needed.
I had engine problems and was quoted a lot of money from another place then I went to Freds and found out my spark wires were in the wrong order and the mechanic gut swithched them and it ran like new again plus they didn't charge me, he said "its on us" WOW a honest mechanic. GO see them!!!
