Most uncomfortable experience I ever had at store. Never go here, Al the manager has an attitude bigger than the company. He made disrespectful comments and when I asked what’s going on he said tell corporate I don’t care. What they gone do? When I mentioned he is being recorded he stopped the comments and pointed at the door.
Bought a battery for my Jeep Wrangler back in May of this year ('25). It drained and was at a very low voltage after sitting for a few days. Took it out and brought it back in to this store. Brad and his sidekick Holden were fantastic. Both were very professional, knowledgeable and quick to take care of me. Thank you for standing behind the brands you represent and doing right by me.
Its hard to leave 5 stars for a parts store, but this one deserves it. Getting parts for your vehicle and leaving in a good mood is a difficult thing to accomplish, but somehow they do it
came in today feeling very stressed and frustrated about my vehicle situation, but Al at the counter was a patient and kind man, and gave me some extra reassurance that the part i was purchasing was most likely what i needed by asking me a quick question about what had been happening. i left feeling more confident, and feel this is a place i can trust getting the help i need again if need be in the future.
Was made to wait 20 minutes because I was requesting a free service that Advance supplies. I was told that paying customers had to be taken care of first. Needed a code read and this guy tells me they sell the part to read my code at Walmart down the road. Keep in mind I spend all my money there when I need to service one of my vehicles. You get better service at O'Reilly's anyways
The staff here is extremely friendly hand helpful. They don't try to up-sell you, they just show you what's available and explain the difference if you need it. Very patient with my less-mechanically-inclined roommate, as well!
Super friendly and helpful staff! I popped in to get new wiper blades. I usually grab what I need and install myself, but the employee who checked me out immediately grabbed his jacket and offered to install (in the rain, of course). They were tricky to install, but he stayed smiling and happy to help. Thank you again!!!
This Store is ran amazing! From the manager Alan to his employees they greet me by name and care about my projects. I have 3 parts stores closer to my home but always chose this store due to the service provided.
Better than most auto part stores. The staff is better than most. They have been helpful most of the time. Not helpful rarely, and super helpful also. My only hesitation with visiting here is I do not what kind of service I might get today. Great auto part store if you order ahead online!
Went to Advance Auto Parts in Sun Prairie looking for windshield wiper replacements. I had very little clue on what blades I needed. Alan asked me if I needed help the second I walked in the store and took care of me. Very knowledgeable and went out of his way to change my blades for me. Would definitely return (:
Wow is all I can say... from the moment I walked in this older middle age dude was rude, hostile and unpleasant to work with. Had an attitude the whole time I was there trying to buy a battery for my truck. Which he accused me of trying to have them install it on a commercial vehicle, which it is most def not. The truck is mine and when I told him I didn't appreciate this treatment and interrogation he shrugged it off and saidf take your business else where then, so I did and will now forever go to O'Rileys, Napa or whoever is open... I will not be returning to this store ever again! I don't care if I have to spend $50 more on a product, I will never come here again. Rude staff is the worst and I hope you can replace this person ASAP, because judging from all your bad reviews its this same individual.
Jerk middle aged guy on night shift kept harassing me to pick which brand of power steering fluid I wanted and "Get the Hell out." I am 67 years old customer for over 30 years at multiple Advanced stores.
O'Reilly will get my future business.

What would be considered a second home is an understatement. Between my boyfriend buying parts or needing to buy detailing products for the business. They always come in clutch with the sales.
I was in need of new windshield wipers and finally stopped by the Sun Prairie store. The gentleman in the store looked up the size I needed for my vehicle, gave me a recommendation which fit my needs. He then installed them for me. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Great service!
Good place to get almost any parts for autos/ trucks. If your 'check engine' light is on, they can plug in and diagnose the problem.
Need a specialty tool? They can loan it to you.
Prices are competitive. It's my go to for most anything automotive....
The associate who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. My check engine light was on and they helped me determine I needed coolant. I will definitely be back again!
I had to exchange a part. It was my heater fan relay. It had a limited lifetime warranty. The owner of the place was acting like it was inconveniencing him that I needed to replace the part. I did not feel very welcome as a customer of the store
They've always been overly helpful when Ive been in. They always ask if you need related things to what you're buying too, but not in an up-sell tone, which is appreciated when you're someone who doesn't always know what you're doing with cars.
Don't go here if you need advice on anything honda. The bald guy knows nothing about hondas or Acuras and puts up a face like he knows what hes talking about and the manager is a jerk aswell. Shes full of too much attitude.
