My experience with Ben was absolutely terrible. I took my truck and my Avalon there my truck I had my transmission flushed and it stopped on me. I took it back. He had it flushed again and charged me. I had my Avalon took an air. It was overheating. I told him to run the coals because it stops Now and then and he said OK. I changed the radiator and I also ran the coals and there’s nothing wrong mine you when I got it back. My engine light was still on now my car is overheating still and it stops and loses all compression and drops down to 20 miles an hour driving he told me again to bring it back. There’s no way I’m taking my car back to him. I don’t know what is going on with this guy, but he did not fix my vehicle. I am really disappointed.
I cannot stress this enough. Ben’s Auto Service is the best shop you can go to. I have came in numerous times without an appointment and this location has never turned me away. Every time I have came for service, I have been more than happy and fully satisfied. Prices are great, the people are the best ,and straight to the point. You won’t leave wondering if the job was done right because you know it was done to the best standard of care. I will always recommend this location. I encourage you to come check it out for yourself next time you need service!
Excellent repair shop. Brian is honest and fair. We're very happy with the repairs done to our 16 year old car that is now still road worthy!! And safe!
Ask questions and you'll quickly find that they make false claims about your "necessary repairs". But they were pleasant about it so they let one above the lowest rating from me. I mean really, 2k for four bolts and a single part of the muffler assembly? It's absurd.
Ben's always goes above and beyond...they do what I ask and get my vehicle done right without a list of things that need to be done like everywhere else that I have been, very reasonably priced and work is done in a timely manner...Thank you Ben's!
My partner took his car there to get looked at and they said it would be 100$ down just to look at it but it would go towards the cost of the full service, even tho he told him what was wrong with it. After he looked at it he just worked on it, didn’t call to tell let him know how much or if he would like him to work on it.. but called with an almost $800 invoice oh anddd he fixed something that he didn’t tell him to fix? basically tried to get over but my man is smarter then they thought he was. Never again. Ended up giving him 350$-400$. I don’t knw what that man was thinking.
Not only saved me a lot of money the dealership would have charged, but they had my muffler chopped, welded and back to me within a day. Extremely greatful and happy with the quality of work Ben's provided.
I have been going to Ben's Auto for about 7 years now and I never have a bad experience. I I've always owned used vehicles that come with many problems but I have confidence in Brian and his staff to get things fixed appropriately and quickly and at low cost. I don't feel pressured to spend additional money on unnecessary repairs and they seem to get me into the schedule fairly quickly. They communicate the exact problem and there's never any hidden surprises or added fees or costs. I trust the work that they do and the quality of the work. This is a no frills establishment and everything is transparent. I highly recommend them.
I was directed to Ben's by a dealership for exhaust work and ended up with a fix for a different problem as well. Ben's has helpful, reliable service for a significant discount compared to dealerships. I will be a customer going forward and will recommend to others.
We should’ve gone to Bens sooner. They are a wonderful family owned shop. I had quite the list of things I needed to be taken care of and they were able to do it and at a very fair price!
It is great to find such a wonderful business to work with that doesn’t price gouge like the last place I took my vehicle. I am looking forward to remaining a loyal customer for years to come.
Bens Auto is an excellent place for Auto repairs at a reasonable price. It’s a well run family business and has been in Brian’s family for over 50 years.

Had a slow leak the day before thanksgiving called them in the AM and they were able to let me barrow an air tank to fill the tire enough to get my car in then fix the leak that day. Great service and nice people.
I have been going to Ben's for 30 years. I trust Brian and Joe with my cars and am sure I am getting great mechanical work with honest repair at fair prices.
I am extremely happy with the quality of the work and the level of service I received last week from the good people at Ben's auto. I was in a real jam with both of my cars down needing immediate repair for one of my cars and Ben's auto delivered - quick, quality work at a very fair price. I will be using Ben's auto for future auto repairs. A++ customer experience!
Took my car in to have the Power Steering Pressure Line replaced, which I thought was the problem. Turned out that a section of line on the steering rack had blown out and was the real problem. They made a line to replace it, so I didn't need to buy a whole new steering rack. Saved me a ton of money. Ben's has been a place my family has went to for decades. Most of the time it's been to get exhaust pipe cut to fit. This is the first time I took my car there. They're really great and fair priced.
They started out with a decent attitude and gave me a ride home. But then once they had looked at my car and it wasn't going to make them any money, they would NOT come get me and talked to me like I was an idiot once I walked there, to get my car back. He had the nerve to tell me I should've called a taxi & that I was worried about nothing... it was just a dirty sensor. I was recommended here... but I do NOT recommend them to you!!!
The owner Brian is the most fair and honest mechanic we have ever worked with and we swear by his work. He is always looking for ways to keep your repair cost low and is smart to do so. We don't take our cars anywhere else.
Work that I have had done there:
-New upper intake manifold
-Metal coolant elbows
-Coolant flushed
All of this was done quickly and for a reasonable price. Only problem I had and I wouldn't even consider this a problem, was I saw that coolant was dripping from the upper radiator hose and burning on the crossover pipe. Just loosened the hose clamp and shoved the hose up farther and it wasn't dripping anymore. Pleased with the work done.
Sorry others had bad experiences. I have an older car so I don't want to take it to the dealership and pay a fortune. I have taken my car here on 2 occasions and they told me I did not need all the work the dealership was telling me I needed and saved me about $800. The other time the dealership told me I needed to replace my entire exhaust system. They had one of their welders repair a small hole. Saved me close to $900. If you have an older car this is a great place. You may have to wait to get in but to save that much money, I am willing to wait. I also like that they can find work arounds instead of replacing everything with brand new parts on an older car.
Fair price, but they failed to find a simple problem despite my clear description of what was happening and my idea of what the problem was. I suspect they didn't run the tests they claimed to have, or they would have easily found the issue.
